Please stop using the wide angle or fish islands that you're using now when you film these. It distorts the car so that you can't tell what it really looks like and it distorts the background. I like your videos and I don't know why you switch to this type of lens but it makes your videos very hard to watch now. This is the second one that I had to stop a couple minutes in because I just couldn't tell what the car actually looked like.

No. Water cooling is bad, running between 97 and 100 celsius all the time. Tuning capabilities depend on a new intercooler. Bmws run around 10 degrees lower. So it’s not a perfect example of engineering.

I have the honesty to tell when something isn’t optimal about the cars I love. And you, somewhere I guess around 19 years of age, call me a « bmw fanboy » because I just point out a fact ? Bmw cooling system is better than Audi cooling system. It’s a fact, data, numbers, call it whatever you want. I think you’re an Audi fanboy, and you forget to be honest with you car. You gotta love the good things and learn to live with the drawbacks, not ignore them.
But you’re just too young.
I really like these videos, but it bugs me when reviewers complain about something with the car that is 100% their fault, like the ESC /drift mode complaints in this video, ESC wasn't even fully off.
Don't complain about something what the car does when you don't have it in the right mode...
I agree that it's annoying but it rarely happens with AutoTopNL, so not really worth a complaint
I agree with you Lukas. I made order for RS3 8Y in November 2021, I can not wait to get it, so I watch my favourite channel AutoTop NL and I hear that Torque Rear sucks....This engine has potencial easily to get +550HP and fight heavy M3 G80 xdrive od track for less price.

Laughable. It's ugly as hell. My 2018 RS3 Limo is superior in design as well as in interior.
10:30 you have to turn off the ESC off again if you turn on the drift mode otherwise it cut power.
But why doesn’t it turnESC off in the first place? I’m sure when you want to put a car in drift mode, you don’t want it to hold back that much that it doesn’t want to drift anyway.
In my car I have to turn ESC off before I can enable the drift mode. So there is a bit of stuff to do before it’s in drift mode, I guess just to make sure you are sure about entering it and are aware of the danger or so.
However if you can enable it just by the press of a button, it would be logical it would turn off ESC straight away.
If you drive a rwd car and want to really drift it, you don’t keep all of that stuff on either right.

@@DnBDubstepManiak1 it’s not really a drift mode but you are able to drift in it anyway. Like he said it only sends 50% power to the rear
@@DnBDubstepManiak1 Its a safety feature. If you really want to drift, you have to confirm that. So if you don't have that much experience in drifting, the car will safe you and maybe it will avoid a bad crash.
@@ethanfairburn6665 Where do you have that information from? Audi said it will send 100% of the power to the rear in drift mode.
you haven't deactivated the ESC completely in torque rear mode... you have to press the ESC button for 5 seconds to completely get rid of any intervention.....

I was nervous for a min there. That torque rear mode is one of the reasons I decided on the RS3 now. I had an S3 and although I liked it, it definitely did have understeer
@@hlf_coder6272 I tested the new RS3 with winter tires in the Blackforest region last November, and I made sure that you can disable the ESC completely before I signed my order! I look forward to getting it (hopefully) soon...
You were not in ESC off-mode... It says ESC sport-mode @13:32. That is why it is limiting the power

If Audi was to make a successor to the old B7 RS4, I feel like it would be this car. Which to me is a compliment because the B7 RS4 is one of my favorite Audi's ever. I love this car's size and also the muscular look to it. Also that inline 5 cylinder engine is amazing!

Hey max have you tried disabling stability mode? Press and hold the traction controll button…. It should deactivate the traction controll but continue to hold and it will or should deactivate stability controll… which should allow you to drift freely.. cars are my life and I appreciate the work you do for the channel ! Keep it up 👍

I thought you can change the dash cluster layout via switching drive modes but when you switched to dynamic/sport it was unchanged. Figure that out? Cant wait to get mine hope i dont regret black but will wrap purple right away anyways

The revs come towards you because of if u would be in manual mode u could see the revs better. If they would go the other way it would be really hard to see if u were at 5000 or 6000 revs

I really like the new RS3, and I prefer the saloon over the sportback. I do have to say that black on black is one of the best specs for this car, I feel that there is too much black trim, and with a contrasting color it’s very noticeable

Thinking about this RS3 if not for the gear knob. Ceramics with dynamic package. Can steel brakes handle high speeds? (over 150km/hr)
Its not about the speed its more for track IE: very regular breaking. Ceramics don't get as hot so less break fade.
