- With a speed of 456 km/h (283 mph), Max Biaggi and the Voxan Wattman broke 21 world speed records at the Kennedy Space Center. The Voxan Wattman remains the fastest electric motorcycle in the world.
It took sweat, determination, passion and hard work to turn our goal into reality. Voxan’s journey has been magnificent and indescribable since the very beginning. We made it happen thanks to an outstanding team and Max Biaggi. This achievement would not have been possible without all the people and partners involved in these record attempt.

Notice that the bike has hub-center steering - tricky to make practical on a street bike, but just fine on an LSR machine, where low frontal area and elimination of telescopic-fork stiction would count more than turning radius.
And I wonder if the circle dance at 1:56 was semi-unwillingly staged for the camera - it seems much more like a hippie thing than a motor-racing jock thing.
Yeah that was a bit gay, especially because electric still has a bit of a gay vibe around it.

The bike is French, and many or most of the crew probably are as well. (ua-cam.com/video/6BBVXSrkfgs/v-deo.html).
So American standards and attitudes about proper "manly" behavior might not apply - although I invite you to call a member of the French Foreign Legion "gay".

The music sucks, but the electric sound sucks too. The problem is that they not used a REAL motorcycle.

@@titfortat5727 Top speed is an great achievement. See in car world Bugatti, Koenigsegg, rimac, ssc, henessey are fighting for this purpose. Most of the people are interested in top speed including me. So in bike world why not? I always support any motorcycle manufacturer who build motorcycle to achieve top speed record. For cornering junkies there are so many balanced motorcycles available in the market.
