The “Superfecta” of Hard Rock and Metal: Band-Maid / The Warning, and Jinjer / Lovebites -- all pushing their core genres into the next realm! 🤘 🤘 🤘🤘Thx, Shane!
Yeah Man; after hearing this song The first time. When recovering a bit from what I just heard and saw. I was Like ..What the heck was the song about ??.. Hades and Persephone? Neptune & his kids? Mythology, Perhaps a little?? I Checked up on the astrological Signs, Zodiac/Horoscope. "Pisces".. The two kind of opposing fish.. A duality or duplicitous if you will? In the song 2 opposing time signatures'. two opposing types/styles of singing.. And she has a little fish in each of her ear spacers/gauges?? One on each side/ear = 2 Go figure??;; Oh my; what can it mean? Do you suppose this could be a coincidence? In the end,, it was Tatiana singing & living the Love-Hate relationship; most of us have with ourselves . That's my take away LOL.
Jinjer is used to labled as metalcore band because the band was kinda metalcore(ish) when they started, 10-15 years ago. And that's what was written in Wikipedia. Nowadays Jinjer definitely isn't metalcore band. It's a prog metal band with a bunch of influences that incorporate many other genres in their music. Some people calls it metal jazz, it makes sense.
They actually only created this video to showcase Vlad, their new drummer at the time... the album version still features their previous drummer Dmitry Kim, who has a different style... he still helps to capture and refine much of their live concert sound. I believe Vlad is trained in classical piano also. Anyway, there is some post production enhancements to her voice here such as pitch correction, still doesn't diminish the performance at all 🤘
I think all of the vocal tracks are pulled straight from the studio recordings, although not all of the vocal tracks used in the studio recording are used here.
First time hearing this band, im amazed by how her voice changes so much. My sister thought they were two seperate vocalists, male and female
So many different genre's in every Jinjer song, I just say Jinjer doing Jinjer things now!
Didnt know what to expect and i truly didnt expect the voice change. She is so amazing
💚✌
