How to Travel Bantayan Island 🇵🇭 2021 - Is THIS the Best Beach in Cebu, Philippines?

This is now our favorite island near Cebu City, Philippines (Bohol was pretty great too). This makes our top 5 islands in the Philippines list and #1 in Visayas. We visit the famous Kota Beach, Sante Fe Cliff Diving Spot, Sandira Beach, Oboog Mangrove Garden (Camp Sawi filming location) and many other places around Bantayan island.
First you will need to fly to Cebu island (restrictions may apply), take a bus or rent a scooter from Cebu City to Hagnaya Port, and finally take a ferry from the port to Sante Fe, Bantayan. At this time, you WILL NEED to show your booked accommodations, so make sure to book in advance.

My wife is from Bantayan...ive done the local tour...its a very nice inexpensive place...if it had a golf course the place would blow up.....i suggest eating at Seafood Express...stay at kota beach club...

Only requirement at that time was proof of booking
Whats the name of your accomodation?
It's called KRJ and we booked on airbnb
the lady was walking the beach with the mask but the security was not. I am not going to fricking wear a mask especially outside. I am certain this is not a requirement, correct?
Can't say for sure about the beach but masks are required anywhere else it's the law here

Before ay bawal daw po. Pero ngayon pwede na maligo di lang nila kinuha yung signage dun kahit pwede na.
How did you get into PH? There is a travel ban to foreigners
I was there since 2019 before the pandemic so they allowed me to stay. Tourists are still banned for now it's true.
Since 2019? How have you been able to stay for so long? And how have you been able to afford such a long vacation?
I do e-commerce so I was able to afford a very long vacation since Philippines is much cheaper
