I bought 1 for my 'tomatoes' based on this review. And I gotta say I was pretty impressed, finished my grow at just under 1 gram per watt. Works perfectly for an 80x80x160cm growtent

BLESS YOU for actually plugging the light into a watt meter to measure the ACTUAL power, which is rated at 99 watts when you dig into the specs

Hey Techplant, I'm in the market shopping for my first hanging grow lamp. I was looking at the Mars Hydro TS600 and the Sansi 70W hanging one, the price between the two is around $20, with the Sansi one being cheaper. Since you have both, could do maybe do a comparison on the two of them and which one you'd recommend and for what? I wouldreally appreciate it, thank you! :)

What was the technical term for the device you use to check the wattage that was pulling from the wall I have the exact same light rating is 100 Watts from the wall have a good one and keep gardening

How does it turn on where is the power switch?
I buyed 2 of them. The First, one Red Light is Brocken after one yeahr, but all in one its a pretty product. Its shining brighter than other lamps & i Hope i can used the lamp for a few years!

My Mars Hydro LED light started flickering due to wires in the main wire harness connector burning. The connector was very hot to the touch. After sending a lot of pictures and info to Mar Hydro (Janice), they stopped communicating. I am afraid to use it because I don't want to burn my house down! Where is their customer support and warranty?
So max watts is 100 on TS600 or what’s th max watts this light can push?
I have a giixer blurplu light. Wondering if I can use both together? Not asking if it can be daisy chained or linked together. Just want to know if I can use both in the same 4x4 grow tent i have.

I have been using the Mars hydro ts600 for a year and after exactly one year, part of the lamp has stopped working. Unfortunately, the company is not helpful. My houseplants were growing excellently but as I mentioned, it stopped working after a year:(((

Hi nice video. I bought one TS600, and I notice that MH changed the output draw from 100 to 85w. My Light had a new sticker on top of the old one that says 100w. Any information about this?

Looking to buy this light for a 2x2 tent. I just grew a rescue plant outdoors and she’s on her last day of drying. I purchased 3 auto flower royal queen gorilla glue seeds and plan on growing them one at a time. First grow I will not top and just let her go, minus the lollipoping etc. Second grow I’m going to top and do LST. 3rd grow I will be trying out my cannabonsi skills with a nice piece of drift wood I have. By the 3rd grow, it will be almost time to grow outdoors again, and I got a nice feminized white widow seed I’m going to grow outdoors. This will also be the time I start cloning. I love the white widow from back in the late 90’s. Now I have a chance to grow my own and smoke it. My first grow was one Afghani plant and she turned out pretty nice. Very very smooth white smoke, and a huge heavyweight knockout. Smoke one joint and 5 minutes later your falling asleep.

yes its normal! they are almost too hot to touch
What do you recommend for a budget light(s) to grow lettuce in the basement DWC style?
Im still trying to figure out the best bang for your buck. but i was growing them with about 60Watts on the older LED diodes. I bet you could get away with something like 40W with SMD style and it would cover a 2.5 x 2.5 area
once i have a house ill setup a bunch of basement DWC stuff and really experiment. Since its a leafy green it doesnt require as much energy as something like tomato plants
Do you think something like the ts600 is too much for a small contained greenhouse? Its for my rarer plants. Around 70x40cm
hard to say without knowing the size of the greenhouse, but I would look into barrina grow lights for something like that, I made a video about light recommendations. it might help you decide
This lil light amounts to a dimple on the butt of a Mars Hydro SP 3000, which is dollar for dollar the 2nd best grow light on the market right now.

yeah any light that uses those Samsung LEDs are legit, just pretty expensive. for someone growing weed or tomatoes they are worth it tho

You cannot. However I think mose timers you can buy are pretty cheap

I use the YAGPDB.xyz bot to moderate mine, most of its features are free unlike the MEE6 bot.
Is this light moisture resistant? I know it's not waterproof, but will a humidifier cause any problems?
yes, it runs hot enough where no moisture should build up. Im not sure how well it will fair in like 90%+ humidity but anything below that should be fine. Im not an expert tho so take it with a grain of salt

How would this compare to a roleadro 2x200w cob grow light?
Im not sure becasue ive never used it. but these newer lights are getting pretty darn efficient, Id recommend any light with samsung LEDs, I have one by viparspectra and another by spider farmer and they are working well!
Which lights have Samsung? What does the mars hydro ts series use? I had really good results with my used eBay roleadro. But now one of the strips of leds in one of the cobs is flickering so I bought a ts600 as a backup light just in case it completely stops working.
Do you have any good lights you want to sell? I could absolutely use an upgrade to a mars but cant afford brand new. Love the content

its going to be really strong for anything on the top shelf
if this is really your only option you could try and diffuse the light with something that wont start on fire. also it will really heat up the case very fast if its inside.

i cant read the description well, but something like this would work. They dont have to be barrina just makesure they have a decent wattage
you will need more than one of those tube lights, otherwise you can try small florecent tube fixtures

The TS - 600 light bought some the link and your description, isn't purple and it doesn't work that well. Did I buy the wrong one it shines a white bright light. Isn't it supposed to be purple
