You might be able to eat dog or cat but I think you could get in trouble for slaughtering them, even if you did it as humanely as possible. If you can get in legal trouble for starving or beating your pet I dont think slaughtering your pet for food would be permissible. I'm sure there is some loophole but I would suspect most prosecutors wouldn't have an issue bringing charges against someone who ate their pet. Either way it's gross. I know its cultural conditioning and arbitrary for me to be grossed out by it but we are intimate with dogs and cats in a way totally different than stock animals like cattle and it just feels wrong.
Growing up a family friend had a raised several more local big cats. He had 2 mountain lions and 2 or 3 Bobcats as well. I use to wrestle with 1 of the mountain lions when he would have it out walking and stop into my dads shop. We as a family also had the occasional deer, coyote, skunk, racoon, and fox.
Then next town over guy that owned a local roach coach motel along I-70 guy had several lions tigers and bears caged on his property that he neglected. It took a drunk guy stumbling into the area he had said animals and stuck his arm into one of the tiger cages and had his arm promptly ripped off. Then it was found guy had no licenses or anything for them and everyone acted surprised even though everyone knew he didn't and knew he treated them like trash.
What happens when you go to sell your house but your grandfather is buried in the backyard? Do you tell the home buyer that they’re buying your grandpa’s grave? Do you disinter your grandpa and take him with you? Unless you own a large family farm that’s been in the family for generations… And even then, come on.
Most of the time it’s the opposite kids who are disciplined like that usually have more discipline and behave better. The bigger factor is how the parent handles the rest of the relationship because the discipline without the love causes problems. But it’s just not as simple as you think to say oh because it’s legal and this rate is higher they are connected. An example is saying ice cream causes domestic violence… people actually thought that but it wasn’t the ice cream it was the heat. The ice cream increased because of the heat and the heat also increased anger tension and amount of time spent home and led to more domestic violence. It’s called “correlation is not causation.”
The one problem I have with this is that spanking in corporal punishment should really not be allowed because a lot of times parents go too overboard and it can quickly turn into a classic case of excusable child abuse, as well as many other traumatic issues like not feeling safe around your parents because they went too far such activates PTSD whenever they're around their parents and it's the parents fault for the PTSD in the first place if that does end up happening! So I do not believe that corporal punishment should be legal still because of how dangerous it can get and for those of you who don't believe me trust me I've been random to walls intentionally and several other things just because of being disabled so I have a lot more injuries that people don't see because they've all converted into PTSD!
Honestly, my parents used a baby walker with me (age 26) and my 3 younger siblings (youngest age 12) and my parents logically used it on the main or ground floor and only under supervision if we walked away they went into the playpen or the electric swing they had then. Common sense people, common sense.

I live in Wisconsin. Here, it's perfectly legal to own a kangaroo even if you don't have a permit. In most of the US, owning a kangaroo is either illegal or only legal with a permit, and in only 2 other states other than WI can you own a kangaroo without a permit.
Also: owning of sound suppressors for firearms in most states, sure it's regulated as a class III NFA item so: you have to be at least 21, and go through fingerprinting, and a separate background check, and fill out a ATF F 5320.4 (commonly referred to as a "Form 4") if purchasing or a ATF F 5320.1 (commonly referred to as a "Form 1") if you are manufacturing one for yourself, and pay a $200 tax, and wait anywhere from 6 to 18 months for the ATF to get back to you about whether or not you were found worthy of using a different type of hearing protection. **Then** if the ATF approves your paperwork, you can buy or manufacture ONE, with each subsequent purchase having the same steps as the first Don't forget that you also must notify the ATF when you take it across state lines, and make sure the state you are traveling through hasn't outlawed NFA items like California
In the State of California it is legal for motorcycles to travel pass a car using the same lane on a two or more lane road or highway, but no more than 25 miles an hour over what the flow of traffic. The reasoning is many bikes are air cooled and if they get stuck in traffic, they will overheat and die. I've done it WITH Moto Officers too. It was really weird since at that time I had just over back here. LOL, I felt like such a rebel 🤪
A few years ago a woman peered into a man's window and saw him making coffee in his birthday suit. Instead of the woman being arrested as a stalker, the man was arrested.
Growing up in Houston, my brother was allowed to drink after 18 at a restaurant so long as accompanied by a parent. This became a problem when they didn't believe he was part of our family. (We were adopted and he's dark skin tone) This law was changed within the following years.
While I knew about the cousins thing (mixture of both red and blue states there with even California allowing it and a couple of southern states disallowing it...er, as a “fun fact”), I did not know about the stepsiblings thing. Makes sense, though. Also FYI, in some states, flamethrowers are not only legal but less regulated than firearms. It’s because they’re rather effective at dealing with bee swarms and hives. But do try to only use one as a last resort! Bees are very important to the environment as they help new flowers grow!
Sleeping in your car may be legal but most areas you can park are private property and you can get in trouble for trespassing. I lived out of my car during a rough time in my life and it wasn't easy finding safe and legal areas to park for the night. Rest stops were the safest. Most rest stops in the states I've lived have a six hour time limit for parking which isnt strictly enforced so you could usually park when the sun went down and not be hassled through the night and leave in the morning. Even if a cop were to hassle you it's easy to claim that you are travelling and started to get tired so for safety reasons had to park at the rest stop and catch some sleep before getting back on the road. No cop would want to risk someone falling asleep behind the wheel so aren't going to ticket you or shue you away.
Having also lived out of a vehicle for several months, Walmart parking lots are 100% open for drivers and truckers to park and sleep. It's in their policy. Hope this helps someone!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Exactly. Sometimes this channel spreads misinformation
And really there’s no such thing as humane slaughtering. They don’t just slip quietly and unaware into death.
@@the-queenmaleficent7727 exactly right. Humane slaughter is an oxymoron
I was hoping that they would talk about how it's legal to own a tank.
It is
A new correction the Roadkill Cafe is open in California now but you were correct up until recently. Now I'm scared to eat anywhere.

What happens when you go to sell your house but your grandfather is buried in the backyard? Do you tell the home buyer that they’re buying your grandpa’s grave? Do you disinter your grandpa and take him with you? Unless you own a large family farm that’s been in the family for generations… And even then, come on.
I mean it's got merits just like the video infers. If someone wants to be buried on site, well let it be provided it can be done I am not right?
Thank you
How can anyone eat dog and cat 😢😢 imma hiding my floofball
What is the difference in the the young adult crime rate, between states that allow paddling in schools and those who don't?
A better question is how did the kids who were paddled turn out versus those who weren't?
I use to be so nervous to tear off the tags, wasn't sure wtf was gonna happen
Can you do a UK version of this
#12 is tha definition of 'WHAT'RE YOU DOING STEP BRO!?'
What’s with the guy with the brown trench coat.
11:29 Obviously after you buy it you are allowed to tear it off. LOL
Honestly, my parents used a baby walker with me (age 26) and my 3 younger siblings (youngest age 12) and my parents logically used it on the main or ground floor and only under supervision if we walked away they went into the playpen or the electric swing they had then. Common sense people, common sense.
None of these are really surprising, except being able to own a giraffe lol
Guys it’s illegal I know because of the sketchy person that is shown every Fukien second
0:31 wait what are they doing with those monkeys lol
Tf is that thumbnail
Cannibalism is the one that surprises me the most when it comes to "should be illegal but isn't" stuff.
Just to inform: radar detectors are illegal in Virginia not West Virginia. Also, fun fact: Virginia cops actually have radar detector detectors to prevent people from having them.
I feel personally called out by the cartoon woman in the background holding the sign that says "autism is unacceptable." LISTEN LADY IM DOING MY BEST ALRIGHT!!??! 🤣

For everybody outside of UK and the us the "you cannot slaughter horses and you cannot believe you can eat them" is wild. I live in a city well renown for it's horse meat specialties
My dude, autism isn't something you have, you either are or aren't autistic. Secondly, many of us don't consider it a disorder, but rather society is built and catered for NTs

Radar detectors are illegal in Virginia
7:06 friendly reminder that autism is not a tragedy and we don’t want to be cured :)
Not to mention that whole research project was debunked and the Lead scientist went to jail for fraud.
A cut off mattress tag also voids your warranty.
Number one having that light on in a car

9:12 PRO TIP: If you've been drinking and need pull over for a nap, take the keys out of the ignition. Automatic DUI if keys are in the ignition started or not
“Hey kid want some free snakes?”
**Then** if the ATF approves your paperwork, you can buy or manufacture ONE, with each subsequent purchase having the same steps as the first
Don't forget that you also must notify the ATF when you take it across state lines, and make sure the state you are traveling through hasn't outlawed NFA items like California
there was the value of pie where the child was standing ,at 9:09 lol
2:11 in the UK if you hit a deer you can’t eat it but if someone is driving behind you they keep the dead deer
«Thing you thought were illegal but are perfectly fine”
Turning on the light inside of the car
In the State of California it is legal for motorcycles to travel pass a car using the same lane on a two or more lane road or highway, but no more than 25 miles an hour over what the flow of traffic. The reasoning is many bikes are air cooled and if they get stuck in traffic, they will overheat and die. I've done it WITH Moto Officers too. It was really weird since at that time I had just over back here. LOL, I felt like such a rebel 🤪
You can’t own a bear in massachusetts lol
A few years ago a woman peered into a man's window and saw him making coffee in his birthday suit. Instead of the woman being arrested as a stalker, the man was arrested.
Just within a few years back roadkill became legal here in California. Up until then yes, it was illegal.
Wait a second. In some states it is illegal to be in your car drunk?! So if i get drunk, then i can't ask someone to drive me home with my car?
It is awesome to watch infographics show I like what would happen if you didn't brush you're teeth for 1 week
I've seen some mattress tags that specifically except the end consumer from the "Do not remove under penalty of law," statement.
I have yet to see one that _didn't._
Small fact is that in 2007 the US ban the sale of horse meat only because the USDA found it to expensive to inspect with it being such a small market.
fun fact in finland you can own an a axolotl
Bees are very important to the environment as they help new flowers grow!
you can't describe america in 12 minute video
the infographics show:observe
This would be really interesting if you did it about UK laws
Exactly. Sometimes this channel spreads misinformation
Having also lived out of a vehicle for several months, Walmart parking lots are 100% open for drivers and truckers to park and sleep. It's in their policy. Hope this helps someone!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
