At 45:05 , that's the end of a railroad line. You can research the rails with bytes and at some point in your progression you will unlock a mission related to the trains. Hope that helped if you plan on returning to astroneer. Also, you can locate the mat by opening your compass and if you feed the pets seeds, they give temporary buffs which can be replenished by more seeds
The coolest item for power plant (especially earlygame) is tapper. That item have to be placed on a tree and then it starts producing organic. Infinitely. With two autoarms, smelting thing and medium generators it can produce big amount of power INFINITELY, and to increase that amount, you just need to add more generators and more tappers. That's EXTREMELY overpowered)
If they do, I hope they realize at some point that machines can access containers on the same platform. And also that feeding the space snails gives benefits.

I was scrolling through my Homepage bored, looking for a video, when this absolute beauty of a gem popped up. I am so glad to see another of Crowmeda's masterpieces. Have a good long holiday and a happy new year.
You guys need to do 100 more days to progress more stuff. While I haven't finished the video, here are some pieces of info. On Desolo, you can get a hoverboard for fast personal travel. You can reach the caves very fast. On Calidor, it's an ideal planet to set up an explosive factory, as some items need to be blown up to get resources. On Vesania, you can get the VTOL, which is a flying transport. It's not very large, but you can make a large hole and make your way up and down. On Novus, you can find special roses for an endgame questline. On Glacio, the wind is very frequent, so a wind based factory is ideal. You can also get a massive amount of bytes from items on this planet. On Atrox, you need helium from the atmosphere to make large amounts of nanocarbon alloy, needed to make RTG's (infinite power), as well as portable oxygenators (just provide power for infinite oxygen). And now for some tips and tricks: -Machines can be set to constantly run, so you don't have to keep hitting accept. -large drill heads can be equipped on your vehicle, allowing it to carve a path through anything. -when given a paver, a large soil canister, and a drill, you can drill easily to the center of every planet. -you can build a crane and attach it to your rover to mine away at stuff. -the excavator is a large drill that can passively mine any resource node it's placed at. The higher the green bar, the better the placement. -if you build a massive shredder, you can break down everything in the game for plenty of scraps. -if something is too large to break down in a shredder, blow it up into smaller pieces. -scrap can be used at the trade station for rarer resources. Additionally, near every planet core is an abundance of astronium, which can be traded for rarer resources. Exo chips are a rare resource used to trade for the most valuable items like the qt-rtgs. -the two moons have all over their surface and the first cave layers a bunch of chess figurines. -an auto arm can help with automation. It can grab a single resource nugget to move it somewhere behind it. -you can build train stations and transport supplies in a fast manner. Just have a spot at each end you can use to call the train, and it will arrive, so you can load/unload

You going down really deep on sylva reminded me of a time me and a freind drilled to the center of atrox armed with tethers, tier two drill mod, an rtg we found from a structure and a tractor. It was worth it because near the center of atrox you can find a research item or multiple of them that can get researched for 14000 bytes also if you put a paver on the front of the large rover with a medium soil canister and a small soil canister then it will place a platform underneath you when drilling underground

This game is the most relaxing experience ever in singleplayer, and the most chaotic experience ever in multiplayer. Also, I can only imagine how bad Goat’s PC is because I play on an old laptop and it runs perfectly on medium settings.
The little creatures you find on each planet all give different buffs when you feed them their favorite plant. the pink one will stop any damage from hitting you, making you invincible for the duration.

This sparked my interest for astroneer after years. As always your on point with the entertainment and narration. And I know it’s more tricky when it comes to getting more people gathered for videos like this but they really bring some of these games together and not only because you can beat a game quicker. Like the raft video it was much more interesting to listen to the group struggles. But whatever video you do they have so far always been entertaining
Haven’t gotten far enough to know if you’ve figured it out, but an easy way to make safe ramps down including just digging down is have the flatten mode on and have your circle cursor at the angle you want (digging first can help get said angle) then just hold down flatten the whole time as you go down! (or up)
This one time my friends and I had a spare solid fuel thruster that was half empty so we launched it all the while another of my friends was exploring to find the structures on the surface and of course the thruster landed directly on their head and we laughed for a solid 10min

@@iangraff2976 which means that theoretically you could get a ton of Alts to duplicate their snail and thus have an army of Rogals constantly producing 4 power each. I know I did the math once, but on just a medium silo full of dupe rogals and a seed farm you make like hundreds of power per second
It's actually really easy. Infinite resources can be automated from soil by either direct crafting in centrifuge or by printing and recycling canisters into scrap for metal trades. From there it's just a couple other steps to having a maxed out big rover with five critical components: seat, high tier drill, paver, soil container, power. Now you can dig straight down infinitely to ANY core in minutes. With the largest shuttle and some re-packers you can haul this setup around at will. I fell into this game HARD at launch before automation and bugfixes. Trains are so freaking worth another playthrough, no exaggeration. Would do it with friends.
I think the Resin looks like cobs of corn. What you guys REALLY needed were QT-RTG's which can only be gotten from mission rewards, and to unlock the blueprint to make RTG's. RTG's are those infinite-energy things you got one of, they take two connected slots. QT-RTG's are the same, but have less energy output and take one slot. Very useful to have on your backpack.
Perhaps you could try blowing up one of the planets in the game. I suggest the planet Atrox, since its atmosphere contains helium, hydrogen, and methane which can lead to more powerful explosions. Make sure you don't bring extremely important items because you'll go down with it.

In all my time of astroneer, I dont ever think ive seen someone manage to duplicate the snail. This is facinating technology.

A good tip. If you use a drill and paver with a medium soil canister you can make a core drill that easily goes to the core of any planet in seconds

It's actually really easy. Infinite resources can be automated from soil by either direct crafting in centrifuge or by printing and recycling canisters into scrap for metal trades. From there it's just a couple other steps to having a maxed out big rover with five critical components: seat, high tier drill, paver, soil container, power. Now you can dig straight down infinitely to ANY core in minutes. With the largest shuttle and some re-packers you can haul this setup around at will.
I fell into this game HARD at launch before automation and bugfixes. Trains are so freaking worth another playthrough, no exaggeration. Would do it with friends.

I think the Resin looks like cobs of corn. What you guys REALLY needed were QT-RTG's which can only be gotten from mission rewards, and to unlock the blueprint to make RTG's. RTG's are those infinite-energy things you got one of, they take two connected slots. QT-RTG's are the same, but have less energy output and take one slot. Very useful to have on your backpack.

Perhaps you could try blowing up one of the planets in the game. I suggest the planet Atrox, since its atmosphere contains helium, hydrogen, and methane which can lead to more powerful explosions. Make sure you don't bring extremely important items because you'll go down with it.
