  • Bantayan Island Cebu is a gorgeous island with pristine beaches and one of the best places to visit in Cebu. This is part 2 on the best things to do in Bantayan Island (travel guide).
This vlog we continue our island hopping from Bantayan to Hilantagaan Island to see the bat cave and to do some snorkelling. We visited Wang Wang island as well. Then it's off to Kinatarkan Island to see its popular attractions. Laaw Lagoon and a gorgeous cave you can explore which opens to this amazing ocean lagoon. There's the clam cave (D'clam cave resort) , a new attraction on Kinatarkan and of course the island's beautiful beaches. Mambacayao Island with its beautiful white sandbar. Botigues Island, Moamboc Island and Panitugan Island where it has this amazing footbridge connecting them both. As a bonus I have added that Fantastic Island as it makes for a great day trip from Bantayan Island.
In the video im joined by Christina a cute Filipina vlogger. She and her friends help me explore the island.
Some of these other attractions were a bit harder to find so I used a local travel guide in Bantayan. The first stop was Maricaban. This is a small waterhole that locals swim and even wash at. Makes for a refreshing stop. Bantayan Island has a number of caves to visit - Lalio's Cave is a "secret cave" as it's not very well known on the island. I'll show you some of the other more popular caves in the next video. Colina Isla de Bantayan is another fantastic place to visit in Bantayan island. It is a viewing platform on one of the island's highest peaks. It offers some of the best views of the island and surrounding area.
Visit the Big Cross and quarry in the centre of Bantayan Island.

Hello from Texas Rob! Another Cool and Fantastic video as always! No Worries if you have to make a Bantayan Island video series out of this. There's definitely a whole lot to see, do and love in ALL those Paradise Islands. Continue collaborating with Christina and her Crew in creating content and perfecting this new format. I look forward to seeing the rest of this Bantayan Island adventure series. Enjoy Always Rob!

Thanks Jose, I actually planned on to spend 3 weeks in Bantayan which turned out to be 3 months! I really wanted to showcase this amazing island properly. I actually am planning to meet up with Christina again in Bantayan in a few days and do some filming for the intro of part 3 and maybe some other stuff around the island. Hopefully in the future I can do more vlogs with Christina and the crew. Cheers.

Hi Rob! Very nice to see a video which really goes to places which situations go "deeper than the normal tourists" in Bantayan and around! Thanks for sharing! The smaller places the better, goes well there and also in Camotes. So much to find!

Even though I’ve been to Bantayan island I didn’t know there was so much more to see than I realised. You’re managing to get through this crap pandemic and still do some travelling and have fun. Things are virtually normal here in South Australia but I wish I was back in the area as I’m so bored here and want to start traveling again. Tell them to hurry up and open the country up!

Thanks mate. I spend 3 months there, so I had a lot of time to really dig in deep and check out the place more than i normally would. I enjoyed the freedom there. The humidity started to kick in though from the 2nd half of May and the flies and mossies started to come out. Im actually going back in a few days just to finish off part 3 with Christina and the crew. I didn't expect to go into a part 3 but hey as you can see so many awesome things to do there. As far as opening up, I saw the president saying that they need to vaccinate more than 50 mil before they will start relaxing quarantine. I think they are around 8 mil at the moment that have been vaccinated.

@@FindingParadise Please keep the videos coming. They are a terrific promotion for areas away from Metro Manila in Philippines. Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific ought be grateful, although with so many reluctant to travel due to Mr Putin's actions, non-Filipino tourists will be slow to return.
Apart from the excellent videography, I hope thousands appreciate that you don't have that irritating 'gushy', too praiseworthy style of many UA-camrs. If something is in your view overrrated or disappointing, you let us know. A realistic portrayal rather than an advertorial is what many of us want in travel (and airline/rail) videos.

@@edmundcarew7235 Thanks I try to be honest in my assessments. I know I would get more clicks if exaggerate things. I cringe when I see the foreigner vloggers say shopping malls are INSANE! It's not true, we do not think this!. I don't like they are lying to Filipinos just for clicks (money). It's just a big shopping mall with shops - nothing insane about that! If they would say the same about a shopping mall in their own country they would be laughed at!
