Jonathan Majors pleasantly told TMZ that he's "heartbroken" by the news that Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom will be the new villain of the next two "Avengers" movies, effectively replacing Kang the Conqueror.
Marvel fired Majors in December, the same day he was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault. His villain, Kang, was created as the new Thanos of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and would feature prominently in "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty," which has now been scrapped and replaced by "Avengers: Doomsday," starring Downey.
“Yes, heartbroken. Of course,” Majors responded when TMZ asked him if he was hurt by the new direction Marvel was taking. “I love Kang. However, Doctor Doom is evil.”
TMZ later noted that Downey was being given the opportunity to lead more Marvel films despite his own history of legal troubles. Downey was arrested in 1996 for possession of heroin, cocaine and an unloaded gun and received three years of probation. He faced many other legal problems in the years that followed, causing some Marvel executives to worry about casting him as Tony Stark in 2008's "Iron Man."
"I think it's only fair that Mr. Downey has been welcomed with patience, curiosity and love... and that he will be allowed to work [his] art and be creative at that level," Majors said of how Downey received a return despite of legal problems. "I didn't really understand that." Have you been asked if he wants to return to the MCU as Kang? This is how he responded "Hell yes! Hell yes! I love it. I love Kang, I love He Who Remains, I love Victor Timely," he said. "If that's what the fans want and that's what Marvel wants, then let's move on. Of course."

Yeah, Timely was randomly killed off and at the end, there was a weird reference to the TVA finding all the Kangs. Seemed like stuff they did in the last minute because of Johnathon Majors’ arrest.

I've been saying this for months, way before rdj was announced to be coming back. My theory is that he's a stark variant, a kang variant, or some hybrid middle ground (akin to iron lad). Either way, both characters are insanely smart, and I wouldn't be surprised if this concept happens.
If Doom is just a Stark variant, I’d be so disappointed.

Kang gets his tech from old Doom tech in the future, that’s how he first is able to travel thru time.
Again, Kang = Doom in the MCU. calling it way before it happens. Doom will be like "Kang Prime" or some nonsense. who knows.
Nathaniel Richards(Kang) is a Descendant of the Richards an Doom Bloodlines. Everything he has was Built by Them. The Weapons he use are based off Stanetech not Starktech.

I can see the TVA reporting all Kangs were destroyed in post credits. The TVA then shows Doom on the screen.
Kangs cannot die because they are versions of the Creator.

Doom should be revealed to be inadvertently responsible for the creation of Kang and his variants through the creation and use of the time platform. He takes Kangs' existence as an insult to his honor so elects to clean up his own mess and eradicate him from existence. Doom also inadvertently releases Kang Prime from the probability storm he was trapped in at the end of Quantumania. I'd love a scene in which Kang Prime confronts Doom and states "I am the heir to your legacy." Doom responds "There is no legacy but Doom" and destroys Kang.
No. Kang doesn't deserve to be sidelined like this. He's more than that.
The Doom that came to Kang
This doesn’t at all feel like establishing Doom as a threat. This feels like marvel saying we screwed up so we need to rush Doom for secret wars. Agreed you can’t do it without him but just call it what it is.
This would be a better way to handle Kang's fate than a throwaway line from Mobius in Loki.

I Think It's Quite Possible Doctor Doom Transports a Nuke To The Counsel of Kangs colosseum and it detonates killing the entire Counsel.
It would waste such a huge potential. The council deserves better. At least keep them in case they decide to bring them back.
I want Kevin Fegie to shock audiences by bringing back Thanos but not to antagonize them but to team up with them and for us to see Doom do his now iconic moment from SECRET WARS 2 when he rips out Thanos's skeleton from his body.

In the original Marvel universe earth-616 dr doom and kang team up against with other villain teams against the avengers the x-men and fantastic four and many others but they did fight each other in the end because they betrayed each other in the comics
during the council of kang meeting prior to battle world doom can just send a molecule man and blow himself up in the universe while preparing for a fight with beyonders which he gathered the last few remaining molecule man of the universe and blow themselves to the invasion / reset wont happen thus doom absorb the remaining excess power and use it to make battleworld where he rule as a god , thats one way for doom to 1 shot mutilple version of kangs

Honestly I would do the post credit scenes kinda like Thanos, but I don't think they have the runway. Also Doom wouldn't need that much time realistically. So I think this would be awesome. FF credits roll then there is a little bit long mid credits scene. Starts out with the FF, and some off hand mention of Doom. Then it shifts to Doom walking into the council of Kanes. All over the shoulder focused on Doom. He says has something to say and they will listen. He only needs x minutes. The x is however long the rest of the credits roll. After the credits we see Doom walking through the bodies. The pan up obscure the Kang variant's faces. When it gets to Doom's mask covered face he should say something. In the comics Kang is a Richards. Not sure the audience would get it if Doom said he was superior to any Richards. So probably say something that sounds epic but funny. Maybe have Doom walking up to some type of energy. In the comics Kang variant's were always given the means to gain proper heights of their power. It's kinda touched on at the end of Loki season 1. It sounds Cool for Doom to take everything the Kangs had. Since we don't exactly see the action Marvel could say one escaped. Recast him down the line. Have him use one of Kang's other names or make new one. Then leave it a mystery with occasional clues. That way the character is kinda benched but the door is open. Hell leave it totally in the air. A blink and miss it thing. Then bring Iron Lad into the MCU. He is a Kang variant. Just let that part of the story on a slow simmer. Doesn't matter. What does matter is that Doom is every bit the way he is in the comics. Like he pretended to be controlled by the purple man until he got close enough to tell him no one controls Doom.
That would make sense, and then have him face-off with a Tony Stark variant in Secret Wars

I don't believe you can use them and sweep away the cane for in a little short deleted scene or in a credit scenes it's going to take an entire movie just on that. But if you're able to do an entire movie on that then you can do an entire movie of change still be in the biggest threat and then doing slowly rising up in the course of three to five movies. Either way they need to resign the actor who was going to play Kane and get that story arc rap up while at the same time and separate movies Bill Doom up as a major threat. But then should not be someone who has anything to do with the Kane character being abolished. It just will we can the Doom character if you try that without fairly flushing out who came really is cancel wise in the various variants.
I really didn't like that they removed Kang, Kang was a very good villian with a very good actor. Fuck politics, we don't care as fans about how the actor behaves outside of the camera, I only care about his work, I won't befriend him.

Ever since the unveiled Doom, I been hoping that they show a bunch of kangs grouped up, making plans, and have a big explosion or lightning strike and take all of them out but one, lying on the floor looking up as dooms foot comes down and crushes his head. Pan up, show dooms face, eyes glow or....something, doomsday logo, begin movie. 👍

Still think it would have been neat if a Dr. Strange variant was Doom. Especially since the Illuminati saw Strange as the greatest threat to the multiverse. I think RDJ is going to do well with the role, but I also woulda liked the potential for Cillian Murphy.

Imagine this: The marvel title sequence plays. But instead of the marvel theme, it’s an eerie background sound like Infinity war. There are static sound is the background then we can here the TVA reporting the kangas are dead. While this sound is playing Victor Von doom is stepping over the corpses of the once successful council of kangs. Every Kang is dead. Like what happened with Thanos and Asgard.
The asgardians were not meant to be the villains of the infinity saga. the council has so much potential and it doesn't deserve to be wasted like this.

Doom has never stolen the Heart of the Universe. That story was all about Thanos, and Doom was punked in the beginning like all other time travelers by Akhenaten. He also has never stolen an Infinity Gauntlet. But he was given 2 Infinity Gauntlets that the Council of Reads possessed by Valeria Richards as a gratitude for standing against Mad Celestials.

Yeah, bring back Kang. Doctor Doom does not qualify to be an overarching villain, he's should just be a one time fantastic four villain. But honestly, the MCU have been super comical after Endgame. Up to Endgame everything was serious, but now there's breaking the fourth wall and all these nonsense. The Beyonder as the overarching villain make more sense, if they have to replace Kang.
Honestly, Doom should've been the Secret Wars villain in the first place! That's how it happened in the comics. Kang is such a stupid choice in my opinion.
