Hey everyone just a reminder liking this video is completely free and helps me out quite a bit as well as subscribing! If you want me to go more in-depth on a specific idea let me know in the comment below!
Something that I've seen gets heavily repeated in the building community is the lack of blue blocks. There's a disproportional amount warm tones compared to the cool tones with the lack of blues being the most highlighted example of this. I think it will probably take a couple of different updates to add the all different shades of blues that the builders want. There's also a lot of complaint for the lack of stairs and slab for cooler tones. No green and blue slabs and stairs. This might be a good mention for a part 3.
This is actually a really good point, we could definitely use some cooler tone building blocks, I think having a green or purple wood set would probs come in the end, I’m definitely gonna keep this in mind thanks for the feedback!
@@TechbotHimself Actually, I've been thinking about this. Since we know, Mojang is willing to sacrifice accuracy for a more fantastical coloration when it comes to wood (e.i. cherry blossom), They could introduce olive trees for olive colored wood. We don't really have any mediterranean biomes unless you count savanna. We also have can introduce mulberry trees. Mulberry are a very important trees to many culture across the globe. The bark is stripped and is used to make paper in cultures such as china, japan, korea. Polynesia uses it to make barkcloth. The mulberry berries are often attract a lot birds. These berries are also used to make purple dye. Silkworm/Silkmoth, one of the oldest domesticated species exclusively eats mulberry leaves. The prospect of adding a very unique pet adds another point to Mulberry's inclusion on this. Obviously, the wood would be recolored to being mulberry, the color. For a different shade of purple we could could add Wisteria. Recoloring wisteria trees to have wisteria colored wood is the most logical to me. Since wisteria trees grow near lakes and river, perhaps this new biome should be dubbed Wisteria Riverside. So for green and purple, it doesn't have to be in the end. By recoloring the wood of real life trees we can have them in the overworld as well.
@@vigenere-key_kokabuterimonOh my god. Real purple wisteria stairs would make my East Asian builds pop out so much more (some of the roof shades are usually close to dark blue).
@@vigenere-key_kokabuterimon Honestly dude these are some fantastic ideas, I would love to see more biomes inspired by different geographic areas around the world, I think more varying biomes like you mention would be great. Thanks for the comment, you got some great ideas!
For the lush caves, does anyone else think that having to find a certain thing in the overworld (azalea tree) to locate them is a bit primitive? Why not make lush caves the standard caves in the jungle biome for instance?
I would enjoy a small drop that sort of prepares the game for a bigger dungeon update, but its like missing pieces, some stones have pillars, chiseled, bricks, tiles, etc while others dont, as well as deepslate variants of stronghold and other similar stuff, that way they can move that into a bigger dungeon update
Although I do think the mushroom island could do with an update, I think the moosrooms are actually quite useful. They give you infinite food. All you need is to take one home in your boat, and use it for suspicous stew.
Chest variants could be made by shift right clicking a chest with bark if they ever add a drop from stripping trees (I haven’t played vanilla in a very long time and am used to mods giving tree bark)
Underground biomes I feel kinda need match up with the above ground counterparts, we need like a sandy desert cave with mesage varient and a cold ice cave, along with a crystal and fungal cave, and maybe an infested cave with higher spider drops and also just a slimy cave which removes the whole nuance of slime chunks.
@@BigMastah79 While true there is already biome dependent differences. Mountains are the only biomes with Emeralds and Mesas have a hire Gold spawn rate. At best atleast give the biomes like a nicer transition between the surface and the caves instead of just sandstone on stone, even if its only for like 15 blocks.
@@somebodykares1 Sure, I can live with that. The thing with biome dependent features like Emeralds and Gold is that they are still very close to the core experience. Entirely unique biomes kinda goes against MCs formula a bit.
this might be just me… but i would love a new villager profession, one that basically makes them a quest giver. it could be cool for them to just ask u for certain things and that way once u complete the tasks u get rewards. only way it would be a good thing is if the rewards get better as the villager levels up. like first level the reward is like 5-10 emeralds per quest. second level gets u a few different enchantment variations and like 15 emeralds for some quests. point is that once the villager is at master level, the quests r as hard as they can get(but not too hard) and give rewards like netherite scraps, rare armor trims, phantom membranes, etc. so basically the higher the level, the harder the quests and the bigger the rewards.
The desert already has a custom sky color, also if you were to add different variations of chests for each wood type you wouldn’t be able to use multiple types of wood when crafting anymore.
Parts of the game i want to see updated: -Combat update -End update -NPC update - making animals and monsters smarter, with better path finding. Giving more variety (in looks and behavior) to mobs like zombies, cows, pigs, sheep, similarly to horses and rabbits. -Structure update - overhaul of existing structures, monster thematic spawner structures, new procedurally generated structures, implementation of challenges like parkour, traps and redstone contraptions, mini-bosses. More frequent use of mining fatigue like in ocean monument to discourage avoiding challenges. -Alchemy update - there should be a potion for every effect in a game. There should be a less cost effective way of creating tipped arrows before End. There should be a progression - potions that can be made before entering Nether, after entering it, and after conquering End. -Creative mode update - more freedom and tools for creative mode - preferably modeled by Kingbdogz's Orbis Mod -Custom difficulty - when creating a world there should be a list of difficulty settings that change game's mechanics, in a similar way to "Heat" system in Hades. Settings like: "health doesn't regenerate naturally, outside of sleeping and potion effects", "burning is permanent in Nether", "poison effect can kill you", "zombies can destroy doors, and blocks related to the tool they hold", "Spiders shoot webs" "higher chance for a monster to spawn with enchanted gear" etc.
Honestly, more concrete blocks, like concrete stairs and slabs, would be so good since the whitest there are are quartz stairs, which stand out far too much when used with concrete
It would be great to add Burrowers mod to the game. It is very vanilla mod, good way to make caves more interesting (they are like villagers, but more interesting), they could be fir example a preview of deep dark update because of their corelations with sculk.
Can you make an echoing void update video where you talk about it's biomes: Chorus Forest, End Wilds and End Basalt, It's Mobs: Watchling, Snareling, Blastling, Endersent, It's Structures and more?
What blocks/items have the most options for crafting it, cause for that last update idea I can only think of the chest, furnace, both bookshelves, smoker and maybe crafting table (I say maybe cause I don’t know about it personally but I could change), the I don’t think the blast furnace really fits since it’s mostly iron but maybe there’s a work around but besides that are there any more?
In the first half of this video, you only focus on what needs the least focus from Mojang right now. If the jungle is the most fleshed out biome, then Mojang shouldn’t focus on that now. Also, they have just focused so much on caves. Now they should focus on fleshing out other things like the less fleshed out biomes, rails, combat. Edit: your suggestions in the second half of the video are interesting and good though.
We need something else to use xp on and a revamp enchanting system because everytime i play mc i end up just making a end farm and getting max netherite in one or two days
I think we need more atmosphere for the game, enjoy the visual experience, and a GRIZZLY bear!!. Why do they never include a natural shader to the game?
I think something like more special events like the skeleton horses spawning with skeletons so like a hord of mobs could come for you like in the trailers

Me waiting copper to oxide for green blocks :(
I built a house with warped plants

Chest, furnace and crafting table type variants along with a revamped Mushroom Fields would be great as a update.

While not entirely the same, but I feel the same way, quarts bricks for example doesn’t have ANY variation, no stairs no slabs no fences, anything

You mean mushroom stew, you need a brown mooshroom for suspicious stew
True that, I do still think they could use a bit more though as most players will likely get there food in other ways
@@someonehavinganidentitycrisis oyeh my bad

Putting a stripped log with a chest in a crafting table could work
a fauna and flora update would be so cool, an update just for revamping plants and mobs

Don’t think is such a great idea, all biomes should provide a pretty similar experience.

kinda makes me sad that we won't get any of this

I will love to see an carnivorous plant in minecraft like venus flytrap, cobra lily, pitcher plant etc.

Cool video! I would add combat, farming or an enchanting update as my top 3 and I would like to see ur ideas on those
All good ideas, i definitely wanna see a combat update eventually and honestly all three would be awesome
Out of all these update ideas, the one I want the most is a jungle update
such a good vid man, liked it a lot.
quite sad this hasnt the views it should (and how we wont get anything you said 😭)

We need a Music update where you have more Music blocks and a recorder block so we can listen to themes we've made.

I definetely wanna cover that in a future video as there’s a lot of content to discuss there!
inventory update. maybe an option to sort the inventory or combine stacks
Honestly just let alexander mobiles make the updates from now on.

hard agree on the crystal & mushroom caves
please add those mojang (also like more cave biomes in general but i really wanna see those two)
although i think i'd rather the mushroom caves be like, a lime color
purple would be fine too though
Also we need enchantement for the shield,
It's shame how the fishing rod has enchantements and the shield does'nt
Im still mad cuz the pale garden is an overworld biome and not a cave biome WE do need more, the surface has +50 biomes
Awesome suggestions of the biomes in the minecraft future updates maybe Techbotgameing 😊❤
