- I took a last minute metal detecting trip to a new permission, and I was blown away at how many Civil War relics I was able to find in such a short amount of time. I've got a feeling this place is going to be a highly productive site, and my XP Deus II is the perfect machine for the job. Bullets and buttons and buckles, oh my! #metaldetecting #history #treasure #civilwarrelics #civilwarhistory
I believe the round thing with the hole through it is the swivel on the lower arms of a 3 point tractor hitch,
Thanks Tom. I had a feeling it might be farm equipment related. 👍👍
Let’s go let’s go treasure and adventure 🇺🇸✌️🌺💕👵
Heck yeah what a great hunt. Nice find on all the Civ relics and score on the flying eagle cent. All the best John.
Thanks John!
That's a fantastic permission you have there!
@@davidallison2112 yes sir! It’s been a nice one, but until the next generation of detectors come out, I think we’ve hit “rock bottom.” 😩
Another great video. I believe that was a hollowpoint cannonball 😂. Anyways, awesome saves. Looks like another good area.
🤣🤣🤣 I thought maybe the fuse was missing. Thanks man. I’ve got a good feeling about this site.
Throughly enjoyed this video! Great finds! I look forward to seeing what else is unearthed on this property!!
Stay tuned! 😃
Man, nice digging, brother! We look forward to the next dig in each video. It's like we're right there with you! Congrats on the Flying Eagle!!!
Thanks man! We need to get together for a hunt soon while it’s nice and cool 😎
@@reliclife We definitely do! If we could break away for half an hour, I'd be down there. Or get permission on sites here, ya'll come on.
Awesome hunt, congrats again on the flying eagle. Kenny
Thanks Kenny!
I sure enjoyed this video, thank you
I’m glad you did, and thank you for watching!
Flying Eagle is cool, but I would take Civ relics over coins all day long! Great finds, thanks for sharing!
Thanks! This coin was found on a Civil War campsite, so technically it’s a Civ relic 🤣
Nice work!!
Thank you!
I got a field found a few US buckles and a few Eagle buttons but no bullets do you think maybe soldiers just walked through this place are maybe a local veteran
If you found buckles and buttons, there should be bullets close by. How many of each did you find?
@@reliclife I got one Union US Buckle and one US Plate that held down the leather bag so the wind would not blow it open many IHP 1862 to 64 to infantry Eagle buttons one eagle general service button 1864. Small cent I mean small mono two cent coin of artillery shell never seen nothing like it I don’t know 3 inch lead to it still Like pointed top got about an inch copper on the bottom
@@reliclife two fig tree eagle buttons yeah like I said bar 3 inch talk to it and then about an inch on the bottom copper and then and then in the middle it’s like lead interesting so one hole I got the US belt buckle still got quite a bit of lead on the back of it. You can see one paw paw and the two corns in the 2 cent 1864 same hole and then at artillery bullet Marchelle whatever it is, it’s pretty big
@@reliclife I did get a Spencer bullet out of there recently I believe this is gonna be our third year working in the field.
@@reliclife I wish I knew how to share some pictures on here
💪💪💪
Nice
Possibly a chain shot.
Thank you. It turned out to be a piece of farming equipment.
Hard to watch when camera is not on subject.
I’m working on it. The sun was so bright I couldn’t see the screen on my GoPro.
