When I thought that you have just convinced me to buy Sengoku, you gave so strong pros of MD that I don't know which one to buy again, and eventually I think I will just buy both. Now only waiting for some nice sale on Steam... I'd also gladly see shrines in MD. Well, I hope that MD will introduce all the good things that SD has and vice versa, so I won't have to buy both... without these changes and without a solid discount, I won't buy neither probably.

Biggest mistake I made in Medieval Dynasty was not understanding how to keep my first wife happy. Second time was the charm, though.

So what you're saying is if the two studios were to merge, we'd have a perfect Dynasty game. You do raise a good point - churches and religion are conspicuously absent from Medieval Dynasty. Hopefully they will remedy that.

i played a lot of medieval dynasty in xbox pass but its too shallow that i abandoned it late game

medieval dynasty just need directional combat to make it more fun similar to mount and blade and bellwright

Medieval Dynasty is more polished in it's overall system, Sengoku has more freeform with building and better combat, with a slightly janky resource system as it's less polished.

Really too bad that there isn't much updates to the game. It's practically just cosmetics. I would like to jump in again and build a village from scratch

I just recently had a king's quest that wanted 400 logs, 900 stone, 150 limestone, and 900 straw.... that took a bit to do...

Before u go, pick up your first quests! 1. Settle somewhere near a mine cave. 2. Build three woodsheds and three small houses. Label the woodsheds “LOGS”, “Planks & Firewood”, and “Sticks & Bark”. Mine the cave for ore and stone with which to build ur first houses out of. Use the woodshed to make planks, don’t worry you will have help doing this soon. 3. Plan your first field. Make it a big one. You will plant it. Count how much fertilizer and seeds you’ll need. I recommend flax! 4. Hopefully you can get the items you need for your first quests around this time bc they will give u rep, which u will need to recruit villagers. In case they don’t pay that well, be sure to check out any ruins or abandoned carts for money and supplies to sell. 5. Go to turn in quests and while in town buy fertilizer and seeds. It’s okay if you don’t have enough. 6. On way back, recruit as many people as you can! Remember each small house can hold a man and a woman. Be sure to put buckets of water and food and firewood in their chests when u get back! Repeat this General cycle and your village will grow!

Its top class I watched you build most of it from the start, but you have added lots more to the village it's just amazing. I myself have 140 pop I've not put anywhere close to the work you have put in lest just call my village practice its nothing I feel would win any awards lol You win all of them awards hands down. The creativity for this is absolutely crazy this is how I picture my end game but I struggle just to get the most basic of operations going and providing enough tools for the various village needs

Damn when i dead, just load save file and my character just yet another year. im not ready for having heir take care my village.

music annoying, in my world their is way less fish and anyway i would much rather prefer to earn money with a automated product line then run around for broken houses or fishes. i slowly see why some say this game is a grind. And i love some grind do not get me wrong but just up to a point.

What's with the weird antlers?

Not a failure but to ease the production of rot, build a washing tub outside your food storage and put everything you want to spoil in that. Makes it way easier to find everything back as some items pretend to roll away after dropping. And hire a herbalist very soon from the beginning and set them to collect morel mushrooms in spring, berries in summer and mushrooms in autumn to get decent amounts to set to spoil to rot. Later in game when you have animals to provide manure you can set the herbalist to getting herbs.
