I tried making a settlement in the furthest corner of the map, and on the 6th day, I got attacked by a horde of wolves. Not 10 or 20 but closer to 40. Felt biblical!

I built in this valley that should be easy defense. It’s surround by high cliffs on one side with a deep mine. Next update will be good with armor and stuff
How...the max spawned animals should be 4, and if you build on the spawn, it dissapears
I was playing co-op with a friend earlier and I placed down a simple house and all was fine but as soon as I had built the foundation Wolves exploded out of it. the game has always had some weird glitches to keep you on your toes though.
They need to let us create wagons to carry more logs and stones, ores.
This update was WELL needed. Although I hope one day we can get terrain tools. I've been wanting it since the game's release. It's SO hard making a decent looking village in 98% of the map because even the slightest of elevation in the terrain makes it impossible to place structures unless you can find an awkward angle to place it at.
The amount of times I've had to destroy my entire village because the deceptively-flat terrain ended up being elevated and I can't place anything is mind boggling.

I found bronze knifes and tunics to be a reliable way to get the cash flowing. Sell copper sickles until you reach bronze tools and finally switch to buying wool and crafting tunics as soon as you unlock the 750 production milestone.

Building on water and making Bridges like the ones in the game would also be a great addition.

Excited to play coop on xbox! Do you unlock different clothing options for your character to wear in coop? I mostly have only seen people wearing the same tunic and trousers.
You can either make or buy new clothes! Everyone starts with the same outfit, though.
The voiced NPC one-liners are driving me insane. I like to play with infinite carry weight, and they are constantly making quips about how I'm carrying too much:
"Is there some weightlifting competition I don't know about?"
"Are you an aspiring mule?"
"You look as if you are carrying 100 stones, but where are they? In your pocket?"
"I have a hunch you're going to get a hunch if you keep carrying all those things"
"This is what greed drives us to, we can't let go of any of our belongings, (blah, blah blah)"
"Why don't you put down your things, I'll watch them for you"
"You should hire a personal wagoner to carry around all your things"
"Do you really need all those stones?"
Etc, etc, and so on ad infinitum. Even my own wife gives me shit about it! Like, yes, I really do need all these things because you lot keep asking me to do your grocery shopping for you and get you flax to craft brand-new "old rags"!
Nice video. How do you get the I’m dead emote - I only see 3 emote sections whereas it seems to be in an IV section which I do not see?
the IV emotes are only on The Valley map for some reason
For me it’s char gen and a new map to explore. The cosmetic aspects are lovely though!

In the oxbow do we get to have like heirs and such? Or is that only in valley. I been playing for a long time but not in a while since the capacity update. I rather enjoy the heir and story behind it, im hoping the oxbow is like that D;

Love this game but it’s hard to find frens to play with. I found a cave on the river in a valley surrounded by walls and it’s an amazing spot to build. But I need frens lol

I don't think you lose out on much not playing solo, but if u ever have the chance, it's worth trying The Valley 😀

I don't think Co-Op will be available on release for VR Medieval Dynasty, unfortunately..

i had bought this game after hearing co-op was in the works and WOULD be coming. eventually. i glad they followed through i hope i can get my buddy to play. he should, got little of everything for everyone
The decorations made me go back to my old village and redecorate lol! Might make a video showing off that village in a week or 2
This oxbow map is great, but there is things they really need to change/fix. Firstly they need to double the amount of days there are in seasons. Seasons go far to fast to do things. My biggest thing i hate the most is when making a farm plot. Instead of being up and down to make it neat. It goes on a 45 degree angle. Yet when you go through the settlements that are there. There fruit tress and other plants there farming are all properly left and right.
You can customize the game to have more days in a season, from 1 day to 30 days
When planning your buildings, lay them North to South or East to West, that way the farming grids will line up with it - or alternatively - put a field down first and then the building, thats the way I do it!
Yeah i wish i had, but i think it still wouldnnt look right as i have built between a massive river and a road that run parallel with each other. I just wish the ground wasnt lined the way it is and we can just put down the farm anyway we want just like we can with buildings. we can turn them any which way. Great video by the way.

I bet swords will probably come in the next update, which is armor crests and shields. I don't think potatoes will be added due to the time period, but I could be wrong!

Yes!
If anyone completes quests from the board in town, the money goes to the player that hosts the game.

I guess since you play on the admins village, all the money earned goes to the "boss", the other players are like helpers
on one save I have, I built my town around a Swamp, near the fishing Villiage in Oxbow..anyway I romanced a Woman & we had a child..now she does seams to be working even if she is pregnated..which is good..I have a large Settlement..though not a huge pop of it yet..how do you make your Settlement pop repop it then? :)
It takes a while for your villagers' children to be old enough to work, so you will have to recruit newcomers that sit in the camps outside the village

Online. Maybe they'll add split screen when it's released to console? Not sure tho

I kind of like the game but the monsters arent same. On other hand the management of town setlement and questing I am really liking it. If this game and conan exiles made a baby u have fun CooP.
Bandit caves or purge-like raids would be an interesting idea for the game

Oxbow looks smaller and pretty barren, very few trees its a pain to find wood without turning the land into the moon
I think my biggest complaint is map size. I haven't had any tree issues, but my first 2 villagers are usually woodcutters, so I don't have to deforest the entire map 😆

Does anybody know what happens if you make a female character and choose a husband? With children, I mean. Does your own character then automatically get pregnant? What happens to the baby? Because usually, when the NPC women have babies, they don't work for 2 years, right (or at least, that was how it used to be I think). But obviously, your own female character could hardly not be playable for 2 years, right? 😂 I'm only on year 2 and haven't chosen a husband yet, hence my question.
I have read that the husband stays with the baby for the 2 years instead. I assume the pregnancy just happens to your character, unaffecting your actions as it did with racimirs wife when pregnant before she gave birth..
I remember reading the patch notes, and it's currently an issue that when you get pregnant, the pregnancy icon is on the husband and not you atm 😅 but yea, the dad becomes house husband for 2 years

i mean coop is fine and shit hunting bears, but honestly, once you have 4 hunter villagers there is literally no reason to hunt anything i have 1000 fur and leather and meat in storage all time , 4 farmers and 700 squares of flax fields with automated working bring in money so much you dont have to do shit but throw rocks in the river, probably i broke the game lol, in one season 4 vendors make around 16k coins i dont even have to vendor sell stuff anymore , last night i bought every cow in gostowia and still was left with 9k coins lol

I wished this game had buildable parts instead prefabs already made, you know foundations, walls, roofs.Would be more fun to build and decorate mansions and all, im playing it with friend but so far is kind of boring. And so far not much to fight, found a bandit camp and thats it.
