    I need to put back in a radiator that someone took out and never showed back up, probably because its a jeep. This was the first video I came across and I dont think I ever laughed so hard before, these damn jeeps!!! Only jeep owners know the frustration of them, its a never ending battle! Thanks for sharing the video

    Did you show how to undo the lines on the driver side going into the radiator? If not, at what step do you remove those?

      They're an absolute nightmare to get back on and lined-up where they're actually supposed to go, so that was a missed opportunity for some more cursing and bitching, right there.

    Rustbelt you just like the other guys when you take apart a Grand Cherokee WJ 1999 through 04 it is so much easier to take apart the whole front fascia the radiator along with the Shroud and the transmission cooler everything all comes out as one unit .

    • @RustBeltAuto
      @RustBeltAuto  3 роки тому

      Maybe I try that, if I run into another one with that colossal mess of coolant fan line things on there.

    Hello .Have a 2001 grand cherokee laredo 4.0 6 cyl. put in new radiator,, the coolant filler neck is on the driver side. and I also put in new radiator trans oil cooler lines. I just did not take note which transmission line they hook back up to.
    so does the upper radiator line connect back to the upper transmission line with 3/8 hose? please help a girl out.

    • @RustBeltAuto
      @RustBeltAuto  3 роки тому

      One goes in the radiator, the other from the radiator goes into the cooler, and the other from the cooler goes back into the transmission. People may say otherwise, but the direction of flow really doesnt matter.

    It houses irritability and childish behavior. So yeah, I have an excuse for EVERYTHING I do from now on... but figuring shit like this out really overly irritates me now.

    Didn't look too terrible. I'm sure there are way worse cars to change a rad on. Did the rust get to this one or something? I've had my Japanese cars with good rads for over 20 years. Probably helps that I change out the fluid ever once and a while. Thanks for sharing! OKAY BYE!

      @BarnStangz 6 років тому +1

      Me too! I liked the more boxy look of the XJ. My old man had a '87 Wrangler new, it was a pretty good Jeep for the most part. man, I can recall him going through 3 rads in that thing. He would save the receipt and go back to the auto parts place and get another one for free, since they were lifetime warrantied. The only things that sucked about that Jeep, salt killed it and it needed an oil pan. That wasn't an job. Also, when the slave cylinder went, you had to pull the whole trans just to get to it and the lines. That sucked too.

    The bird I think is (was) a great kiskadee (Pitangus sulphuratus), called bem-te-vi in Brazil and benteveo in Argentina, is a passerine bird in the tyrant flycatcher family Tyrannidae. It is the only member of the genus Pitangus. (Wikipedia)

    • @RustBeltAuto

      Doing what you just said would be catering to an artificial social construct. Me being more like you would not be my reality. What you just said was a negative comment. I'm sorry that my reality does not coincide with your own. It sounds like it is condescending, dull, boring, and without color.
