Unfortunately manga characters will not feature as Dragon Ball games can only use content that’s in the anime. They don’t have the rights to use manga content. Hopefully if the manga is adapted for a Dragon Ball Super return one day, they’ll add them as DLC characters 🤞

I think what happened is that they had different covers based on region. European and American copies had Goku and the Z Fighters and Japan had the Trunks cover. If it isn’t that, then I’m not sure because you can find online, people selling copies that have both cover arts and it’s the same game.

I know it’s a bummer but I’m assuming that it requires the next gen hardware to keep up with the beautiful graphics and motion of Sparking Zero. It’s not guaranteed, but when they release the Switch 2 next year, there may be a Sparking Zero port released the year after. If you were interested in buying that instead.
