My man didn't show the Thunderlord lightning strikes because he doesn't want the fact that it has 40000% Fireteam scaling get out before his team can sweep all raid WRs
Mixing and matching sounds like the intended way to play, anyways. I think thats the secondary reason that Wolfpack Rounds only for for other legendaries, and not exotics. Its interesting to know what stacks and what doesn't, Im gonna encourage my buddies to try to mix and match during dungeons to see what combos really well.
From my own experience, different dots stack with little to no issue, great way to visualize is using a melee that applying scorch with necrotic grips. Both damage tics will happen. It works similar to how he said 1 of each wave frame works together no problem but multiple causes problems.

For Bleak watchers it should be noted that while you don't want a ton of Bleak Watchers, if you do not have people using chill clip / conditional / other stasis effects in the damage scenario then having two per "boss" is the ideal amount -- As two of their firing bursts is enough to insta freeze. Anything above that is just wasted grenades. Even with manual shatters, they'll all still fire at the same time and do basically no damage. There is unfortunately no consistent way to have them time their shots so one will freeze after another.
Art is in the Negative Space too. They don't tell us how to make the public events heroic too. There is a dual benefit to making a curious player, and not bombarding folks that don't read their screens much anyway if they can help it with more to not read.

Funny you mention necrotic grip not stacking - not only is this true, but the poison DoT effect is also removed by applying the stasis frozen status. Not hugely important for dps but it keeps me from using my favorite exotic with stasis ):

Aegis, do you think there's a viable strat to use Winter's Wrath for damage with Bleak Watcher? You could potentially skip the freezing attack to shatter twice in a row and preserve more of the Super's duration. Obviously it won't be a viable DPS strat, but it could be fun.
Only thing I'm curious about is SE exotic. How it will count threadlings? Will it count teammate one's too and stack faster? Probably not worth testing.

Chunking is an informal term, I use it to refer to when the boss' health bar (often in chunks) goes down in larger amounts than indicated by the damage numbers on screen or on the wipe screen, usually happens as a result of huge damage quantities (either in projectile/hit count or raw damage output) I have never seen what I would call "chunking" be a negative thing, although there are instances of weapons doing less health bar damage than they should based on wipe screen (quite rare)
If you want a really clear example, the recent Ballidorse issue is one, or you can watch any damage test where I shoot Thunderlord or another high fire rate machine gun

@TheAegisRelic it's a shame that baildors is in the naughty corner. Also, in the interest of testing, could you test the interaction with chaos reach geomag being buffed with titan phoenix cradle sunpots.

Depends on the damage source, for stuff where it doesn't stack pretty much at all you'll see no change, for stuff where it can stack but it's dependent on stagger timing, that assumes your team of 3 is staggering twice as well as the team of 6
When you talk about different sources for the wave based weapons, do you mean weapon type sources (sword,bgl,hgl) or specific sources (dimensional,hullabaloo…)?
Yeah those three aren't really controversial, jolt has a universal rate limit and is always the same value now (no source-based scalar), same with the other two you mentioned :P
I use cvars.xml to rebind jump and air move to 4 so that I can press 4 > LMB > 4 for an easier time, the timing is still tight but less inputs, but besides that, yeah just practice On warlock the same method doesn't work but because glide is less sensitive to you eating your jumps a lot of people use scroll jump to pull that off

Oh, I'm not quite sure but if it's anything like the other freeze sources here, only one person would get the forced shatter damage and everyone else would just get the base melee impact damage
The best way to use Dragon's Breath based on my testing is to embed it into the boss, but ensure that it's on the underside/bottom part of the boss so the scorching ejections spew upward/sideways into the boss' body
your titan axes testing made me think "why are abilities that debuff the target themselves never tested with a debuff already being applied from a different source to have an actual damage increase/decrease/stacking from whatever source?" like when threeshot tether is tested, you could just use a tractor for the first shot, or use a void buddy or whatever other weaken ability for the axes.
This video is nice but most of the time you don’t have be 5 of the same class in any content where damage matters. It would’ve been nice to see the results for 2-3 of the same class/ability/damage source

I think it would need further testing. It depends if bosses are limited to one dot source or only track one of each dot source

Each non-scaling DoT in the game can stack with a different one mostly fine, you just cant double up. No double scorches/ignitions, witherhoard, etc.😊

I probably won't test it since Prismatic fragments tend to be very straightforward when it comes to damage, but maybe in the future
