    I have a Hoyt carbon matrix I've had mine for 11 years now. I shoot 65 lbs. And I'm 55 yrs old I don't ever see myself switching bows unless I'm not able to shoot a compound anymore then I'll go to a crossbow.

    I got rid of my Mathews V3X33 for the SS34. It's unreal. Just gotta try it to find out.

    I remember a few years ago bowtech came out with what they called the micro sync dial which was designed to get your bow in time without needing a press, i would be interested two know how different this new system is, if I remember right it wasn't very affective so they discontinued it, knowing bowtech they've probably got it working properly.

      @silent, I’m sure if you reached out to Bowtech they would be cool with working out a deal with you so you could get into the newest bow.
      I’m a Diamond Archery guy, I’m FAR FROM Bowtech budget but the guys at the factory treat me nicely all the time. I never catch a whiff of attitude because I’m a budget guy. Good luck!

    Waiting to see what Mathew’s and Hoyt drops but the core sr looks like it might be mine soon. Love the phase 4 and vtm as well though.

    Im a huge fan of PSE carbon bows. Mach 34. Just curious as how the heck Bowtech competes in the carbon game when their bow is the same weight as their other bows? Maybe Im alone in this, but I shoot a carbon bow because it's so dang light- (Mach 34 is 3.65 lbs) and (bow tech is 4.7 lbs). Just my thoughts and I realize they dont even matter! 😂

    • @BowDisciples
      @BowDisciples  9 місяців тому

      I agree that most people who want carbon probably want it to reduce weight 🤔

    • @sheyanderson4371
      @sheyanderson4371 9 місяців тому

      If weight is your end all be all for a carbon, than Bowtech doesn't compete. It just comes down to how much you value that .7lbs you are saving in the overall picture. The deadlock and timelock are the best integrated tuning systems in the industry and you could specifically argue the flip disc is better suited for most shooters than having to choose/change specific cams and mods. All that to consider on top of the Carbon One X being $100+ cheaper than PSE.
      I am not particular at all to carbon bows, so take my opinion with that in consideration. If carbon options were the same prices as their aluminum counterparts, they for sure have an advantage, but in the current state of the industry, carbon is purely great marketing to expand bottom lines.

    Looking at the specs, there is no advantage to the Carbon bow in their line up. Weight is the same. All other technologies the same as Core SR or SS. Explain why people should spend the money. Because your hand won’t get as cold for $600 incremental. This review hasn’t addressed the elephant in the room, just a brief statement.
