That's right. For me the best live version in UA-cam, too. There's another one played in a cathedral with an orchestra with high quality, but prefer this one.
I would have watched this over 50 times easily over years now and I never tire of it. It's just legendary work. A combination of a genius song with masterful execution both vocally and musically. Sting, as a former teacher, gets full marks for this brilliant performance.
The horn parts add a lot to this in a live context, but probably would not have worked on the record. Sting could easily slip into jazz, and perhaps they avoided horns.
Sting, Vinnie, Dom and Kenny. Magical!
Yeah - AMAZING band of musicians!
I was looking for this particular live, for almost 8 years....for me the best version out there...Vinnie killed it on this one...
Is there any chance for uploading the rest of the show?
Thanks for commets.Sorry, only clip I have

Vinnie is not human. He's an absolute fucking drumming machine..
A genius on Keyboards. Master.
That change in the second verse man. Brilliant.
I was there in 1996
how could you not like Sting.
Classic Vinnie. Nice.
Grande Vinnie!
Great song

Stuart Copeland is an amazing drummer and percussionist...
Yes, but this is not Copeland here. It's the great Vinnie Colaiuta!
Yep - Vinnie's pretty damn good, too.!!
Vinnie also owns the famous Rosanna (Toto) shuffle. Legendary drummer.
@@crusaderofunderdogs8005 You mean the shuffle that Jeff Porcaro played that he borrowed from Bernard Purdie?
