- El Nido, Boracay and also Coron are wellknown destinations in the Philippines. I have been in every mentioned destination in the past. I have been in Bantayan Island for the first time - and it is wonderfull and great: Not that crowded as El Nido or Boracay, very friendly people. You'll find empty beaches, but you should not expect luxury comfort, coz the style on Bantayan is more originally.
For sure, this was not our last visit ….

Yes, the CouCou bar. We spent there every evening, having dinner with beer and cocktails. Maybe end 2021 we are planning to go there again.

Thanks for watching and your comment. I also wanna go back to Bantayan, but I have to wait until end 2021. The island itself is great, and so are the people. I have seen a lot of locations in the Philippines, but this is really the best - in my eyes.
Why you're in love?
Very nice...It brought back some great memories of my trip to Bantayan and Santa Fe in March of last year. We stayed at the Kota Beach Resort, and absolutely loved it there.
Kota Beach Resort is also great. It's near to our resort called Amihan Beach Cabanas.
Some days I am thinking of buying a house on Bantayan Island. I found some few good offers, but for now it's not possible to go there for inspection. Maybe end 2021, when we wanna visit the Philippines again.

Hallo,
ich war zweimal auf Panglao. Beim letzten Mal, vor einem Jahr, waren wir erschüttert, wie viele neue Hotels gebaut worden sind - auch direkt am Strand. Hinzu kommt noch, dass man sich anscheinend nur noch den koreanischen Touristen widmet, und kaum noch die aus anderen Ländern berücksichtigt. Das äußert sich unter anderem auch in den vielen koreanischen Restaurants, tendenziell machen diese die Hälfte aller Restaurants aus. Gleichzeitig haben die Preise auch deutlich angezogen. Alles wahrscheinlich aus dem Grund, dass der neue internationale auf Panglao eröffnet worden ist und eine schnelle Anreise garantiert.
Das hat zur Folge, dass wir wahrscheinlich nicht mehr auf Panglao urlauben werden. Da gibt es noch viele andere, nicht total überlaufende Ecken auf den Philippinen.

@@andreasac9769 Ja so ist das mit dem Tourismus, irgendwann wird alles zugebaut und es wird auch immer teurer. Damals ca. 2009 waren wir auf Negros El Dorado Beach Resort, das hat eine Flasche 0,5l Red Horse Bier umgerechnet 50 Cent gekostet und das teuerste Essen € 7,-. Aber auch die Malediven sind nicht mehr wie wir sie kennen und sind überteuert. Das Geld verliert ständig an Wert und jetzt mit Covid 19 und das seit Jahren ständige Gelddrucken ( Mißwirtschaft ) wird zur Inflation führen und letztendlich wird das Volk dafür bezahlen , denn die Reichen werden immer reicher!
