I've used EveryPlate a lot, at two different times. They are the best price, but you do have to sort everything and make sure nothing is damaged or missing. Customer service (very easy chat feature) always gave credits for future orders as a resolution of there were any of those issues. In my 2nd round with them, they had made several significant changes. You have to pay extra to upgrade the protein (steak, shrimp, scallops, etc) or veggies (beiccoli, asparagus). So after a while the menus got repetitive (or at least quite similar). Lots of chicken, pork, rice, potatoes, & zucchini.
I've picked up a few Home Chef kits at my local Kroger that we've liked, so I think I'll give their delivery service a try.

Thxs Owen....I am a Hello Fresh customer for 2 years now....after watching your videos I tried EveryPlate......I would say they a compatible...Tho the price is good...its more the selections and the variety .......After the initial few weeks of EveryPlate , we will using both.....Yes , It will be cumbersome ordering and canceling weeks between the 2 ...but it will expand our options...

I have tried both. Home Chef is better in taste and also quicker to make. Every Plate is cheaper and you also have to get 3 meals a week minimum. I have videos on my channel on both meal kits if you want to check it out.

Your vids are super helpful! I am thinking of just getting meals from a meal kit service for when we vacation. We don't like eating out more than once a day, so this way I can have easy options to whip up at the airbnb, hopefully easy enough that the kids can take over in the kitchen. We are paleo leaning, so it's been tough finding a service that fits our diet. But on vacation I'm willing to make exceptions.
