It's messed up that J has more phones than I have socks
Haha
Lol
Damn lol
Ur not alone
I will buy you some socks
I've had every Pixel Phone and as long as Google keeps the line alive, I'll have one. I know people say Pixel phones are "boring", but I love pure Android straight from the source. I have rhe Bay color Pixel 8 Pro with the bay color Google case and it's a beautiful color. The Minty color is nice as well. It does everything I need it to do, so I have no major complaints.
I do agree with you about bringing Google Play Edition phones back. A Google Play Edition Galaxy S24 Ultra would be sweet.
Me too! :))
Recently got a pixel 8 just to see what's going on over there and it's pretty good. Love the screen size
I will be picking up the next pixel 9 pro when it comes out.
I'm a firm believer that a Google pixel device is like a nice bottle of wine it gets better with time. I still use my Pixel 6 pro all the time
That minty fresh is clean , I'm still using my 6a and its my favorite the form factor is perfect
watching on my Pixel 6a
It's an Exynos chip at the end of the day. A high performance chip but inferior to snapdragon. Even the dimensity chip is giving better performance and can give Tensor a run for its money. I have the 7Pro.
Inferior in what ways ? In day to day use..does it make a difference ? That's what matters
@@imbalancedstatus8824 depends on what you use your phone for.
That mint......damn!
My first google device was a galaxy nexus..loved that thing and i had the white on which was rare in canada
Watching this on my pixel 6a after a long stint on my old BlackBerry phones 😊 and man its great getting back to this little monster. The speed is still hard to believe even as I use it!
Team Pixel all day here! Watching on Pixel Fold
Good choice! 💯🙌🏽🙌🏿🙌🏿🔥
Loving mine I got a few months ago
Still learning it
Where did you get that skin for the 6a
It looks sick!! Right now on my 8 Pro i have a dbrand X-Ray skin and I think it's time for a change
I really liked that one you have or maybe a leather one .what do you think ?...
Another solid video, J I will forever be sad that I was never able to get my hands on the Google play edition Z ultra from Sony always wanted to try that phone never was able to get my hands on. Keep up the great work j have a good one and I’ll catch you on the next one.
i have a s24 plus and a pixel 8pro. i find myself wanting to come back to the pixel when i use the s24. i cant ignore the 45w charging speeds, better battery life, and better signal. though, i miss the pixel haptics, software, and camera. so i flipflop my simcard between the 2
J Long time, Hope you and Family are you are doing well. Salute.💯✌️P.S.Many should get back to what made them.
Aw yeah J I love it when you talk pixel talk bro
I really want to stay with Pixel(7 Pro) but may have to switch to S24 Plus or Ultra because of the heating problems, and efficiency issues. If I leave I'm hoping to come back with the Pixel 10. How is the 8 Pro doing?
I was a craxy fan of the 3a XL design! That was my first pixel device. Ive been a fan ever since! My wife still tells me how good my pictures look with my 7 Pro. Im on the fence if i should move to a Samsung Ultra because of battery life & fast charging!
Watching this on my bay blue pixel 8 pro 🔥
The first thing I did when I got my current Samsung phone was disable all the extra stuff like the side menus. Pretty sure I'm getting the Pixel 8a.
The 5 is the best phone they ever made.
I think the 5A was better than the 5. The 8 Pro is Google's return to form and I think is the best phone they ever made, with the 5a trailing behind
@@AllLove0307 Na they're too big, the 5 is best
Agree the 5 is the best size and thin no camara bump
@@SilverWolvesScarletForestSnow I would say the 5a fixed what I thought was wrong with the 5 and that was the top speaker. Everything else was legit with the 5 other than that speaker. But agree to disagree I like small and big phones and you prefer smaller ones. Nothing wrong with that my brotha/sista.
The green color on that 5 was nice tho
For me, the Pixel 2XL still ranks supreme. It was peak Android at that time and had the best camera and the most clean experience. I had it and the downgrade from the 2 to the 3 was the saddest thing I ever experienced in the world of smartphones
I think if anyone was a fan of AOSP on the Nexus and Google Play devices and hasn’t tried the modern Pixel OS you would be pleasantly surprised. It’s smooth, good haptics and much more cohesive through the whole OS versus yesteryear lol. I think Tensor still has a way to go for thermals, battery and modem but there’s positive progress every generation. I hope Google sticks with it unlike so many other of their hardware/software ventures 😂
TeamPixel. I switched over after the EOL of the Essential Phone. Which in my opinion is still one of the best built phones of all time. I'm waiting for the Pixel 9, I sure hope we get a small variant, even as someone with larger hand, I don't like the feel of larger phones. lol. A Pixel about the same size of the Essential would be the perfect phone to me.
Love the video and everything you said. But why you said that your sim is in the Pixel but has an Apple Watch Ultra. I'm genuinely curious. I just got one and I'm doing all the research whether I want to keep it or not. But I usually encounter this type of video where people praise the Pixel and say that it is the one that they are using while wearing an Apple Watch.
I carry 3 phones, 2 primarily on me. So it's always my iPhone 15 Pro , and another phone. I wear 2 watches everyday to match with the phones I'm wearing.
I think the Pixel 3aXL was my favorite pixel.
Bought 2 google pixel 6a for my kids at a fire sale from Google and the respected stores here in Singapore. For some reasons, they never envied their friends using Apple devices. The point and shoot photos quality is really that good.
My first was the samsung nexus with the curved. My last pixel is the pixel 7. Regretfully it got plagued by the call cutting issue after receiving the Android 14 update. Issue still not resolved by google. So that is the bad news, and it really sucks because the phone is useless as a phone now. Now mi pixel 6 I sold, but luckly still have my Pixel 5. YES THE PIXEL 5, and amazingly its still running like a champ, fell in love with it again.
Even the scroll feek on a Pixel device feels better thnw any other phone. I couldn't imagine if Google ever decided to end their war with Qualcomm and finally out w Qualcomm processor in there how it would perform. Maybe that will solve their battery problems.
J, havent you seen the renders for the new 9 series? They are changing the design to a boxy "apple like" one. Personally dont like it!
nexus 4 was a cool phone !!! had all since then
Nexus 6p for me I loved that phone.
The Pixel software is perfect in almsot every way with the exceptions to updates. I commonly have some issues the first week of my big updates but soon as it locks in right, it returns to perfection. I still think the Snapdragon processors run better! I cant front on Qualcomm power!
I've been on Samsung devices for years but I love my Pixel Fold the smoothest software than any phone I still have my Z Fold 3 now almost 4 years but on the shelf. My Pixel has no problem I'm running Android 15 beta it's the best features yet. I'm good with Google processor and never had a problem since launch.
I'm not really into the stock Android thing but i like the phone nonetheless
Installed niagra launcher and it's butter
They could do like Samsung does with the snap dragon made for Samsung type of deal
The 8 is great no doubt but it's too small, I don't wanna keep getting smaller devices
I love my Pixel 8. But I still say the 5A was one of the best. I still like it
I almost got the Pixel 8 Pro but at the last minute decided to get the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus instead. I just couldn't bring myself to choose a Google phone over a Samsung phone even though the Pixel has a better camera.
Got the 6a waiting on a watch with a good battery life from Google
I'm watching on my pixel 8pro
I also think Google software should be able to install on any device
Nice video
I actually regret selling my 5....it just kinda worked.... except the speakers
pixel phones are smooth and clean. I like oneUI but I like the no bloat pixelOS WAY better. have 8 pro, Love it, getting 9 pro. pixel has the best design. camera doesn't make phone wobble
Theres no point in going back to having google play devices. Because that would canibalize google's hardware sales. The thing that makes people want to have a pixel is the stock android experience and camera software. If samsung would have a product line with stock android software then I would buy that over a pixel.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is definitely better than the Tensor G3 processor. It's also a lot more efficient which leads to better overall battery life.
You really notice the stuttering and "lag" in the Pixel phones when you switch from a Snapdragon Android or iPhone. You'll definitely notice a change in fluidity and responsiveness. Don't get me wrong, Google's OS on their phones is really clean and offers a bloat-free experience but the only thing really holding me back from switching from my iPhone permanently is an equivalent quality of hardware

*team Pixel*
Google's colorways are second to none.
If they just had a better chip for gaming it would be a no brainer for me
Just grab a "gaming" phone 😆
@@EllEmm149 I have I've been using the OnePlus brand for years, no complaints
Next year they going to tmsc for chip

What of the One plus fans?. Don't leave us out of the equation.I mean if we have to beg and plead with J to review the One plus 12,then that's a Classic 😊.
I think J mentioned he got something against OnePlus at the moment lol he said it in the comments of one of his Livestreams. He'd correct me if I'm wrong tho!
Oh really, interesting
J what's going on with you and One plus?.
Yeah.... OnePlus 12 is true beauty, form and function. No question about it!!
Nexus 💪💪💪

Googles chipset is weak. That is their main problem
😂, nah it's not weak at all.
