  • Join Mark Nichol as he takes the Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport for a spin on a glorious road in the Lake District. No ordinary family
hatchback, the Insignia VXR SuperSport boasts a V6 2.8-litre turbo

Given the car it is and how it'll likely be driven then that's to be expected of any quick car. You really need to drive mindfully to get good economy and stay away from the loud pedal, unfortunately.

Buy a vectra vxr instead and save £5000. Better looking car with the same engine.

Fwd, boxy rear end, inside it doesn't look nice...bit 90's. So wrong place to save for me thanks. That's my opinion.

Insignia far far better in every way than the vectra .

Paul Thomson so u say. Far too heavy. 1820 kgs for the saloon, that’s the same as the vxr8 with a 6.2 v8. And from reports very unreliable. Il take the vectra vxr thanks. In Arden blue.

@Jason Prendergast the vxr is nice but it’s too heavy. 1820 kgs. The vxr8 is a much bigger car and it only weighs 1880 kgs, and that’s got a 6.2 v8.

@@paulthomson9709 I absolutely disagree coming from experience I own 3 VXR's. The Vectra VXR is definitely the most appealing
