Below I have listed the Tool Bag and Tools that you see me use personally in my videos. By using these links it doesn’t cost you anymore however by doing so you are helping the channel grow.
Thanks for the support!

(This isn’t the megger I use personally because the one I use is old and isn’t available anymore. I recommend this one because its similar and does the same thing).

Fit the straps first to indoor unit before the return , then you can remove the return air plenum on your own to get to the barrel fan.
I agree, it’s so annoying when installers don’t do this.
Must of been a tech who did his trade in 90 days. Fast track Cowboy 🤠
Just put a banging kit under it before you have to change a motor or what ever else
Mitch,, I shal wait for the follow up board change video 😊
Hi, Mitch. Thanks for the upload. I have a question, these inverter aircons using DC fan motor and DC compressor, Shall I measure DC current or AC current if I want to check their current. Can I use DC clamp meter? I know it's a silly question. I'm a newbie. Thank you.
Hey mate, you would ideally use something that measures DC current. Not all multi meters do this but hopefully your one does. If not, you can always use an AC clamp meter (they normally still give you a reading) but to answer your question, you should use a dc meter on dc components. Cheers
Just the other day, I repaired the same outdoor unit as this electrical circuit.
Even though there was no command, the fan rotated alone and an E3 error occurred while driving.
Even during the stop, it turned out that the compressor sends electricity to preheat.
And the electric circuit was the same as the fan.
I found that there was a small DC volt in the fan during the preheating time of the compressor.
However, it works without commands, so I noticed that the board in the fan was broken.
Everyone else told me to replace the inverter board, but I replaced the fan motor and repaired it.
Then, the condensation temperature dropped and the E3 error was fixed.
Just came across your channel. So u have a video that goes through those basic checks of the fan motor , and eev, just what readings u should be getting ? Cheers
