    So i just finished this repair and learned the hard way...make sure both sides are lifted. Otherwise theres too much tension. Also...very odd but none of the 12mm bolts would come lose until i played Boot Scootin Boogie by Brooks N Dunn...though the PB Blaster may have helped a bit. I contribute my success to the artist stated above.

    Chefs kiss edditing my guy! Way better than trying to explain it. I have one request. Can we get either a symtoms diagnostic section of videos or a "customer states"? That helps from us throwing parts at it potentially.❤❤

      Thanks for the comments. I understand your thoughts with the "customer states" concept. I use to do a lot more explanation regarding troubleshooting and diagnosis but found the average UA-cam watcher would take their car in to the mechanic and have the mechanic tell them what needed fixed and give them an expensive quote, so they would look it up on UA-cam to see if it was worth doing themselves. Essentially, I have transitioned to more of a "video-Chilton's manual" format to shorten the length of the video.

    I have a 2006 model. Made in Australia. The bushings look different. Has a flat end on the one side.

      The 2006 was at the very end of the 5th Generation Camry. It would not be unusual to have a newer style of component.

    Would bushings have been enough?

    • @InsaneOil
      @InsaneOil  9 місяців тому +1

      Yes, bushings would have been sufficient. At first inspection, I suspected the stabilizer bar was in worse shape than it actually was. In doing the repair, the original stabilizer bar was fine, but I had already ordered a new one.

    I have a 2003 solara with some rear suspension loud clunking. Do you think a bad bushing could be the cause and just replacing the bushings will fix it?

    • @InsaneOil
      @InsaneOil  9 місяців тому

      I would probably recommend first looking at the Rear Sway Bar Link, ua-cam.com/video/29vLRCrMAqQ/v-deo.html
      Then possibly do the bushings
      Then take a look at the Rear Struts, ua-cam.com/video/7WtYnPS77pk/v-deo.html

    How do u edit those video with different color? It’s really cool

    • @InsaneOil
      @InsaneOil  8 місяців тому +1

      I use a combination of Premiere Pro and Photoshop. I export a still frame into Photoshop, trace the object and delete the rest of the still frame. I then color the object solid green and add a 50% opacity. I then import that frame back into Premiere and overlay it over the existing film.

    Can't seem to find the rear stabilizer bar for sale anywhere, could it be called something else?

    • @InsaneOil
      @InsaneOil  8 місяців тому

      It was difficult to find… I put a link in the video description… However, I had problems working with this company as it took them eight weeks to mail it to me… you might be able to get by with just replacing the bushings if you’re stabilizer bar is in decent condition
