Nice video. Your explanation of the basic features of limiters is clear and easy to understand. Having said that, this is not a scenario in which I would suggest using a limiter. IMO, mixing that close to 0dBFS is not advisable and lowering the volumes of all the tracks would make more sense as a solution. In the current version of Sonar, this can be accomplished in a few seconds with the quick-grouping feature.
You may have already figured this out, but the plugin he is using is a legacy plugin that does not install on typical x1 installation. You can install this plugin with X1 by going back to install and checking this plugin only when you go through the options. IMHO there are better limiting options already on your machine. The Vintage Channel, Sonitus Suite and Boost 11 will all do limiting. If you have expanded, the Concrete Limiter is worth purchasing. Low CPU usage and transparent
