Tried this out today! 15 minutes to watch the video (twice) + 30 minutes to buy ingredients + 30 minutes to prep + 30 minutes to cook + 30 minutes to clean while it sat + 30 minutes(ish) to eat = an evening well spent! Maybe if I had not been a newcomer I'd have done it sooner.

I made this in the Instant Pot and it's really good!!! It turned out great! I backed off on the liquid and added some cooked chicken at the end. I posted on my page and will shortly on the Instant Pot Community with a link to this video! Thanks for another great one!!! 😀

Love the T-shirt . Horrible weather in uk again I’m back in my jumpers. But you make up for this gloomy miserable weather as know soon as watch one off your cooking block it starts to feel like the sun shining as that how you make me feel. Your whole presents is calming full off joy and you explain the recipes so well. You know when your feeling down just put one off your videos in and you know your day will be fine.

This looks really really good!!!!! I'm going to convert it to an Instant Pot recipe! I'll saute the veggies and spices in the IP and then just cook the rice using my rice method. 3 minutes pressure cooking followed by a 10-minute NPR. I did this on your Ultimate Cumin Rice recipe and it worked beautifully! I'm sure this will be amazing too! With humblest apologies I'll add some diced cooked chicken after pressure cooking and use BTB chicken broth instead of water. Love your channel and recipes and wish you could come over to the states for a book tour! I'd love to say thank you very much in person!!!! 😀

Thanks to you I make pulao all the time these days, it's such a great way of using up veg from the fridge. It's such a versatile side dish too, real game changer. And healthy!

Your cooking channel is very good and it encourage me and many people to cook and create nice home cook food. Especially the discovery of lentils that can make wonderful dishes and cut down eating red meat .

This looks fabulous. I've been trying to find new things to do with peppers (other than just stuffed). I can't wait to try it out!

@@FoodwithChetna I FINALLY got some chaat masala and made this. It was fantastic! (even though I actually miscalculated the heat on the medium setting and scorched the bottom of the pan). I took a rather large portion, and had to stop myself from getting seconds....had to save some for the next day :).

Hello! Thank you. Is this regular basmati rice or parboiled basmati rice?

If you smash the shallots like a garlic the paper will come off easier and/or cutting off the bottom (like you do with garlic) then smashing with the paper on.

For easy peel shallots, just cover with boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes then peel away.
