We got a Sonic and a Mega Man (X) Pack for Minecraft, my two favorite franchises! I didn't play the Mega Man one yet and the Sonic one had flaws and took some time to get used to it, but it still is really cool how these packs got a lot of efforts put into them. Like they tried to adapt the gameplay to reflect the original games, unlike the Mario Pack for example. And I actually think Mega Man X fit way more into Minecraft than Sonic, with the FPS gameplay and all (and the fact that Capcom aknowledge MM X give me hopes for the spin-off franchise AND in life in general). Oh and I wonder if you could play this game on VR, it would be so cool to fight bosses in that 3D Boss Room, and like that intro stage and hub would be fantastic to navigate through.
Oh and now I want to try that MM 8-bit Deathmatch so thanks for letting me know about the existence of that game

Update: I tried MM8BDM and my god, IT IS a masterpiece. I thought it boiled down to a reskin of Doom that you would play Online, but no! I played hours with Friends (it took me some time to learn how to host a server), but most of my Time on the game was spent in the campaign, because yeah it features a Solo mode, which is actually the main attraction! You have amazing bosses, a cool story using lore from every game (like during chapter 4, I was shocked), but the best thing is the details and the amount of creative thoughts put into the game. Robot Masters' personnalities (Which seem to be inspired of the Comics/Powered Up Remake/MM and Bass Descriptions) and interactions (Chapter 2 was really cool for that); and how they adapted the levels for an fps arena and the weapons! The weapons, which sometimes are overlaping and straight up time stopper or screen-clearing stuff, were perfectly rebuilt for this genre, it really is mindblowing. So yeah i'm rn in the middle of chapter 5, and you should totally play it!
In my opinion, I think that sting chameleon in this version is the easiest I actually beat him before chill penguin.

Which is better. Mega man 9 or 10. I like 10 much better bc the difficulty isn't unfair

Should have done Megaman Legends. Would have been a better conversion and its slower gameplay would have served this platform better

I tried this mod and I love it so far, and yeah I had to agree with you that they drop the ball with platform jumping mechanics but thats my only complaint with this game other than that I’ll say its worth it because I’m in love of this beautiful pixel art background they made in this mod, I wish there were more megaman X mods like this one, and all they need to work on is the dashing and jumping mechanics and then it would be perfect 👍
For me the platforming is fine. My problem is it's not letting me switch weapons.
@@luigifaniac1312 i recently having the same problem as well actually, it happened out of nowhere and one time I was out of bounds at the infinite death loop and the Megaman HUD was gone, I was swimming in lava I couldn’t escape the level and no matter how many times I died there was no game over and I kept spawning out of bounds and I was forced to redownload the mod, and yeah the game broke big time

@@luigifaniac1312 I just delete the world and redownload, Idk how to explain for pc gamers, I play Minecraft on my switch, since I bought it I don’t have to pay it again to reset the world, I’m still new in Minecraft, I started Terraria way longer than I did with Minecraft, I may not have a capture card for the switch but I can use my tablet to record my gameplay so I can show you what I mean If you want to
@@rydrake9509 ok something's definitely wrong with pc minecraft cause I deleted the world and then created a new like you and it still wouldn't let me switch weapons.

now imagine playing a full mmx game in doom.
would make for a great fit aswell since both are focused on run-and-gun gameplay.
minecraft was not built with this type of game in mind. (or really anything with a focus beyond exploration/building lol)
