Love watching Sam Webb cover Michigan, such a great Michigan Man. I would love to be able to see Bob Ufer interview Sam before one of his legendary broadcasts, that’s how good Sam is. Paul is lucky to work with a legend, love you Sam!
It’s not called good coaching, it’s not called good player development. It simply comes down to buying your team. This is all Ohio State can do because Ryan Day blows as a coach.

I did to! Thought we could not let minter go but Herbert was really a guy Michigan needed to make rich and they dropped the ball with that so let's hope his assistant can continue it going forward. We thought nobody could replace Mike McDonald and boy were we wrong so I have a sneaky feeling that whomever coaches the D next year. With Elston and Clinkscale still around those kids will still be flying around the football. I really think the offensive line will hold firm so really it's going to be quarterback. If we can hit a lottery on a QB than it's very possible we can shock a lot of people who think we will have a down year
Now that Michigan has won a NC and Harbaugh is gone Pete will have to find something else to whine about.

Let's stop with not mentioning that Michigan has Justin Tress who was the assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach under Ben Herbert. He knows what to do and was trained by Herbert so I'm sure he'll be successful at Michigan. The Defensive Coord Jessie Minter has trained Steve Clinkscale to assume his position title. There is talk of also bringing in Tray Scott.
Defensive line Coach at Georgia who was responsible for bringing in 6 five star Defensive linemen to Georgia over the past 3 to 4 Seasons. Come on you guys stop playing games with us like the coaching well is dry. Michigan will do just fine In 2025

Sam had exactly the same reaction I had when Paul asked him about OSU's transfer portal success. "How are they doing it?", Paul asked with a straight face.
Sam laughed and said, "How do YOU think they're doing it?"
Exactly, they buy their team$$$$$ and they have analysts on staff with connections and access to the Catapult system, which allegedly they had for several years from around 2015-2021. Gee, look what happened starting in 2021 when that alleged cheating stopped.
Props to Finebaum for admitting he was wrong in a major way about Harbaugh and Michigan football.

So, let's understand the shift and why Paul Finebaum and ESPN are choking on their words when it comes to Michigan football. First, the B1G is going to be completely different and probably THE conference next year with all the new editions making Finebaum's favorites, the SEC a thing of the past despite their new teams. B1G is elite now and all the energy is going to come from there. Finebaum has been an SEC guy and he can't stand that he now has to talk about the B1G and the best he can do and stomach is talk about OSU. He literally is throwing up in his mouth talking about Harbaugh and Michigan. He can't do it and he can't admit what is really happening behind the scenes in portal at OSU. Money talks and we'll see what money can do for a program. Sam showed him the way but Finebaum can't deal with it. Lol

A missed field goal they would've won the national championship too. How Auburn let the Alabama receiver make that corner catch? Did they know Sabin was going to retire so give him one last chance at a playoff? Did they want Alabama and Sabin to beat Michigan?. Alabama wouldn't have played Georgia for the SEC title if Auburn defended that pass. Ohio State would be two out of five if they didn't cancel the Covid year. I'm a buckeyes fan in my second favorite team is Michigan and I was rooting for them to win the national championship. The NIL is for young coaches, and Sabin doesn't wanna deal with that. And they ran Bellichek out of New England. Pete Carrol out of Seattle.

Just because he won some games in Jim's absence, doesn't mean he can run a program. Recruiting, transfer portal, current player management/NIL, and forming a staff. Calling a game is a SMALL portion of the job. I can't believe about every analyst is not talking about this.
@frolickers9699 are you close to the program? Do you know exactly what was on Sherrone's plate? Can't say one way or the other until the man gets rolling as head coach, but anybody in football who knows him has said it was only a matter of time before he got the top job somewhere. Who else was Michigan going to get that would be slam dunk better?
Never claimed to be close the program. But I know no one is a slam dunk. However to say he is qualified off of ONE aspect of coaching is pure and utter ignorance. Only time will tell. It is like saying some a chef can make an amazing meal, doesn't me they can run a restaurant. @@clintoncrites5833
