THANKS PAK! Saw you last YCS and now you’re coming to visit my home town so I’ll for sure see you there. After watching your branded video I think I’m going to ask you to sign my quem so I’ll keep an eye out for you! It was great meeting you last time and you were a very genuine person. Keep up the grind ‼️
This is amazing, surprised you sharing this for free. I always try to lay out the decks in my head to warrant the space for non engine but your layout is exactly what I should do. Thank you again.
I love this type of content for yugioh definitely not enough of this out to teach you how to actually play the game competitively and what all goes into it very informative looking forward to more!!!! 💯💯💪🏾
Prep is very very important. Can't go to a tournament blind without some knowledge. We all have access to internet and a few mins to watch something to help ourselves. Thanks pak for this helpful info
I think i'd be fine losing to Centur-Ion. Statistically, it won't win an event anyhow. The real question is "will Colossus and Mali to 3 be enough to make Tear tier 2?"
Nib is one of those cards you side deck to get over most rogue decks that come your way. It just covers a lot of non-meta decks that use long combos to do their basic plays (like Spright Twins). All you have to keep in mind is whether or not the deck you're facing against can extend after a Nib activation if the deck doesn't have a Nib-related choke point, but since it can also check Fire King in this meta, its still worth considering for your main deck (especially since Baronne and Savage are gone). Droll is stupidly good though, you're 100% right. Every deck should at least be siding it rn in this meta.
I think the advice in the video apply to all levels of competitive play, you’re pretty much scaling the applications depending on the amount of people/decks you play against.
EU non plant players "we prepping for the YCS and gonna win" Plants players "we gonna do actual prep against the meta and still spike them because even though Joshua Schmidt has plotted against us and done a public class on how to win we still gonna win" EU non plant players after the event "Plants kicked out ass again" "this is why deckbuilding is hard now" points to list of 20 decks. Well sir there is this lovely thing that other card games do that cuts down on the list of viable decks its called ROTATION. Pro's be wanting tier 0 formats so there is less decks but refuse to acknowledge that rotation would fix all those issues they have with the game currently
Looks like something he's created himself and just has a master copy as a blank and reuses it for events. Percents of meta are just his guesses and he's just using his years of experience figuring out what non engines are good.
This is legit one of the most informative video guides I’ve seen on event prep
Bro i could listen to this for hours, very very nice content, pls do more

15:16 bro's saying this like he's alerting the castle guards of an intruder lmfao

I prepare for a YCS by booting up master duel and not going to a YCS because I'm ass.
I love how this video comes out when there isn't a YCS in Europe :(
You could have said the same thing if this was posted in January 🤣
Check your ego, PAKs entire channel is not about YOU.
@@j2c695 there’s more people with his way of thinking then you can imagen.
850 open in France, that's not even enough for you ?

The real question is "will Colossus and Mali to 3 be enough to make Tear tier 2?"
No
no because colossus in tear isn't good :)
This is my second ycs and im more concerned about purrely with delicious at 2.
And voiceless being so resilient
Yes, if you follow this advice 😂😂😂. This is why YGO is so stagnant. Cause people play like this.

Spright Twins is probably going to gigantic on their 4th summon so you have to pair it. Just seems like a strange example.
Great video brodie. Does anyone have the link to the Google docs referenced for the regional and tournament results?
where do you get that format spreadsheet?
It's probably just a template he made himself by the looks of it. Things like that arent hard to make yourself.
"...what are people expect to play..."
...so snake eyes?

0:38 Figure out what people are playing
Tenpai Dragons gonna use Gravity Collapse???
Is there a link to the spreadsheet
What about a glad beast profile

where did he found the excel file with the data?

How to prepare? Buy the top Deck, lose and then sell everything and stop playing for one year 😂
