don't worry about aztecross bro just do you. i find myself watching your old videos all the time. you go into great detail about your builds and the thoughts behind them. your creativity keeps me coming back. and you don't make click bait videos. keep up the good work.
the change to point contact is that the lightning bolts, aside from doing more damage, now also grant melee energy. Previously, only kills with the the actual clap (like what the melee without the exotic does) would grant melee energy
@@itztizzlehey tiz. I’ve asked this many other places but I have some friends coming back to destiny that haven’t played in nearly a decade. Where can I find information on ikora s starting new light kits? I can’t find a list of the new light kits anywhere lol
@@burningblaise ikora gives out 3 quests that gives a decent exotic armor per class. Each new light kit gives an exotic weapon. Riskrunner is given in a quest if you follow the new light quests, so don’t get arc. Sunshot is for solar and graviton lance is for void. Both are extremely good right now. Sunshot really only shines in pve though. Graviton is used every where
I was a huge fan of raiden flux with arc staff 3000 years ago during the red war era. I member the super used to last *forever* Excited to see how it changes in anno domini 2k24
Arc staff can stun two different champion types alone, so yeah, it's gonna be destroying champions with raiden flux even more than it already was. The aspect allows jolting after dodging and hitting the third attack in the basic combo or slam attack blinds, so it deals with both overload and unstoppable champions. I don't think it can stunlock barriers anymore because of the changes they made to nightfall enemies a long time ago which made them harder to stun. Hopefully it comes back because stunlocking was a big part of arc hunter's identity in general.
Also, does anyone remember when ascension was basically another arc staff attack in the beta? Strange how they remove such things. On another note, I've been loving nova warp lately with my handheld supernova build with a void wave frame ergo sum with robot grenades and volatile rounds. The robots kinda suck, but it's funny to watch them scatter and they work with volatile rounds. Not the best build, but very fun; and don't forget the destabilizing/chain reaction edge transit. Love the explosions. It's a blast in altars of sorrow or general play whenever I'm bored. I value fun more than anything in this game and making more fun builds lately has helped me enjoy it more.
Great video. I have a Verity's build I think you should examine. Prismatic Warlock. Verity's Brow, Polaris Lance, solar heavy, Lost Signal, Feed the Void, Bleak Watcher, Healing Grenade, Arcane Needle, fragments and mods to taste. I can get as many as 4 turrets on the field without any issues. Sometimes as many as 6 while playing solo. Really, this works with any grenade as long as your energy weapon matches up, so I also like Graviton Lance and Vortex Grenades.
I really don't understand why Song of Flame is not included in the roaming super buff list. I get that it's strong and that it is more potent than daybreak that needs a lot of help. But it's still a roaming super and it's literally on the same level as Glacial Quake in terms of dmg, utility and stun capabilities
Song of flame has some extra support features that other supers don’t - like granting allies DR, Radiant, and scorch to their solar and kinetic weapons
Gonna stack 3x dealers choice, power preservation, alpha lupi, and blade fury with the call. My titan is going to shit orbs every super and I’ll be casting them by the minute.
Raiden Flux Arc Staff has always been my favorite super. I used it to solo witch queen campaign on legendary and it was my go to for the first onslaught. Now it's going to be even more insane. I'm all here for it. I already have my build crafted for it. Just waiting for the content drop now. I'm interested to see how this will affect the Ager's Scepter with Battle Mantle build since Winter's Wrath will be even more frequent. I can't imagine it will take any more than a few seconds to get full super now with that setup.
It’s nice for them trying to bring back the power of supers (mainly roaming). I think most of us agree that outside of boss DPS and the shenanigans of your team doing what ever they want if you just cast Song of Flame but don’t really use it… the super seems like the least important of your build. Depending on you ability they creep on super level damage and/or add clear. Your weapons are very strong and/or support your regular abilities. Kind of falls into weapon surge category . Currently who cares 99% of the time when you can get health and abilities back with your orbs instead.
As a vesper of radius enjoyer maybe having more uptime on storm trance will offset how weak it is and take me off song of flame so my rifts can blind again.
I feel like it's pretty big that it affects 3 shot goldie tbh, and getting 6 shot a massive amount of the time might make me play some more hunter. All of the roaming supers are decently strong (besides poor spectral blades and stormtrance if it can't get going from some trash mob kills) and having big uptime on these is so sick!
100% and as long as you can manage ammo/have ammo mods, use it as a primary and blind everything with that one fragment that special/heavy kills = blind + artifact perks for extra damage/ionic traces 😈 ** spark of beacons I think
@ross6789 yup, Spark Of Beacons is what really makes it shine. The biggest problem you had was the paltry damage against Champs with Tickle Fingers but that's about to be a thing of the past. 👍
@@patrickoakley7890 im glad cos outside of trials which I begrudgingly dip a toe in for weapons every now and then. The thing with the Point Contact changes I'm most curious about, is how much of those changes will carry over to the "spirit". Intrigued by Raiden Flux, it alongside the Arcbolt exotic, I haven't used since way back when.
Hoping we get some more specialized changes to roaming supers. These are a great start, but some supers are just too bad to be fixed by this. Fists of Havoc/Hammer of Sol without sol invictus are just horrid.
Even though it will be better against Champs, yellow bars will still be tickled by it, same goes for Stormtrance. These changes will be fun af for something like Onslaught, but I still see no point in taking them over Song of Flame. Stormtrance literally needs jolt to be applied by just holding the button, not just by landfall
I’m curious if storm dancers brace is going to be a play. I like running the exotic just for having a good ad clear super and dense environments and after all those kills, I get a bunch of super energy back. Excited for the Point contact buff affecting the Spirit of Contact to pair with spirit of Inmost light. Gonna be able to spam abilities even faster 😂 Also Hammer of Sol got a buff at the start of the Season to do big damage and now we will get it way quicker. STONKS ARE UP BOYS!
I doubt the changes to the gauntlet will affect the spirit version, the only part the class item takes is the jolt on powered melee hits. But if it does, yeah the clearing with it will skyrocket
