The way she talks about her career seems so honest and heartfelt. You know her food is amazing because she takes so much pride in what she's doing. But all that meal prep 😯 y'all, i'm doing good to make sure my teenager has milk in the fridge for cereal 🤣
She’s very structured and precise in her routine and regimen and that’s sometimes all you need to be successful. I wish her nothing but continued success :)
Yes, it’s truly like that with most things you need to show up for. It’s the same at university, you need to be structured, have a routine and stick to the things you have signed up for.
I wish her the same, and looking at this it wouldn’t surprise me if she managed to expand her business.

it would be nice but her schedule is already rlly full, and that would just be more work, bc if she uploaded videos she would have to record and edit the videos. That would be rlly hard to do.
@@marivicpusag3365 definitely i agree, but if her youtube channel took off then she could do less and less private cooking and more YT (and probably make more money in the process). i love her energy and enthusiasm. imo there is a market for meal prep content that looks good, tastes good and is manageable to make by the general public. no idea how she'd manage to fit YT into her schedule but it may be something she should consider, she'd be awesome to watch

People talk about role models, but this is exactly the kind of role model young people need. Sure she's experienced some "unicorn" type situations but she spent FAR more time talking about the everyday grind and drudgery aka she talked about *real life*. Bravo. I hope this bit of exposure lands her a cushier job do less work.

@@heheheha9094 No matter how good you are or how hard you work you need a major stroke of luck to end up as the personal chef to a celebrity. That's a "unicorn" situation, aka something like winning the lottery or another lucky scenario.

@@phanCAbe it's not that hard to get close to a celebrity. Literally just grind. If people in your work have X opportunity, if you grind you will likely get the same opportunity.
@@religionisapoison2413 that's not exactly true. you often get to catch an amazing opportunity through meeting the right connections. Having great skills from grinding will definitely help seal the deal, but if u don't get the right connections these things will be crazy hard to experience.
The moment she said about her business: there are days that I hate it, and there are days that I love it, I knew so is 100% truthfull, what a great inspiration, and such a gorgeous girl, I wish her good fortune, and loots of successes.
This is why, as much as I love cooking, I could never be a cook or personal chef or anything like that. Just, the sheer amount of time and effort and labour required to pull it off, and doing that constantly...not everyone can manage that. Kudos to those who can, but I myself keep my cooking personal.
I’ve also thought about going into the field many times but I don’t want my passion to be burnt out by the stress and long hours. I think I’m fine learning to cook at home making my family, and myself happy with what I create. If anything I think I’d do part-time at a cafe or something
I absolutely appreciate this type of work. I worked quite a few years in the kitchen, and the stress eventually took me out. Being a personal chef seems like the best of both worlds. You're responsible, but you're also the one creating the menu with the client. I still can't imagine going back to cooking for living, but this type of stuff, this type of content, makes me appreciate the field. I'm a Butcher manager now, and I'm happy. I'm still with food, I still have employees, I still make things happen. But the end result is no longer on me. And thats also after 6 years of being a fish monger lol. Life changes all the time.

Hi do you mind sharing why you wouldn’t go back to cooking for a living? Just curious because I have been thinking about going into the culinary field
I feel the same way about going back to cooking! Never really had someone speak my thoughts this way lol
@@PaoPao901 hard work, long/late hours, low pay, and I say this as someone who has been in kitchens for almost 20 years, the industry attracts some of the worst people you’ll meet, but also some of the best. As you get older the ability to tolerate “the worst” goes down.

She cooked for Jackie Aina's family for Thanksgiving and the food I saw in those IG stories looked divine.
I love the honesty about having your dream job. Nothing you love to do comes easy and you might not have all the time in the world but every accomplishment is extremely empowering and rewarding. I’d love to buy one of her cookbooks!!

Thank you Tasty! I've never seen anything like this on UA-cam when looking for the reality of it all. Being a chef/cook is not for the weak. So much sacrifice but still so fulfilling.
I just came for recipes but wow I couldn’t stop watching her. I love her energy, the comfort, confidence and passion she exudes as she speaks about her career. Also she was very thorough so now I’ve left with great insight into this profession.
She was an absolutely delight to watch. Loved her energy and her candidness about her every day work.
