I have been using EasyPlate for almost a year now. I love their meals, but I found that they are basically the same meal with names. Now, when I get my box, I take recipes and bag them together and put them in the refrig with the name on it. I freeze all the meat until I'm ready. I have collected all the menus, so now I can take the recipe, buy the ingredients, and buy to cook from. I agree the food I very good and cheap.
I actually find putting everything in 1 box is more space saving than 3 seperate bags. Just pull what you need each night after looking at your meal card
A helpful review. I just ordered my first box, and was curious what I'm getting as far as like, "mashed potatoes"? Do I get 4 potatoes and have to prepare mashed potatoes? Looks like it. The promo offer was too good not to try, but it almost looks like they are saving me from grocery shopping, and reducing my food waste somewhat. We'll see. Thanks for the heads up.
Why is it so much cheaper than other competitors? Everyplate doesnt provide butter or ketchup, etc but what else enables them to sell at such a lower price?
I've tried other meal plans like HF and BA and I could ask the other way around as well for some of the meals. Why is this so expensive!? I'm gonna give EP a try and see just how different it is. The having to sort ingredients isn't a big deal to me at all but I'm curious to see the quality. I've gotten some very iffy produce in the expensive kits before.
@@xpika13x I'd say the average price comes out to about $10 a meal.....Yes, its more expensive that doing it yourself but cheaper than going out.....The best thing is ..NO WASTE and to you its saving money.....Plus it takes away the ho hum meals you make every week......
when you choose your meals it does show you what is not included. it is usually only butter, cooking oil, milk, ketchup and then salt and pepper. pretty much nothing you wouldnt normally have in the house.
@@everythingponyI guess that's why their price is lower than others. I'm okay with that since those are just the basic things that we usually have at all time.
Sounds like a great idea for people who struggle what to cook on daily basis or only 2 mouths in the household that ended up wasting foods because you can't get to it fast enough before it's going bad/expired. Going to give it a shot. Thanks for the review!
It's been awhile since you made this video but you did a wonderful job. I keep a well stocked pantry so I dont mind using my own butter, catsup, mayo, spices, etc. I would definitely try this, since I have no grocery delivery here and can no longer drive.
My local food bank accepts the boxes and cooling packs as donations. They give out about a week's worth of food at a time and include perishables and chilled items, so they make good use of them when handing out food to people. Call and ask if your food banks do the same! Re. ingredients, I usually split them into separate bowls immediately when putting things away so I can just grab what I need for a recipe later.
I've been using Everyplate for about 3 weeks now. 3 meals per week for 2 people. I like it because I get to make something I normally would never make. One or two I didn't care for, but mostly they turn out delicious. Recipes with steak and seafood are premium and cost about $5 more per serving so I haven't tried those. I stick to pasta/rice, chicken, beef, and pork recipes just due to cost. There is more than enough per portion and the cost is fair for the taste and convenience. It usually takes me a little longer to make than the recipe card calls for, but I think I will get faster after doing this a while. In the past I would look up recipes, buy lots of ingredients that I may only use once. They end up expiring in my pantry/fridge. Everyplate only sends what you need.
We have been using it for months and we will continue for the foreseeable future. We have our favorites but we try new things all the time and they are most always great, at the very least decent. Occasionally the pork portions aren't great and need trimming but it's not always that way.
@Amp661you would want to be at a satisfied level so by the time you finished off with desert or drinks, you'll be full-blown, that'show I do it. If you're full-blown before that, then you'll be in food coma stage which doesn't feel good. Lol
Money doesn’t matter. I just want to be able to put some thing in the microwave or oven and not have to prepare my meal. The money part doesn’t matter because it’s being prepared for me and that’s money right there so I’m not a cheapskate and I don’t look at the price of a food bank cheaper if I went to the grocery store. What I’m saying is going to the grocery store waiting in line, checking out, driving home, bring in the groceries in, like time is money and a lot of people don’t realize that but I do and I don’t care how much it cost to have someone send me a professional mail delivered to my home. That is priceless and awesome but I’m gonna continue shopping because I think this is for 20. Somethings with not a lot of money, so what delivery meal plan Service would be good for a 40 some thing that has their life in order?
This company is a joke. They sent my box out and it was delayed. When I called about the delay, they lied and told me the box had been damaged and that they sent out a new box. Come today, said box arrives and it's the damaged box, completely thawed with busted open freezer packs. I call Everyplate and they say "we have a few options for compensation..refund or we apply what you paid towards next weeks box, but we cannot issue a replacement box..sorry for the misinformation"...That is not misinformation it is lying! And that is not compensation! This box is trash now and does my family no good. Moving what I paid towards next weeks box and not offering a replacement is not compensation!!!!!!

Only idiots order something like that i was one of them recently. They send raw garlic (unpeeled), raw carrots, raw potato unpeeled, packets of sauces, and meats. When they say 30 minutes for cooking, it actually take an hour. I still have 4 more meal kits left. Not sure if i will use them. U gotta think of ur purpose before u order this. U want to cook bUt need guideline and save the hassle of picking the ingredients from the market? Then yeah, go for it. For me, i tried it to save time cooking w various menus per week. It does NOT save any time. Is it cheap? Whatever this guy says, it is not if u do calculation. U get a huge discount on the first 3 orders. Then it becomes expensive. 150 per 5 days for 4 meals per day. U might think thats 20 meals. Thats cheap. But u gotta think of portions. The portion is not big. For a guy, a meal from them may not be enough. If u get a meal delivered, it can last 2 meals at 20 bucks. At same 150 dollars, u can order 7.5 deliveries which equals 15 meals. So everyplate's 20 meals vs take out's 15 meals at 150 bucks. Looks promising? Then u r an idiot. Cuz u didnt think of all the damn ridiculous time u will have to spend cooking. U'd be better off just ordering food. I write this based on assumption that u have small family or just urself to feed. If u have large family, then i dont know. I tried home chef as well and it is also not worth it. I cursed so much during cooking from both companies. I will never use the silly meal prep again. If u have so much time in hand, go for it. But for me time is far more valuable than money. And know that i am good at cooking.

How much is it for 7 days of food? It doesn't really say on the site.
Do we need to pay for the subscription every week or month ?
weekly
Would you speak of cheap how much is it per week for the two serving? And how many meals per week?
2 servings with 6 meals is $68.55 (I only know from looking for my mom) Obviously the price goes down from there!
Only bad thing is there's no way to put dietary restrictions for example I can't eat pork but there's no way to guarantee I won't get any
I think there are ways to swap out proteins - at least that's what they say on the website, but I haven't really tried it yet
Is it gmo free?
Great review thank you
I use it, every thing he says is pretty 100% true! I really like using Every plate the food is really good and that price is un beatable
