your bike is still in running-in or if it has not yet fully opened up. You can switch it after say your bike crosses 10K+ kms and after 3-4 services.Reason is it's very thick ester based full synthetic oil, it does hold good grade at high temps, but is very restrictive for components and not free flowing on a new engine, it is also notoriously known for causing head gasket leaks and oil burning in combustion.

Hey Buddy In my past 1.5 years of experience with gixxer i only had oil smell whenever i purred engine oil more than 900ml in bike, so afterwards i started following the max oil level bar, & i never had any smell from engine, also its depends on the climate conditions which you ride, in mumbai temperature normally stays between 30'c to 36'c, so this can be reason with me....

I don't think the power reduction will be due to fully synthetic oil, it's only 4k on your odd will suggest you to stick to stock idemitsu oil atleast till 10k on your odometer and then shift to synthetic oil as still the bike engine is very new, also see whether any dust at bike seat which blocking air filter..
Naveen Chandar it's depends on what climate conditions you rides and how you rides.. If it's hot conditions and if you constant rev engine on higher rpm. Then more engine oil will be used which will be resulting in finishing oil earlier...

Buddy nice video.. but u lost some grams of oil engine while pouring bcz u dint properly open the motul dabba cap. Actually if u pull the string after opening the cap....it will come out to a certain height. Nyways i did the same change of engine oil just couple of days ago so thought to correct u. But man believe me i could the engine smoothness after the oil change 😀

Do you extend the drainage interval (km and months)? If yes then by how much? I have been using motul 300v for 6 months, again 300v for 6 months and currently 7100 for 7 months. I have noticed decrease in oil level after around 4500 kms. I also experience the oil leak issue from stator coil rubber but it is not too much to decrease the level significantly. There is no blue-white exhaust smoke or burning smell.

How often do you change your engine oil if you use Motul 7100 4T 10W-40? Both in km and months.
7100 can easily used till 6k kms but I drained out the same in between 4-5k kms

It's depends on the conditions you reside if you are reside in cold area then it will affect your bike

and in traffic stops when clutch is used it gets overheated more

I have new bike Suzuki zixxer sf till running 4000km & he don't take speed over 110km in 8000rpm. Why this low speed . My friend bike have reach 130km .But my bike only 110 ,. Why ???

You can pull the nozzle out from the oil can. Makes it easier to pour.

Buddy nice video.. but u lost some grams of oil engine while pouring bcz u dint properly open the motul dabba cap. Actually if u pull the string after opening the cap....it will come out to a certain height. Nyways i did the same change of engine oil just couple of days ago so thought to correct u. But man believe me i could the engine smoothness after the oil change 😀

This is the best oil for Gixxer available in market.. Using it on my gixxer from past more than 2 years 👍
Do you extend the drainage interval (km and months)? If yes then by how much? I have been using motul 300v for 6 months, again 300v for 6 months and currently 7100 for 7 months. I have noticed decrease in oil level after around 4500 kms. I also experience the oil leak issue from stator coil rubber but it is not too much to decrease the level significantly. There is no blue-white exhaust smoke or burning smell.

i have poured this motul 850 ml..after fitting new oil filter should i have to pour 100 ml oil more to reach 950 or remain the same that is now 850 m..

Suzuki oil is really bad. Don't use it after the free services. Use motul 7100 or shell advance semisynthetic.

Swapnesh Mishra no buddy the recommend oil grade for Gixxer is 10w40 only 20w50 is for Bikes higher than 200cc bikes, will suggest you if you feel so much of engine harshness, then better to drain this oil and put proper recommended oil only 👍by the way thanks for heads-up buddy 😊
