Unbelievable. I feel like i work for a professional company after doing that. I literally cut the tape and straighten the wires out, gave up because there was nothing else i could do, closed it up and doubted it and BOOM, wifi was turned on, searching and connected. Appreciate this video 10/10
You are now a professional tv repairman! Would you mind please giving the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It will help me reach more people so I can help them too. Thanks!
Holy. Shit. It fucking worked... I did it literally in 5-10 minutes. The main connector was bent exactly like you said. You should create a venmo for tips. 🙏
This fix was so absolutely simple, but it gave me and my family MONTHS of anguish and frustration. THANKS DUDE, You're the real MVP! I'm never buying an LG again!!! 😂
This method is still valid in July, 2024. I have been trying to solve this issue, watched bundle of videos but all in vain. Finally came across this video and Boom everything worked. Thanks man, u made my day
exactly the same thing here. I'm really wondering so many people seem to have this problem but simple googleing only leads to absolutely ridiculous official LG FAQ sites ... they don't want you to repair your expensive LG TV!
This video makes fixing this issue easy. The last time I did this, the WiFi worked for a year. The WiFi recently disconnected again and I have to repeat this process. I’ve learned to never buy an LG tv again.
Thank god I found this video. I wasted 1.5 hours trying all these other videos doing resets and switching locations blah blah blah. Did exactly what this guy said and bam fixed. I bought this used for really good price and now it’s works perfect! Thank I subscribed just for help couldn’t find anything on the internet to help, Great job sir!
I moved this TV to another room and tried to activate WI-FI for the first time. I can't believe the support that says reset router, TV, etc. All unnecessary. Your are a God. Thanks!
I spent MONTHS researching how to fix my wifi connection issues. Don't know how many times I restarted the modem, router, unplugged TV, tried changing networks, turning location off, calling help centers and Googling methods. I was about to plunk down another $500-$700 to get the same type of TV. Took me 20 minutes and I'm back watching Netflix for the first time in almost a year on my TV. THANK YOU!!
You helped me solve a months-long problem in just a few minutes! Prior to watching your video I tried everything including buying a new router and I still could not connect. I did just exactly what you demonstrated--took off the back of the tv, straightened out the wires, taped them in place, reattached the back and danged if it didn't work! Thanks so much for posting this.
Same for me! Months of frustration finally at an end after I opened mine up and adjusted the ribbons. I can’t thank you enough to to finally have this problem fixed.
I’ve had my LG tv for two years, randomly tonight it stopped working out of the blue, for two hours I tried all the typical fixes like resetting my WiFi router, unplugging and plugging back in the tv; I even went as far to factory reset it, and nothing! I was so distraught googling answers until I stumbled upon this video. I popped open the back of my tv and found the wires just like yours, kinked on top of itself. I straightened them out and voila, tv worked again just like that!! Thank you so much for saving me from having to buy a new tv!
Just had this problem on my LG uj6300. Carefully took the back off, cable was badly twisted. Straightened it carefully and taped it down. It worked immediately after putting it together. Thanks.
Thank you so much for the SUPER THANKS! You’re the first person to use that button. It’s actually my first super thanks ever. I’m glad the video was able to help you fix your tv!
Omg my husband and I just did this to our lg I can't believe it!! IT WORKED!! Thank you so much i was about to throw this thing away lol. Only had it 3 years! 🙌🙌... thanks again! 👍👍
Congrats on fixing your tv! Would you mind please giving the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It will help me reach more people so I can help them too. Thanks!
Yooouuuu legend, helped my friend fix his TV after months of frustration. Tried new network name, password, router, everything. This worked it wooooooorrrkkkkeeedddd DO IT and if you're nervous STILL DO IT, do it now!!!! The energy in the house is finally at peace, thank you TV Guru you've made many people happy with this video.
Aaaawwww thanks! I’m no guru… Just a guy that was frustrated and had nothing to lose. I spent days researching and problem solving. I had to try something so I just went for it. Glad it worked for you!
I have a 70 inch LG with the same symptoms. After removing the back panel, I had to removal an additional panel across the bottom covering the wireless connections. Unkinked all the wire ribbons and she connected right up to my router. Thank you for posting this.
I might have the same tv as you with the same issue of no wifi. Can I remove the addition panel across the bottom of the tv while it's standing or do I have to remove the legs and lay it down?
With the back panel off and laying facedown, I had to remove the legs to release the cover. The wire ribbon was threaded through a support on the cover. Flipping the cover over made it easier to release the ribbon from the support.
@@CharlesYamabe not yet. It's a 70 inch tv and it's pretty heavy. I need some help to get it down and then some space to lay it down flat without damaging it. You think a pillow in each corner will do the trick to keep it from damaging when I lay it down?
Antonio, my wife helped me lift ours off its console. We set it down standing up, moved some furniture out of the way, and then laid it face down on some blankets. Most of the screws were the same size, but I kept sticky notes of which went where. Once the back cover is off, per Charles excellent instructions, the additional cover has four deeply recessed screws as well as the leg screws.
It worked. Most difficult part was getting the cover off (no wonder it wasn't shown) - but fairly straightforward from there. What a relief, and HUGE thanks for this.
This actually works!!!!! We’ve had so many problems with our LG disconnecting from our wifi it was causing us all anger issues. I still can’t believe we opened the back of our LG and went through with this whole process. As soon as we turned it back on it was connected to our wifi. Holy mother of the universe I cannot believe after two years this was the friggin problem - crimped wires. Thank you, thank you for sharing.
Yeah it’s an easy fix... But should we really have to go through all this? Since the video helped would you mind giving the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it helps me reach more people. Thanks so much!
Hey hru? I was seriously having issues with my wifi. Decided to get on you tube. searched and came across your channel and when I say it was a 100% FIX, MAN!!! my problems are solved, WOW!!! Thanks my brother from another mother.
7:00 pm. I'm 61 years old, been in remodeling for over 44 of them, doing everything under the sun, and have done numerous appliance/tech repairs as well. But I have to tilt my hat to this guy putting on this video. After watching it twice, I cracked mine open, did what needed to be done, as instructed,,,, and omg, it worked! Hats off to this guy saving people all over money that otherwise would have given to some schmuck who wouldn't be as nice as this guy was to put it out there ,,, for EVERYONE to use, learn from !! Salute to you brother !!
Yeah they used to be such a good company. I don’t know why they are sending out TVs with issues like this. Anyway I’m glad you were able to fix it. Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. Thanks!
Unbelievable! I spoke to an LG representative last week. They asked me to do the usual, reboot, disconnect and to do a factory reset. Didn’t want to do a factory reset as a last resort. I had rebooted and disconnected numerous times. Saw this video and took the back off of my tv and voila! Straightened all the bent and kinked cables and it connects. Thank you so so much!
Congrats on the fix! It’s frustrating not to be able to use the WiFi. I’m glad it worked for you. Since the video helped would you mind giving it a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. Thanks!
Charles...THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! I'm active duty military (Electronics Technician) w/ experience in CYBER as well! I can NOT believe the horrendous manufacturing of this one component! I thought LG was better than that! Dunno how you figured this one out, but glad you did...saved me a bunch of time, energy and money!!!
That right there is the reason I make videos like this! I’m glad to hear it worked for you. Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. The more people I reach the more I can help. Thanks so much!
Video of the year! I’ve tried everything. WiFi Router and modem, weird menu fixes and toggles, hard and soft resets, LG customer service - this video is the only solution that worked. Thank you, sir!
That’s awesome dude! Yeah other videos have you going through hoops for nothing. This is the actual fix and it’s pretty easy. If you wouldn’t mind could you like and subscribe? It would really help me out.
Dude !! This worked but let me tell you as simple as a few screws sound make sure u remember which ones go in their spots also the search everywhere for any screws you missed ! . My top portion was difficult to pry off. But be gentle . Thank you so much for this video I am honestly super happy right now
I cannot believe this worked. I don't understand why this would make a difference. I tried everything in settings that was suggested. I was ready to throw the tv out and my wife came across this video. I was very sceptical but did exactly what you said to do and now it loads faster than it ever did with no issues to the wifi. YOU ARE AMAZING! Now the only problem is... It will haunt me why this worked lol.
This worked! Thank you for your video! Out of the blue or wifi was "disconnected". We just followed your detailed step by step video and we are back online! Literally took 15 minutes including taking it off the wall! Thanks again!
I’m glad it worked for you and that you found the video easy to follow! Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. The more people I reach the more I can help. Thanks so much!
I didn't believe it would work. We've had our LG TV for 5-years. We started having intermittent problems 3-years ago. This year we completely lost Wi-Fi. We knew that it had to be a problem with the TV because the TV couldn't detect Wi-Fi signals from my or any of my neighbor's routers. So, I followed your advice, straightened out the Wi-Fi and Infrared receiver cables and reinforced them with electrical tape. As soon as it fired up, I checked the network status. It wasn't connected, but it did see my router and a half dozen other routers. I selected mine, signed in, and it now works like a champ. As you mentioned, this is a manufacturing defect. Thanks for the help. You be the man.
I’m glad you can now enjoy Netflix again! Would you mind please giving the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It will help me reach more people so I can help them too. Thanks!
You the real MVP!!! I just fixed my lg "smart" TV with this video. Had issues off and on since I got the TV and finally it stopped completely. I did this with nothing but a basic screw driver and pocket knife and I'm by no means a mechanic and it's working like a charm now
I cant believe this actually worked. I just followed the video, took the blue tape off and played with the cable for a second. I told myself there's no way this would work as it didn't even seemed like I did anything. Put the cover back on and now the wifi works again...incredible.
It really is incredibly easy. I don’t understand why LG isn’t fixing or preventing this problem. I’m glad it worked for you. Would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please “like” the video and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and helps me reach others with the same problem. Thanks!
Sir I can not thank you enough, I put up with the WiFi disconnecting all day every day for about 3 months, when I thought I would do a search on UA-cam and found your video. Your thorough explanation absolutely works. Again Thank You very much!
Thank you very much, Charles. I was a little skeptical at first but decided to try it since it worked for so many people. Great help, you stopped me from buying a new TV for now. What a great feeling it was when I finally saw the TV connected to the Wifi, you hit the nail right on the head. Very much appreciated.
Yoooo! I’ve tried everything! I’ve done the unplugging of the TV for a minute. I’ve unplugged the Wi-Fi for a minute. I’ve unplugged both the TV and the Wi-Fi. I’ve reset the location and took off the automatic location and all of that, I got nothing. Well, I stumbled across this video and BAM, it worked like a charm. THANK YOU!
Wi-Fi stopped working roughly 2 years after buying the tv. I tried every single setting, factory reset, etc, nothing worked. THIS worked, and only took about 15-20 minutes with simple tools. Thank you brother!
Awesome dude! I’m glad it worked for you! Would you mind hitting the “subscribe” button as well? It really helps me out and it helps my videos be seen by others. I’m just trying to reach as many people as possible and help as many as I can.
I did this to my tv and it straight worked, i wonder why people dont watch these kind of videos before sending it straight to service, its super helpful dude and u dont have to spend like 40 dollars
Awesome, I’m glad I could help! Yeah, I mean why not watch a few videos and see if you can fix it yourself? Since the video helped you would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please “like” the video and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and helps me reach more people. Thanks!
You are very welcome! I’m glad it worked for you. If you wouldn’t mind giving the video a “like” and “subscribing” to my channel that would be awesome! It really helps me out. Thanks!
Bro you the goat I was at my last nerve with this tv the WiFi kept going out I googled everything and finally found this video made it even easier my tv has a spot where the WiFi part comes off so I didn’t even have to take the hole back off my wires were all jammed up straightened em WiFi back thank god and this guy !!
Genius. It was really easy to take the back off. Yes the cables were bent and pressed over on themselves. Straightened out and boom, wifi is found! Saved me hundreds of dollars in repair fees. Very grateful. Thanks.
You are awesome! Almost pitched a 55 inch LG tv because this issue. Came across your video and went step by step… it works now! Beers on me! Thank you!
Amazing. My wife was ready to throw this thing out the window. Worked right away after following this simple guide. Do take note of where you take screws from. Liked and subscribed!!!
Aw thank you! Im not sure my wife would agree that I’m an angel? 😂 I’m glad that it worked for you. Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. The more people I reach the more I can help. Thanks so much!
I was so ready to blame somebody in my house. who messed with my TV I said!!! This immediately fixed my LG TV and as described the wire was crimped. Thank you sir for making this video .
It’s crazy that the wire is crimped like that. Would you mind giving the video a “like” and hit the “subscribe” button? It really helps me out! Thanks so much!
Just one more person here, grateful for your video! My tv was not recognizing wireless networks at all, and was even freezing up frequently on a direct Ethernet cable connection! It was so aggravating! This fix was so quick and easy! Thank you so much!!!
Awesome! Thanks so much. I tried everything and was about to get another TV. The fix took about 20 minutes because of the TV size (70 inch) and it was mounted to the wall. Well worth my time. It connected to wi-fi within 2 seconds. Shame on LG for not putting a recall on this issue. Thanks again!
I’m really amazed by all the people that seem to have this issue. It’s crazy that LG is sending TVs out like this. If you haven’t yet would you mind giving the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out. Thanks so much!
It actually worked. I tried all of the software "solutions" offered w/ no result. Saw multiple videos w/ this solution and figured - what I do I have to lose? I already have a TV sized paper weight. This worked! Some engineer, QA/QC guy at LG needs to be fired. Cheers to you Charles Yambe!
I freaking LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE you!!!! For weeks my wifi was not working, after hours of troubleshooting, buying a wifi extender, and speaking to support, only for them to tell me I had to have the module repaired by a technician, I was able to do this in MINUTES!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!! Everything works perfectly now.
I’m glad to hear that it worked for you. It’s absolutely frustrating when tech support is of no help. If you would like to support my channel please “like” the video and subscribe to my channel. If you would like to leave a $1 tip my Venmo is Charles-Yamabe
Outstanding👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 As an engineer, I do not understand how such a bad crimp in the cable passed QA inspection with so much room inside. The least I could have done is send out a service notice to all people who purchased an LG product with this issue.
Unbelievable! Problem just cropped up slowly after many years (poor wifi and general remote responsiveness). Fix was easy and seems to have completely restored normal expected TV operation. Hopefully it will last! Thank you Charles!!!!
Thank you! I changed my router thinking it was routers messy internet managment, but then I realized it had nothing to do with the router.... This solution worked just fine, also it was really ease to do... Now we have at home a good router and a working LG TV
That’s awesome news! I’m glad it worked for you. Since the video helped would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it allows me to reach/help more people. Thanks so much!
I followed the instructions and it worked exactly as shown. What bothers me the most is that LG, the manufacturer does not mention any of this as a problem or how to fix it. I wasted lots of time, plugging, unplugging, resetting, etc. etc. chasing this problem. Thanks for posting this video.
Thank you, this video saved me from buying a new TV. The back was more difficult to get off on my model. I had to gently break the seal on the sides by running a flat head screwdriver slowly up them. I had to use some force to open it. Once I opened it, it was exactly as this video explains. It worked for me!
Awesome video. We had our LG TV for a number of years. Then suddenly bam! No connection. The error message states turn wifi back on. I searched for a button and went through every setting I could find, and still nothing worked. I googled it and every video I came across talked about how to setup a new connection by finding your wifi. None of them were of any help, until I came across this video. Sure enough, I found a bent cable and I gently flattened it. My husband was skeptical and hovered over me as I was taking his beloved TV apart but let me continue. We got it setup and tested it to find success! Thank you so much!
I salute you big time. Your video has served me. I was on the verge of returning the LG Tv to the dealer. It took me less than 10 minutes to have it fixed. You are a mensh!
100% works, so easy to do yourself. Only struggle might be taking the back panel off if you only have screws at the bottom (a different model TV). You can just run a flat screwdriver inbetween the edges and use slight force to get that back panel off. Great video 10/10 !
Yeah it totally works! Getting the back off can be a slight challenge but it’s not too bad. I’m glad you were able to fix it! Since the video helped would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it allows me to reach/help more people. Thanks so much!

I tried this after being tired of trying everything else without success, with little faith and my husband about to kill me. It worked. I cannot believe it!! Thank you so much for sharing this!! Super simple and finally a fix!!
Having tried everything else and come to my wits end with persistent wifi & Bluetooth crashes i came across this video and with nothing to lose i gave it a shot. The relevant cables were bent and crimped but with a bit of finessing i got them into a more natural shape just like you showed. The TV now works perfectly 🤗 Hats off to you sir, you're an absolute legend!👌
Haha yeah a lot of people share pure crap. I’m glad that this helped you. Since the video helped would you mind giving it a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. Thanks!
Wow. Thank you so much for this video. I first called LG and after a factory reset she basically told me my tv needed service or I could hardwire it with an Ethernet cord. I followed what you said and it worked!!! I’m so grateful. I wish I could hug you!! Thanks a million.
Thanks so much for this - first time the wifi worked on my TV ever. When I first bought it I never tried because I didn’t need a smart TV having an Apple TV attached. The constant device disconnect messages were annoying though. Uncrimped that cable and put it back together and it works great!
It was the exact same for me. I never needed to use my WiFi in the beginning. Then when I tried it I realized I had an issue. Glad it worked for you. Since the video helped would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it allows me to reach/help more people. Thanks so much!
It worked I had the same problem when I opened the back cover of the TV I fixed the bent wire and the connection network lists appeared where as before there was no wifi network connection list. Thanks man... I can finally watch Star Wars Acolyte and other movies without any problems.
Thank you!! This helped! I had fewer screws to unscrew, and I had to pry the back panel off with a screwdriver. But otherwise, this video told me everything I needed to know!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful and works flawlessly! I raised a ticket with LG customer service for this and got a call from them. However I told them that I fixed it myself ( feeling myself as a mechanic 😀)
It worked, I straightened the folds where the ribbon connects to the clips from the mother board to the WiFi module, and boom! It worked. You’re a genius.
Thanks so much for this video!! Worked perfectly and was super easy. I tried all the other tricks from other videos and nothing worked. I was afraid to go this far until I saw your video. I figured it already doesn’t work, so what do I have to lose. Barely took 10 minutes and I was back in business! Thanks again😁
You’re welcome! I literally have that same approach when I try to fix anything. If it’s already broken what do I have to lose? Since the video helped would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it allows me to reach/help more people. Thanks so much!
So, here I am 3 years later watching this video. IT STILL HOLDS UP TODAY. They make you work a little harder for it since it’s a later model, but it honestly works. I had nothing left to lose and I just couldn’t get myself to hire someone to come out. You have to be super careful cutting the tape, take the time. Thank you for making this video! 🙏
Sweet! I'm glad that the video worked for you. Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. The more people I reach the more I can help. Thanks so much!
I got this TV second-hand from a thrift store. I couldn't figure out why they would have gotten rid of it until I realized that half the time it wouldn't connect to the wifi at all, and the other half it would disconnect after 10 minutes. This video saved this TV and helped land me a stellar deal!
I face the same wifi connection problem with my LG tv and I so worried about that and then watching your video I fixed it same as you did and it works , thanks for that you saved my pocket, appricated thanks
I had installed a network booster before finding this fix thinking that was the problem and was about to buy a new WiFi module. As advertised took about 20 minutes. Thank you so much for posting this!
😃 No problem! Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. The more people I reach the more I can help. Thanks so much!
For those in the Philippines, who are probably watching this video bcoz of their LG TV wifi problem: I swear by this tutorial, it really worked! I just followed the instructions, slowly removing the tape from the wires, and straightening it out gently making sure i will not rip the connected parts. We were really desperate with our LG TV.. it has been months, and the other techniques initially worked, until just months ago, all those tricks did not work anymore. Thank God for this. we did not have to worry about bringing it to a repair shop, especially now with the pandemic ( too scary to go out). Thank you so much once again!
It absolutely works! Since it helped you would you mind giving the video a “like” and hit the “subscribe” button? It really helps me out! Thanks so much!
I do my best to serve the people. 😂 Would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it allows me to help more people. Thanks!
It worked. I had tried all the other options, nothing was fixing the problem, so i followed your advice in detail and the wifi is back on and we're making good use of the tv again. I'm so chuffed! Thank you for this brilliant video.
Thank you so very much for sharing this fix...I was about to buy a new smart tv (of a different brand) because all the "fixes" LG offered didn't work at all. My wifi was already connected once I follwed your steps, put everything back together and turned the TV on. You're a life and money saver!!
Works! I followed these directions, but in addition to, i removed the internet card (with vinyl gloves on to avoid any skin oil getting on the card), and sprayed it off with a can of compressed air. How is it that folded ribbon wires can prevent something from working? I never would of thought it
Unbelievable. I feel like i work for a professional company after doing that. I literally cut the tape and straighten the wires out, gave up because there was nothing else i could do, closed it up and doubted it and BOOM, wifi was turned on, searching and connected. Appreciate this video 10/10

You are a genius! The WiFi on our LG has never worked, your solution was easy and immediately fixed the problem. Thank you!
My wifi had never worked either. Glad to hear you were able to fix your tv.
I spent MONTHS researching how to fix my wifi connection issues. Don't know how many times I restarted the modem, router, unplugged TV, tried changing networks, turning location off, calling help centers and Googling methods.
@@antoniorodon5542 did you try it?
I needed two hands to work it off. But once it’s off it’s easy
Thanks so much! It worked, and saved us buying a new tv! ☺️
That’s awesome! I’m so glad that I’ve been able to help people and save them from having to spend more money. 😃
NEVER purchasing another LG product
Hey hru? I was seriously having issues with my wifi. Decided to get on you tube. searched and came across your channel and when I say it was a 100% FIX, MAN!!! my problems are solved, WOW!!! Thanks my brother from another mother.
Glad it worked for you! If you would like to donate $1 my Venmo is pinned in the comments.
I had no right believing I could repair a tv, you gave me so much unearned confidence, thank you!!!
Feel free to tell everyone that you indeed fixed a tv by yourself! 😃
Worked for me. Thanks! This is the last LG television I buy.
Yeah they used to be such a good company. I don’t know why they are sending out TVs with issues like this. Anyway I’m glad you were able to fix it. Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. Thanks!
Agreed!! LG has fallen completely off! I lose wi-go connection on this TV everyday! I’m so over this TV!
Us too. We just bought a Samsung and love it
Me too!
Facts last LG for me
Unbelievable!
Oh the dreaded factory reset! I tried that myself in the beginning
I have not been able to use my TV's WIFI for over a year now! Until I stumbled upon this video. Man you're Awesome!!! Thank you and God bless you!
Congrats on the fix! It’s frustrating not to be able to use the WiFi. I’m glad it worked for you. Since the video helped would you mind giving it a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. Thanks!
Man I have been trying to figure this issue out for a long time and finally found your video. This worked for me. Thank you so very much!!!
That voice dude. You sound like you could be an avenger
Maybe I am an Avenger? 😃
I was a desperate man with a lot of time in his hands. A little trial and error and it all made sense.
After months of trying EVERYTHING, I stumbled across this video, tried it and finally got it working. Thank You!
That's amazing it actually worked, I tried all videos and none worked, 10 min in bam good to go. Good job, must use this method.
Awesome. 10 min job and super simple. Thank you!
Wow! Amazing. You are a real champion. Months of frustration and was about to dispose of $3500 tv, you saved me $$$$
This worked!
I was lost the last few weeks in lockdown and no netflix! Thank you sooo much, this worked for me x
Thanks!
Same thing happened to me. all i did was straighten out the taped wire. :)
Sir I can not thank you enough, I put up with the WiFi disconnecting all day every day for about 3 months, when I thought I would do a search on UA-cam and found your video. Your thorough explanation absolutely works. Again Thank You very much!
Glad I could help!
You are absolutely welcome! I'm glad that I could save you some money... Especially in todays economy. =)
THANK YOU!
Lol... After I did all these I was almost putting my tv up for sale then this video 👍🏽👍🏽
Wi-Fi stopped working roughly 2 years after buying the tv. I tried every single setting, factory reset, etc, nothing worked. THIS worked, and only took about 15-20 minutes with simple tools. Thank you brother!
You’re welcome! The other fixes out there can be really frustrating. This is the only one that actually fixes the problem.
It’s not very often I hit like on a UA-cam video but you literally just saved my TV. Much love brotha💚✊🏽
Thanks!
It worked, you saved me from having to buy a new tv! Thank you so much!
Thanks.
You’re welcome!
You are awesome! Almost pitched a 55 inch LG tv because this issue. Came across your video and went step by step… it works now! Beers on me! Thank you!
That’s great to hear! I have a Venmo if you are serious about buying me a beer.
Amazing. My wife was ready to throw this thing out the window. Worked right away after following this simple guide. Do take note of where you take screws from. Liked and subscribed!!!
Glad it worked for you! Thank you for subscribing!
Even after 4 years your video is still helpful
You’re an angel! I’ve tried everything and a quick 5 minutes later your solution worked like a charm!
Aw thank you! Im not sure my wife would agree that I’m an angel? 😂 I’m glad that it worked for you. Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. The more people I reach the more I can help. Thanks so much!
Bro.. I feel like I owe you money... I searched for 2 year for this answer... You're the real MVP!!
Glad it worked for you! If you would like to donate $1 my Venmo is pinned in the comments.
You’re very welcome
I was having the same issue with my wifi so i did everything as you explain the video and i was shocked that it actually worked!! Thank you!!!!
Awesome! I’m glad it worked for you. Please like the video and subscribe if you haven’t already.
Outstanding👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
As an engineer, I do not understand how such a bad crimp in the cable passed QA inspection with so much room inside. The least I could have done is send out a service notice to all people who purchased an LG product with this issue.
Yeah it really doesn’t make any sense. Maybe it’s part of their planned obsolescence?
@@CharlesYamabe It is DEFINITELY planned obsolescence as LG engineers know exactly what they are doing. Shame on them.
QA people: No it doesn't pass inspection
CEO: Yes it does
Maybe jostling during shipping and installation makes the crimp worse? We had a tv that was working, but stopped shortly after installing
Unbelievable! Problem just cropped up slowly after many years (poor wifi and general remote responsiveness). Fix was easy and seems to have completely restored normal expected TV operation. Hopefully it will last! Thank you Charles!!!!
Boom! It worked! Thanks!
LG stands for Long Gone! Last LG TV I'll buy!
Hahaha
Nice…worked for me so far! I got this TV for free from my neighbors and figured some internet wiz had a solution! Thanks man!
No problem! Yeah customer support isn’t very supportive
@@CharlesYamabe He thinks LG don't know about it!? LOL. Oh wow.
Thank you, this video saved me from buying a new TV. The back was more difficult to get off on my model. I had to gently break the seal on the sides by running a flat head screwdriver slowly up them. I had to use some force to open it. Once I opened it, it was exactly as this video explains. It worked for me!
Charles, thanks for your video. Noting the screw by the analog inputs. And, the crimped ribbon cable that gave all kinds of errors.
No problem glad I could help.
YES! This worked out great. I didn’t had to mess around with the cables. Dusting off the wifi module port did it for me. Thank you so much! 👍🏻
To my fellow skeptical people, this DOES in fact work. Thank you sir for this video.
Same I did this a few days ago worked like a charm right after
I salute you big time. Your video has served me. I was on the verge of returning the LG Tv to the dealer. It took me less than 10 minutes to have it fixed. You are a mensh!
Glad I could help!
Couldn't watch Hulu, Netflix, or update apps until I found this video. Now I'm a hero at home. Great video.
Just did this today and it worked perfectly. Thanks for saving me the money.
Congrats on fixing it! Since the video helped would you mind giving the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it helps me reach more people. Thanks so much!
I tried this after being tired of trying everything else without success, with little faith and my husband about to kill me. It worked. I cannot believe it!! Thank you so much for sharing this!! Super simple and finally a fix!!
It really is the easiest fix! I’m glad it worked for you! If you haven’t already and you would please like and subscribe that would really help!
Oh. My. God!!! I can’t thank you enough for making this video! I still can’t believe I just took apart and fixed my TV! At midnight no less! 😂
Hahaha that’s awesome! Congrats on fixing your tv!
Having tried everything else and come to my wits end with persistent wifi & Bluetooth crashes i came across this video and with nothing to lose i gave it a shot.
The relevant cables were bent and crimped but with a bit of finessing i got them into a more natural shape just like you showed.
The TV now works perfectly 🤗
Hats off to you sir, you're an absolute legend!👌
Thank you so much! The only real thing I could find on UA-cam.
Tried all the "easy fixes" nothing worked.. until I stumbled upon this video. Now my TV works perfectly!!!! Thank you Charles!!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful and works flawlessly!
I raised a ticket with LG customer service for this and got a call from them. However I told them that I fixed it myself ( feeling myself as a mechanic 😀)
Ha that’s amazing! Did you tell them how you fixed it?
Yeah of course! Credit goes to your video 👍
I did the same!
Just watched this and did it on my LG worked perfectly thanks again!
That’s awesome! Glad to save you some money! Please like and subscribe if you haven’t already. It really helps out!
I face the same wifi connection problem with my LG tv and I so worried about that and then watching your video I fixed it same as you did and it works , thanks for that you saved my pocket,
appricated thanks
I’m glad I could help and save you some money! Would you mind giving the video a “like” and subscribe to my channel? It really helps me out! Thanks!
Just did this fix on my 65" LG, my cable had many sharp bends in it. Thanks for the tip!
I owe you a drink! This worked! Thank you!!!
I’ll make you a deal... If you give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel then we can call it even. 😃
Charles Yamabe done 🤙🏻
I had installed a network booster before finding this fix thinking that was the problem and was about to buy a new WiFi module. As advertised took about 20 minutes. Thank you so much for posting this!
this definitely work for me, I tried everything. THANKS‼️
😃 No problem! Since the video helped would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It helps me reach more people. The more people I reach the more I can help. Thanks so much!
For those in the Philippines, who are probably watching this video bcoz of their LG TV wifi problem:
I swear by this tutorial, it really worked!
I needed this.
*Not the hero we deserved but the hero we needed*
I do my best to serve the people. 😂 Would you mind doing me a favor? Would you please give the video a “like” and “subscribe” to my channel? It really helps me out and it allows me to help more people. Thanks!
It worked. I had tried all the other options, nothing was fixing the problem, so i followed your advice in detail and the wifi is back on and we're making good use of the tv again. I'm so chuffed! Thank you for this brilliant video.
Fr Thanks 🙏🏼 quick fix no lie
Glad it worked! Would you mind throwing me a “like” and subscribe? It really helps me out.
I ran into this issue today with my LG TV and I absolutely cannot believe that this worked. You’re a wizard and I appreciate you
Hahaha you’re welcome! Glad it worked out for you!
Please like and subscribe if you haven’t already. It really helps out!
Never buying another LG product. What a fuckin joke.
I never would of thought it
Glad it worked for you. Will you please like and subscribe? Thanks!
