Michigan had 5 sacks and held them to to under 100 yards in the first half. Had it not been for special teams blunders, Michigan would have won easily.
Exactly
I don't want to hear a word from Stephen A. Smith or any of these talking heads who picked Alabama, the underdog, to beat one of the best college football teams ever assembled. Anyone who bet on Bama deserved to lose money. Put Lee Corso on.
Thank U
I don't know if "easily" is the proper descriptor when taking on Alabama. TEXAS beat Bama by double digits and I still don't think I'd use the word "easily"
@@MichaelSmith-xb5cpwouldn’t have been easy but there probably wouldn’t have been doubt for Michigan like there was in the 2nd half.

They are a great team but bama did choke in my opinion.
They all saying Michigan is the best team in the nation. That ain’t enough?
It doesn’t fit the narrative that ESPN has perpetrated all season why would they. I glad Paul is ok I was worried for him after that game
Just makes Michigan stronger with the disrespect
Well they was up on Michigan
Literally the only reason bama was in the game was because Michigan had multiple uncharacteristic special teams mistakes. Michigan was the better team yesterday and it really wasn't that close.
I feel like the Special Teams players got it out of their systems and they’ll be fully prepared come Monday!
Well yeah it was close (overtime)
And I hate Bama
So glad I listen to real college football analysts like Joel Klat, Josh Pate, and Greg McEleroy most of the time they actually know how to analyze the game and talk about both sides this segment is 90% about the losing team.
Yeah the good analysts aren’t as popular unfortunately as these fake analysts at the big networks. It’s a real shame we’re stuck with these “experts”.
They can’t fathom having their favourite team lose to their least favorite team. Not when they lost the Big10 rights to Fox’s garbage “big noon afternoon noontime showdown”.
Love MICHIGAN.....!!
Who could hate America’s team! Go Blue!
You’re missing the concept of the segment.. When you dominate not only your conference but the entirety of college football as well as the natty for soo many years and it finally comes to an end or that gold train is clearly slowing down? It becomes a main focus point and topic.. It has to.. A legendary era coming to an end or ending as well as a legendary coach finally being struck down and it being nick saban? No coach in college has won their conference or the natty as many times as he has nor has dominated in the fashion that nick saban and Alabama has and did and I’m by far the furthest thing from being a fan of Alabama but nick and Alabama are a spectacle for sure and we probably won’t see another coach like him in college football nor a program and team that dominated in the way they did and how they did for so long.
Harbaugh really said “It’s an unfair advantage!” 😭🤣🤣 I love how petty that comment was lol 💯
I am by no means a Michigan fan, however this performance is exactly what this team has been all season. Sheer will and sound fundamentals..they showed this against my team at State College and against Ohio State.
You mean cheaters!!!! Scumbags
Michigan’s special teams kept ALA in it. They were ATROCIOUS!!
Hiliarious seeing these 3 amigos try to explain why they were all wrong about Michigan haha
Stephen A didn’t watch the game. If anything Michigan almost blew the game. They outplayed Bama, especially on the front, all game but tried to give it away all game. Michigan was able to pull it out in the end. Great game

Where are all those fanatics at? They must be busy running errands for their overlord haha 😂

Stephen A does not watch Michigan enough to even have an opinion.
@josebriceno7943,
Dude contribute something intelligible or see yourself out. 5th grade ended for most of us decades ago.
Crazy how no one is talking about the right tackle getting destroyed & causing that last play to get blown up
By Josiah Stewart! Who is the “undersized” transfer edge standout from Coastal Carolina!!!! All year all I heard about Stewart was don’t judge him by his size he’s a beast. Well case in point he sent that Bama tackle looking for his lunch.
Play was blown up on both sides. Right side didn't matter because play was to the left. It was dead play regardless after the low snap.
@@eriktyson7696 - I don’t know. If it was a good snap, the left side was completely there. DE over-penetrated and there was a gaping hole. Yes: the guard got blown up and the tackle was losing, but there was a crease right away that Milroe MIGHT have been able to hit had the snap been right. It was not supposed to go up the middle at all: it was designed to go to the left (hence the pull to that side).
As a Michigan fan I’m glad it got blown up, but a as a fan of the game, I’d have loved to see that play with a good snap. Outcome may have been the same, but it wasn’t a dead play in the same way.
@cimirie01 I not a fan of either, but I'd like to see them win this year.
I wouldn't say there was a gapping hole. It looks like he was playing the option. Due to the low snap, Milroy didn't even have time to consider the RB. Its was the MLBs job to cover Milroy. He cut inside instead of outside after seeing Milroy staying inside. Had the snap not been low, there was a chance, but it still wouldn't have been an easy walk-in.
That won the game for Michigan! Stewart won his rep by over powering the RT.
Kinda getting tired of Stephen A being a hypocrite. Coming from someone who said Michigan DOESNT DESERVE to be in the championship game because of the scandal surrounding them. Now… now… he wants to say they’re a special team? As a Wolverines fan I’m not tolerating this. We winning the national championship because if we can’t have it nobody else can.

I hear all the excuses for why Alabama lost, and certainly the snaps were bad. But no one mentioned how horrible special teams were for Michigan. I’ve never seen a worse special teams performance. Those were costly errors. The fumbled flea flicker, the third quarter there were dropped wide open passes and poorly placed throws which are uncharacteristic mistakes by Michigan. Michigan never had good field position because of it. This was a weird feeling game, it felt like a 6 point lead for Michigan in the first half was a 17-21 point lead, in most of the second half it felt like Alabama had scored 20 points. The score didn’t reflect it. All time classic in the greatest place in all of sports.
Reminder: just because Michigan won doesn’t mean they automatically get to advance. If Kirk Herbstreit and his dog Ben feel like Alabama would be better TV they can still put the Tide in the championship game.

I’m not even a Michigan fan but it’s satisfying to see 3 of the top Bama glazers in the country have to eat crow and credit Michigan through clinched teeth
You giving credit to cheaters? Good for you!
Michigan was a better team that overcame a brunch of special teams issues. Which none of the media didn’t even mention much at all or at all. Georgia should have been a 3 or 4 seed. Beating FSU by 60 proved that. Alabama was trash vs usf and auburn and the powers at be do everything possible to get them in the final four.
Georgia lost their conference championship so they didn’t deserve it either. Think about that logic. You lost your conference chip and you still think you deserve a spot? That’s just elitist talk same as Alabama. The teams that actually deserved to be there were Texas and FSU. FSU had a ton of subs in because of injuries and opt outs against Georgia and remember defense wins chips and FSU won multiple games without their QB so if you want to be legitimately honest and fair, FSU got robbed.
It makes sense what you’re saying but FSU lost by 60 in a head to head matchup vs Georgia. If I was on FSU I would be working as hard as possible to prove people wrong if I felt left out instead they on a vacation to Miami and lost by 60!
Great games as an Alabama fan shout out to Michigan but coaching lost this game for Bama similar as the Texas game…. Winning the national championship while being accused of cheating is a god tier screenwriting
Not really. Everyone is doing it. Michigan just had a rube doing it. Bama did it legally and still lost.
And tell me one team college or pro that hasn’t cheated at some point. I’ll wait…
don't care if they cheated or not, but they still have to win one more before crowning any team champions yet...

I'm just glad the committee went with Texas over Florida State. We saw two really good games yesterday with the final four.
And they lost, so there’s that😂
No don't say that was a good game to these fans. Nevermind Bama had a chance in the end, Michigan really should have won 75-zip.
