I couldn't find a main board anywhere online, so I've baked my main board for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. It works great, if I have to bake it again then I'll be happy to do it.
I wanted to save time, so I had my local pizza place slide my flat screen in to their oven. It came out great w/the pepperoni on top. Two thumbs up👍🏿👍🏿
You said lot about not to bake but did not mentioned about where to get the new board. now can you please provide information about where to get the board.
Help. I have the same problem. After the TV is on for a while working fine. The the screen goes black. Turn off the tv wait a second or 5. Turn tv on and works fine for a while then black. I can get picture every time I do the off and on trick. When black with a flashlight I see the picture is there but back light is out. TV is a LG 47LW5300-UC.ACCZLUR. 8 years old.

I turn-off wait few minutes and turn-on again and its works normal. Some times after hours of using happen again. Some times happen every like 10 minutes, When this happen I have to un-plug from power and wait few hours, then the tv go back to normal. QUESTION: its the main board that cause this issue?
It's a simple reflow. You could do it with a hair dryer. Actually a lot safer with a hair dryer

I've done this for my tv and it worked for about 7 months. I just did it again a few days ago and it works again

It is worth it. I’ve done it and it gave my tv an added 3 years of life before having to buy a new motherboard.

Mine worked for 4 yrs after putting it in the oven and now it needs to be done again. 4yrs is pretty good

LG 65EG9600-UB. It was turning off and on then it just stopped turning on.
I think its best to bring the board to a bakery
Or evan your local pizza place there ovens get hotter

I have the same problem with my Philips smart tv i think that the backlight of tv is a problem not the main board.
If you did bake it and it did work then you would know getting a new main board would fix you tv. I may try this cause my tv is dead otherwise.

It depends from where you take it to repair it.
I got 2 LG tv's that died the same day. Clearly programmed death. But baking them wont work when they were programmed to die the same day.
Not lg cx it melted the optical input and didnt fox the board
