Well maybe it was foreshadowing his death or perhaps the green men take him in after the battle and he and his dragon crash there.
Holy sh** This finally might be an answer to the mystery of what happens to Daemon!!!
That would be interesting Daemon basically immortal or with different time on the isle not able to leave not knowing hundreds of years passed
Im now more convinced than ever that daemon will be pulled from the gods eye by the green men. Maybe he will drown and maybe he won’t, but that green man showed himself to Daemon for a reason. The Asoiaf vision that he saw was enough to convince him, the green man is for something more
Logical theory. I don't think Daemon would be able to see a green man for nothing.

I genuinely think Daemon might be dragged from the water of the Gods Eye by the green men when he falls. I've loved how much this show is leaning into the spooky old gods stuff, and if he ends up on the isle of faces we could learn some amazing things
I love this theory and I feel like GRRM wants to see it come to fruition through the show.. I know I do.
The old god stuff and alys has been the best depiction of witchcraft type magic I’ve ever seen on screen. In fact seeing that marvel Agatha trailer makes me smh just knowing it will be nothing like Alys rivers and harrenhall

I love it too, and the subtle indications of Larry being a warg in league with the green men. Remember, Larry knows Alys. He grew up on the shores of the Gods Eye, and house Strong is a first man house.

The question is why is he showing him visions of white walkers and Daenerys, when we all know that Arya kills the Night King and ends the Long Night.. So this whole prince who was promised prophecy is a waste of time..
Cause thats not the actually ending, GRRM never finished the series they just wanted to wrap up the show so they winged the ending without GRRM.

They should really drop this storyline from the show, bceause it's pointless. The prophecy doesn’t say the prince will kill the Night King though, does it? Isn’t it just that the prince will save Westeros? That’s effectively what happened whether the prince is Jon, Dany or both together.
@@stuartbagley2586 well the prophecy is tied to the others and the last hero, and defeating the gathering darkness. There isn't a Night king in the book to kill. But the fact that Jon and Danny didn't do much to end the long night in the show and that it was in fact a stark that defeated the darkness, not a Targeryan. Takes me back to my original post which was why wouldn't they just cut this storyline from house of the dragon as its a dead end. Because this show is a prequel to Game of thrones, and we know how that ends. And the only person this prophecy has anything to do with in the show was Stannis.

I have the suspicion that Daemon is going to end in the isle of faces after the final battle with Aemond and probably get killed by the greenmen (since Alys told him “you’re going to die in this place”)
The great thing about Alys's prophecy is she didn't say WHEN it would happen... 5 weeks? 5 months? 5 years? 55 years?

I mean yea but we did see him drown in the gods eye in his vision. However the green men might recover his body after his death and use that for some blood magic perhaps , he does have ancient valriyan blood and that has power for sure
remember how after bran became the three eyed raven meera said "you died in that cave"? maybe alys means something similar. i think there's a huge possibility that daemon will go through a major transformation but his body will live on

The Stagmen go deeeeeeep the Borathians may have some ancestral connection or memory to/of them. But as a family they're basically not anymore important than the Martels, Tullys or Tyrells. They have a big name but small destiny.

I’m more inclined to believe Targaryen madness is Bloodraven warging into the past to prune the Targaryen line into the necessary configuration for the coming battle for the dawn. This is because of the mad king’s breakdown seeming to mirror Hodor’s.
Honestly, considering what we got, I would’ve preferred the entire episode just be spooky lore like this rather than Alicent and Rhaenyra having the same conversation YET AGAIN.

HotD has offered two (or three) possible explanations for the dreams of prophecy.
The third option first as its been the most talked about and is older is that Blood Raven sends all the dreams (or an entity possessing Blood Raven)
Second option is the dragons are dreaming and they see past and future in their dreams and are warging with the dragon riders and sharing their dreams.
Third option is that the dreams are coming from Cthonic gods who are just using the men and kings as pieces on a chess board as they play a long game.
Think of these gods as people playing a 4x strategy game each controlling different factions via dream and occasional possession of an avatar.
This option is also the Blood Raven option if Blood Raven is a possessed avatar of an old god who now wants Bran to be his new, younger, fresher host.
I doubt the Green Man sailed across the lake to Harrenhal. He used the weirwood tree to get there, because they have caves underneath.

Knowing Martin oversaw House of the Dragon and given Bran * does * seem to be the Book winner of the Game of Thrones, I think it's likely the Children of the Forest etc actually win at the end of the final novel.... which we will never read I assume.... Martin clearly made sure the vision featured things that mean more to book-readers than people who endured the final 4 seasons of GoT.

So there are 2 possibilities. Either it's an hallucination or not. If the latter then we can be certain that the Green men existed at least until circa HotD, probably still being around during the main story on the Isle of Faces. This alone makes me quite giddy with excitement.

Idk if he’d call himself “three eyed raven”. I feel like Blood Raven made that title with his affinity when he became a green seer. Though now I’m curious as to when Blood Raven formulated his plan to sever humans from the old gods. Maybe some of the others tied to the weirwood net like Daemon have some insight for their future family members.

All targarynens burn (although it’s inferred they have like a slightly higher tolerance for heat than normal people due, like hotter baths etc)
The whole Targaryens being immune to burning thing is a misconception created by show only fans of GOT and then kept alive by Dan and Dave for whatever reason they did things.
Danarys should have burned in the fire when her dragon eggs hatched and the fact that she doesn’t is a miracle/magic in itself.
