My wife and I were there also. Congrats on the great CS Tongue. Great collection of finds. All the spots were new to us except two. We may have found more if we had known the hot spots.
I found a CS tongue here in Va also. The wreath part was not with mine either. I have gone back there about 4 or 5 more times looking for it but no luck yet. Good job! My son's friend found a wreath next to my property which belongs to my brother but there was no tongue with it. I have many other buckles, US, VMI, clipped corner, US sword plate, etc. I have only been hunting for a few years and have a collection that most people find in 30 years. I don't even use a pulse machine but probably could get even more if I had one.
Never been to one of these digs but have worked to perfect my digging skills to respect the owner's property. It seems like most of these are dug haphazardly and don't see holes carefully refilled. Does the video not show refilled holes or is that the norm?
@@RelicsRings so glad to know. I have heard some digs recently people had left them and owners were upset. Also, so many newbies trying to learn and wanted to pass on precaution to them to fill the holes. Interesting finds l, thanks for sharing.
Me and my boy are working a civil was camp she union way North east Ohio many great civil war token s coin s and eagle buttons artillery shell fragments and a few belt buckles can’t believe we found a virgin site in 2023 we will work this field until I die
My rarest find was a topographic engineers shield off a horse confederate With CSI written in old English cursive writing so rare no other found offers over 4 thousand dollars on many occasions I denied
It means it wasn't fired. The bullets came with a paper cartridge filled with gun powder. They just had to load the paper cartridge through the barrel, rather than everything independently.
Just amassing how many minnie balls have been dug and are still being found 😁👍
Awesome find! I found one in, I believe, that same camp several DIVs ago, long before GPX. Congrats!
Incredible. Thanks for taking the time to film all these digs. Just awesome.
Nice work!!!!
That is my #1 dream find right there!! Awesome video man!
Thanks, yea a dream come true for me.
My wife and I were there also.
Congrats on the great CS Tongue. Great collection of finds.

I don't think there are really any hotspots left. You just have to pick a known area of occupation and work it.
I knew what you found right away! Oh my!!! Congrats!!! Rk.
Thanks it was very unexpected
Wow buddy! I'm super happy for you and super jealous!
Heck of a hunt bud! you pulled a nice variety of relics...CS tongue is killer!

A lot of awesome relics! Congrats on the CS tongue! Too bad the wreath wasn’t there ! Nevertheless , awesome hunt! Great video, thanks for sharing.
Believe me I looked for it and it actually could still be there as there is lots of fence wire and fencing staples at this site.
What kind of detector are you using??? I want to go to a DIV and I use a Nox 800
Minelab GPX. Equinox will work but is going to have limited depth.

Holes are filled to the standard requested by the land owner.

W hat do you mean when you a bullet has been dropped.
