very clean work. just one tip from one mechanic to another, those M177/LS1 engines (which are found in the c63/c63s) actually have two drain plugs. one is located at the very front of the upper oil pan, above the front engine cover which you took of last. you will get about 1 more liter of old oil out if you open this one as well. otherwise, great video:)
@@Jitzie It looked slightly overfilled on that dipstick if Im reading it correctly, but it would take a huge overfill to cause any damage, this is all fine
I really appreciate the attention to detail-Great job! I would not put the lower covers back on the car until I started with new oil and visually checked for any oil leaks.
I paused this enthralling video to type the following profound statement: The sound of the draining oil reminded me of a cow pissing after drinking a keg of beer, all it was missing was the flat rock. Carry on.
Thank you. I have changed the oil, air and fuel filters on my W204 thanks to your videos. However, this time I shall be filling to the middle of the dipstick, not to the top.
Finally someone that knows how to do a CORRECT oil change. The only 3 things I do differently here in the states is: 1. I never touch the filtration element of the filter with my gloves. I just touch the base of the filter or the very top during installation. 2. I don't pull the filler cap until it's time to add oil. I just pull the dip stick out a bit to allow it to drain easier. Less likely for contaminates to fall off the towel covering it, etc.. and into the engine as the car goes up and down on the lift. 3. I pour the oil in right out of the bottle into that funnel. Those filler cans allow the possibility of dust and debris to get into the system.
So glad you’re back, please keep uploading these regularly maintenance videos. They really help me to relax and learn new things at the same time 😂 is the new A35 basically the same as last a45?
Great video! Nice work. I think there is a second oiltap in front. So the black plastic one you already changed en there is a metal ‘schraube’ in front.
Oh no. Say it isn't so? MB put the oil filter on the bottom? I have been servicing these since 2001 and never saw one on the bottom even going back to mid 90s. I am disgusted. This will suck on the ground. Great video BTW! Edit: Just did one today on the ground. It sucks because you will be dropping the middle and rear pan.
hi i have a AMG A45 a nine years old car very low mileage only 1000km but the service center tell me i need to replace brake linings and brake disc anyone know is it necessary ? 🙏🙏
Could you tell me what is best when checking oil level, on warm operating temperature or cold engine? I have a C43amg, i have some issues understanding what MB considers to be accepted level. When operating temp i checked after 5 min, level is just below to 1/2 between Min and Max. After 20 min slightly above 1/2 Min and Max. After 2h is about 3/4 Min and Max. Cold engine, next morning, is 3/4 Min and Max. What is to follow cold or hot level? Because if you follow cold level and is little above Min, when going warm will be below Min, and if you make level close to Max when warm, when going cold will be above the Max.
That is a surgically clean and perfect oil change. I would drive my car to this guy every time if I could. FANTASITC VIDEO.
Oil filter under the engine... even such easy job as engine oil change is so complicated on the newer Mercedes cars...
Thank you for the video :)
Wait until someone tries the crankcase ventilation valve on the M274. It's too much fun.

Doesn't that mean he overfilled the oil by 1L? he added 9, but took out 8?

Have you actually done a oil change on any car lol?
what if the filler cap won't come off and you drained the oil?
@MowerModdin Then you get another car because if someone was stupid enough to over tighten it, you don't want that poorly maintained car anyway.
Professional work, what else to say.
So happy for comeback to share video for us ,good luck
Deine Videos entspannen einfach. Perfekt wenn man nicht zur Ruhe kommt. Grüße!
Freut mich zu hören! :)
Bro ohne Scheiss ich liebe deine Videos. Fahre zwar nen Golf an dem ich auch alles selber mach aber deine Videos sind ja mal wirklich mega😍

Thank you. No the A35 and old A45 have different engines, gearboxes and 4matic systems.
Professional 🤌
Thank you for sharing another quality video, Excellent.
Good to see that you are alive ^^
Welcome back 🤠
Great video! Nice work. I think there is a second oiltap in front. So the black plastic one you already changed en there is a metal ‘schraube’ in front.
Yes there is!
Yes, thats true. But arccording to the instruction of the oil change this "Schraube" is not removed.
Fantastic! I wish my Dad would have taught me, I wish I had that set up, I wish I had that expertise, I wish I had that ethic of excellence.
i like the way nothing is fast forwarded :)
what a perfect change of oil 😀👋👋

Not to mention plastic oil pan
Sehr schön! Endlich wieder ein Video von dir. Hat der M177 keine zweite Ablassschraube am Öl-Kühler?
Danke Dir. Nein, Öl wird rein über die Ablassschraube abgelassen.
My God bro, it takes 5 months for a new video ?, please upload more videos like this.
How does this car have a drain on the oil pan and a oil dipstick?
Great video !!!! I need a lift lol
Bravooo!!!!
Hi Andreas could you help with a question ? Pls
6:46 What size socket for the oil filter cap removal?
24mm
Nice video! Engine oil brand?
We are using Shell Helix Ultra engine oil.
@WaveCeptor22 did you use 5-30 or 5-40. I heard w205 C63s amg takes 5-30 but else where some are saying 5-40. thanks

What kind of oil ?
Should I used the extration method?
Make video for Waterpump m133 pls

What about draining the oil cooler?
That's not necessary.
What did you use for cleaning in that sprayer?
Its brake cleaner

Alte oder neue Ablassschraube?
Ablassschraube wird immer neu gemacht.

The front end of the car had to be extended by 5 cm to accommodate the V8 engine xD
