Paul Finebaum hates the BIG TEN we all see it. He says Maryland vs SEC auburn (he wont waste time with) further confirms what we all knew about him knelling down for sec teams
As a Michigan fan I will fully admit from top to bottom the SEC has the most talent in football but there's this narrative that the Big 10 is just full of slow plodding collegiate only level players and that just isn't the case particularly among the top teams. Last year 62 SEC players were drafted while 55 Big 10 players were including the likely Offensive and defensive ROYs. Last year Bama and UGA led the way with 10 players drafted but Michigan was right behind with 9 and OSU and Penn St. were 4th and 5th respectively. Again the SEC does produce the most NFL talent but it's not like the Big 10 is just void of it or doesn't have it. Schools like UM and OSU churn out a ton of it and have enough talent on the field that they can compete with any SEC team on any given day if they execute correctly.
Both teams seemed pretty “out of sorts” early, to be honest. I don’t think that’s down to coaching…I think that’s down to a bunch of 19-21 year olds playing in the biggest game of their lives with the entire country watching. Even with the best programs, games like this typically yield MORE mistakes from these guys, not fewer.
Nobody was bought. Michigan "built" 15 or 16 MINIMUM 5TH yr or 6th year seniors that wanted to stay and try for a championship. Not making excuses bc their front 7 was great against Bamas pathetic o line and scared center. Bama knows what it did wrong. Hats off to Michigan
The only reason he's changed his position is because Michigan won. We Michigan fans saw this all along, because they've been united for one goal after their loss to TCU last season. This is common sense if you actually watched and followed Michigan this season. Just makes Finebaum look foolish.
Pfff, let’s get one thing straight, Georgia did not belong in the playoffs. Outside of Alabama in their conference championship, they had one of the weakest schedules of any team in consideration. That’s a fact that SEC homers like Finebaum fail to acknowledge.
This is just crazy. Do people forget that against Georgia, Georgia's best player had surgery like 3 weeks before on his ankle and was playing while limping just like their best receiver also was playing while limping and they were without another starting wide receiver, their starting right tackle who is projected to be a 1st or 2nd round pick and their starting middle linebacker, while bama was just missing a running back? All those players were expected back before the playoffs, but they beat Georgia only by 3 with all those players out

Maybe, but you can’t keep having rematches until the outcome you want happens for the favored team. The best team may not always win the championship. Look at the NFL where a 6-11 can beat 12-5 on any given Sunday. It’s just the nature of a tournament system.
Why not “waste time” on the Maryland Auburn game? That was more of a reflection on what the score could’ve been if Michigan didn’t have the hiccups and keep Alabama in the game
There is absolutely no question as to what Bama "coulda shoulda woulda" done in that game in regards to those ridiculous play calls, bad snaps, and that confusion between M Moore and Arnold on defense late in the game. But I give credit to Michigan's front 7 that showed up and were hungry. But I find it way to funny to read comments like this, motivated by nothing but hate for Bama.
So Michigan is doubted because they only beat 2 top teams. Who did bama beat? I hope when everything settles, we have a system similar to English soccer. Image a league that consists of the top 20 teams who only play each other. Even the games among the worst teams near seasons end would matter because of delegation.
Because Georgia isn’t very good this year. The second if alright. But nothing more. If you take second string bowls games as proof of otherwise your looking through sec colored glasses.
Aint a team in the playoffs that can beat a healthy UGA, plain and simple! The Top 4 got on their knees then thanked God and the committee 😂after FSU took that bullet for them! Congrats to the other teams but we know politics when we see em! 😂😂😂
Before the game it was all about how Michigan didn't stand a chance and how they were gonna get walked. After the game it was all about how Alabama wasn't that good and how it was the worst Nick Saban team ever. What a difference reality makes..
“There wasn’t anyone who thought Michigan was gonna come back and win it.” What a bad quote lol. I thought Michigan would win, I wasn’t 100% confident but I was definitely still confident at that point
The ideological disconnect/hypocrisy is apparent in the following statements these two make: they claim to be concerned about Michigan's strength of schedule, buoyed by the fact that Mizzou and Ole Miss beat OSU and PSU. They also claim the Bama loss to Texas doesn't really count because Bama was a different team at the end of the year. The problem is OSU and PSU were different teams in the bowl games they're using to justify their concern regarding Michigan. This is a fact. OSU was playing it's 3rd string QB from the 1st quarter on and was without the best WR in college football (and 2 of its top 3 WRs) and their #2 RB. PSU was without Chop Robinson, half of its secondary starters and had 2 new coordinators (OC and DC). This position only makes sense if you're trying to find info that fits the conclusions you've already drawn.
Michigan played good and they won but…… I think as a bama fan for over 43 years that it was more about Alabama not being ready like they usually are when you give Saban so long to prepare. All in all it was a great year for bama and they came a long way. I will say that Harbaugh is a great coach but he needs to be punished for the cheating scandal in someway. Just read the timeline and all the things they went out of the way to do.
Alabama wasn’t dominant like SEC schools have been in the past. They were a scrappy team with a good coach, but this just wasn’t a great year for the SEC or B1G. No dominant team anywhere. That’s why this has been the best CFP ever from a matchup standpoint and why the NC will be a great game.
An overtime win against Alabama (which lost by double digits at home to Texas and should have lost to Auburn) doesn’t count as dominant. What I’m talking about is the usual blowouts in the CFP. Michigan played a lot of bad teams in the regular season…which isn’t really what I’m referring to.
I give P.F. allot of Credit here. While I thought he was overly critical and hard on Michigan and the fanbase.... he has now admitted that he was wrong about his assessment. It's takes a mature person to do that. I also do not blame anyone for questioning Michigan going into this game based on previous performances in the playoffs and also other Big10 teams poor postseason performances. Just my personal opinion. Go Blue !!
If ya think bout it the BIG TEN kicked 2 SEC teams out"sorta". With Washington and Texas joining the Big Boy leagues next year. Not really but anyway, just giving Pac 12 n Big 12 some shade. Lol
Paul you’re a smart guy don’t act like those bowl games are good measurements and aren’t glorified exhibitions. you also know that this is not a clean sport. dogging a whole fan base is everything wrong with fan bases. i had a alabama fan come up to me at a bar wanting to bet the game gloating instead of letting them just play and being respectful. he ended up getting in my friends (whose a woman) wife’s face trying to trade venmo to bet 500 bucks and she really didn’t care about football and told him nicely she really wasn’t into football and wasn’t interested in socializing with him anymore. look at every video before the michigan alabama game and tell me again seriously that Michigan is more obnoxious than every other fan base. no need for insults. those who can’t do teach those who can’t do either do what you do paul still love you though Go blue. michigan players didn’t execute most of the game but harbaugh and his staff put them in every position to win with far less “5 stars” Saban kirby meyer= average at best football coaches when they aren’t able to just out recruit everybody
Yea, thanks for NOTHING Paul! This was such a back-handed compliment if I have ever heard one. Both these clowns tried to walk back their comments about Michigan that they have been spewing all season long. Neither were convincing. Again thanks for NOTHING!
The game went to overtime! How can anyone say Alabama was given a pass! They were #4…Michigan #1. Yes Georgia would have maybe beaten Michigan…but this was a tie game
The out of sorts is because of a 4 week lay off, and has often been a problem for Michigan in the Big Bowl games. A team can practice a bunch, but it is not like game to game on a weekly basis during the regular season, so often. We saw it last year, mistakes galore against TCU. I as yet do not know what the 12 game play off will look like. However if you want the best football, start the play off after at most a one week lay off when the season ends. Conferences might want to forget about a conference championship also.
I'm so sick of paul, they've Holland sec so much they messed up college football. It's crazy Bama shouldn't have been in . Harbaugh is just as good as Saban in coaching, and it showed. Georgia best to players were hurt .

Georgia was the better team and had some opt outs, but FSU had almost 30 opt outs for that bowl.
5:00 & 9:26 They are finally seeing they overvalued Alabama, the Georgia win was a fluke while the previous 12 games was reality
Maybe, but you can’t keep having rematches until the outcome you want happens for the favored team. The best team may not always win the championship. Look at the NFL where a 6-11 can beat 12-5 on any given Sunday. It’s just the nature of a tournament system.
paul just says lets forget the maryland auburn game for no reason. at least be consistent
Why not “waste time” on the Maryland Auburn game? That was more of a reflection on what the score could’ve been if Michigan didn’t have the hiccups and keep Alabama in the game
Ohio State was a better team than Alabama.
SEC bias at it's best. All season long the SEC wins get so much credit.
That is due to lying ESPN cucks like Finescum.
Bama had a couple of huge wins against Chattanooga and Middle Tennessee State...and let's not overlook South Florida.
Michigan cheated
And didn’t get punished. And you clowns are yapping about favoritism lol. Y’all are pathetic. Its obvious who doesn’t win often. Wow
These two eating crow. Wow 🤣
They over valued georgia all year everyone that watched them play all year knew that they were no where as good as they've been the past 2 years!
O-line doing well? 5 sacks in a half?
Undefeated Matters ‼️
Go Noles🔥🔥🔥
5 sacks in ist qtr v Ala!!
Before the game it was all about how Michigan didn't stand a chance and how they were gonna get walked.
After the game it was all about how Alabama wasn't that good and how it was the worst Nick Saban team ever.
What a difference reality makes..
Enjoy the humble pie and double serving of crow boys 😂💪🏼💯
Iol y’all so happy to beat an a]sec team cause y’all know sec is the best. Michigan had to cheat to win.
@@longsleevethong1457 loser 😂
@@longsleevethong1457 - We fine my brother - we are just a fking good football team!
@@enlightenedrogue3871 when you cheat
"And I know that sounds like you're disrespecting a team..."
No bro, it just sounds like you don't watch film.
So Finebaum admits it has nothing to do with a QB injury. He didn't think they earned because of the conference they play in.
MICHIGAN OWNS BAMA. BULLY BALL IN THE TRECHES
Its about time the sec isnt winning every year
“There wasn’t anyone who thought Michigan was gonna come back and win it.”
What a bad quote lol. I thought Michigan would win, I wasn’t 100% confident but I was definitely still confident at that point
The better team almost always wins even if it requires a come back to do it
Paulie Fraudbaum
Hey Grandpa? I can see that it’s killing you.I just hope that your not yelling and taking it out on Grandma 😂😂 GO BLUE
Tommy Rees high school offense with a playground qb. Lucky Blue played sloppy to keep Buma in the game. SEC? SEC? SEC? 😂
Michigan was dominant throughout the year just wasn't given just and due credit
An overtime win against Alabama (which lost by double digits at home to Texas and should have lost to Auburn) doesn’t count as dominant. What I’m talking about is the usual blowouts in the CFP. Michigan played a lot of bad teams in the regular season…which isn’t really what I’m referring to.
Respect to both these cats for taking accountability and giving Michigan their flowers
Georgia should have been the one to play that game, not Bama
I give P.F. allot of Credit here.
Lol
FACTS
Did you really ask, if you overvalued Alabama?
It took you 3 years 😅 Finley finger out Thay better
Yea, thanks for NOTHING Paul! This was such a back-handed compliment if I have ever heard one. Both these clowns tried to walk back their comments about Michigan that they have been spewing all season long. Neither were convincing. Again thanks for NOTHING!
why do these people who have never balled in their lives have an opinion, like finebaum
FSU won't be relevant again outside making headlines from its ongoing bid to leave the ACC.. It was a goodish run FSU. lol
The game went to overtime! How can anyone say Alabama was given a pass! They were #4…Michigan #1. Yes Georgia would have maybe beaten Michigan…but this was a tie game
Should of never went to overtime. Stupid mistakes on Michigan’s end caused bama to hang around.
Wrong! M kept no spy on Mul! You missed Smarts biggest D gaff of having "2" spies on Mul!!
2 biggest M O plays - no Ala player in sight!!
So apt that DeSanctimonious is one of FSU’s biggest cheerleaders.
>Weiner
found the Jew
Michigan good but not great. Wouldn’t have beat 19 LSU 20 Bama or 21 UGA
This Bama team lacks true greatness. Not in playoff form which is a coaching issue
Finebaum and Jim Harbaugh have to be the two biggest villains in college football.
One is a cheater. The other is not.
@@longsleevethong1457Well go sit in the stands at Michigan games and video their signs and send it to opponents. See how that works. Whiny little twerp.
@@longsleevethong1457One is a cheater, the other is a Jew
Shows you how little these guys know about Vegas. Vegas does not always move the line to equalize the bets, IF they think the public is wrong they will not move the line but accept the risk with the potential to earn more than the vig. More money was bet on Alabama, much more. Vegas made a fortune with that outcome.
Matt y Pablo are ridiculously inaccurate
Finebaum is a hack, where are his beloved SEC teams? Watching the championship game tonite from the comfort of their homes…

Cheaters
@@longsleevethong1457 🤣🤣 cry about it
@@hood_TheJoker you think thats crying? I’m just stating facts. Michigan has been caught cheating several times in the last 3 years. Michigan are cheaters and thier fans have no integrity. Y’all so tired of losing to everyone y’all had to cheat to get a win. You’ll lose 4 games next year.
