LOVE YOUR OPINIONS GUYS. Rachel must have an apology for the coments she did in the past. And i am a fan of Snow White but i dont understand WHY they dress up like that, the dress looks awful and the hair she looks like Lord Farquad from Shrek
They had to change the colours because she's not a Snow White (cool and white) type. She's an Autumn type and therefore they changed the dark jewel toned blue into a warmer and lighter petrol blue, and the buttermilk yellow into a sunny warm yellow. The hairstyle doesn't even resemble the 1930s (or the 18th/19th century hairstyles) - don't know why they did that ...
too bad the dwarves arent even dwarves :( there aint no way disney couldn't hire people with actual dwarfism for this. Its probably already hard enough for them to find a job in the acting business, especially when it come to big productions like this.
I know some people don't think its a big deal, but it kinda is. 1. people with dwarfism would have had an amazing opportunity for their career, and 2. disney wouldnt have had to spend as much money editing the actors to LOOK like dwarves (which would have made it look 10x better)
Peter dinklage opened his dumb mouth and said he didn't want those with Dwarfism to be looked at as silly creatures. So Disney didn't hire them coz he said it was offensive
Why would Rachel apologize? She never said she hated Snow White. She only said that she was afraid of the film as a kid (which made sense because Snow White IS one of Disney's scariest films). She also only repeated what Gal Gadot first said (Gal was the first one who said that she won't be saved by the prince). Her comments may have come off as smug but she never hated Snow White.
They’re trying to keep the trailer as close to the cartoon version as possible to attract people. But I’m confident the movie in itself will deviate into something stupid and woke
As a German, I can tell you: THIS has nothing to do with Snow White! It's a shame that Disney is allowed to call the film that! Bad casting, the Evil Queen is more beautiful than Snow White, the dwarves look so weird, the dress is ugly, the singing voice to deep and harsh, uncanny valley CGI - why even bother to make a live-action film, when it's all CGI? Disney invites me? Thanks, but no thanks. BTW: it's not bashing, when you have a negative opinion based on facts 😉
I see your point but isn’t what makes snow white the “fairest of them all” the fact that she’s beautiful inside and out and the voice thing is maybe done because the original was a bit too high and it really doesn’t sound harsh, and the dress is almost as accurate as the original it just has long sleeves! Lol. However, I admit the dwarfs are bit uncanny to mee too

I AM SO EXCITED!!! I love Snow White❤ I love Rachel! I am so happy for this movie, and i think she's perfect for the role. Also, the movie comes out on my birthday month.
First of all your opinions are both valid but i get the sense that people are being too harsh on the movie and it being similar to original is great because the story was not bad to begin with, and the other remakes didn’t change much in terms of the story or the plot. I saw alot of people saying the dress is different and this discussion is always there every time and it was said regarding the cindrella movie of 2015 too cuz they changed the dress but the current version seems more accurate and it didn’t too drastically change. We have to stop nitpicking honestly and just wait and see.
We just saw a reaction video from a family with children. That shows everything. You can cry about woke whatever you want. The children loved the trailer. That’s the reality.
The trailer can be great, but if the movie is a woke bag of crap full of propaganda messages to kids, MY daughter won’t be watching. And the actors have already said it will be so that is actually the reality.

They turned one of the happiest tune, "Whistle While You Work", into a funeral dirge. Absolutely dreadful.
