I can relate to Christy because there hasn't been a straight path for me. It's been a jungle of trying different things and slowly developing gifts and talents God has given me over time.
I'm in my 40's and just now starting to make a career out it.
Also, my self esteem had to be rebuilt because of mental and emotional abuse.
I was fired from a long time job three months ago which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I was able to start working full-time on these talents a couples weeks before that job ended.
I'm a lot less stressed out now too. I love not having to work for someone else.
I have a very similar story! Probably leaving my job of 15 years soon.

As a 19 year old about to finish my freshman year in college, I really appreciate and value this type of content because I really stress about where I will end up career-wise and this stuff provides a lot of peace because you guys have real life examples of God's faithfulness in your lives. Being aware is the most important thing. You’ll never be where you wish you were, financially. But being aware is key. The fact you were even watching these at 19, you’re ahead of your time. Just stay ahead.

I'm 52, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a nonspecific science degree and I'm still lost. I've never found anything that I love nor anything that I'm particularly talented in.

If I try to reach my dreams and miss, I'm crushed. I don't want to be crushed again, so I avoid thinking about what might constitute dreams any more.
I don't believe we were created to be one specific thing because I don't believe we were created. We have things we're good at and things we like to do, but that's all it is.

I never wanted to be anything when I grew up. Not as a kid and not as an adult. I'm 41 years old. I earn decent money but hate it. I hate all work. I just save money to retire early.
