If they cap THC in Ohio then I’m happy continuing to give my money to Michigan as they support what their citizens voted for😄👍🏼
Grow your own!
I'm a current medical user and with extreme issues I look for a higher thc concentration in dealing with pain and other illnesses.. Got. Dewine likes comparing it to alcohol soo it's like buying diluted whiskey. I prefer 90 proof , it's nice to have a choice.. hod bless America 🇺🇸
Why does Dewine not like Democracy? Did he think that our small, illiterate minds didn't know what we were voting for?
most conservatives have a "better than you" attitude. so yes. he did.
He always does. He ran his last campaign touting his push to have dna ran on rape kits, but failed to mention he was the reason they sat for so long to begin with. He is pushing for the excise tax to o towards police departments. In other words,he wants a well funded gestapo to randomly pull over drivers and accuse them of driving while high. We voted for that funding to go to community outreach programs, such as programs for substance abuse. I hope every republican voter that voted on this remembers this come voting time.
Yes because it's not a Democracy it's a Republic
All politicians are for the people, if we agree with them.
He sure does, that's why he tried in August to get us to all sign our rights away, and if you noticed, it nearly did pass. They made the excuse it was to protect babies, but the bill outright removed MANY of our voters abilities to shape our government leaving most of the power in Deswines hands and the rest of the people in our state.
sales are gonna be WAYYY less than michigan if we cap the % of THC no one wants to buy schwag
Yeah, over 20% thc doesn’t make it more potent it will make it worse by losing important cannabinoids and terpenes.
The process of selectively breeding cannabis for higher THC content doesn't necessarily result in the loss of other cannabinoids and terpenes. However, there can be a trade-off between THC and CBD (cannabidiol) content in some strains. Some strains are bred to be high in THC and low in CBD, while others may have a more balanced ratio.
@@frenchcakes I wish I can send the link but its disabled here. UA-camr Khalifa Genetics made a video about breading for higher THC percent doesn’t mean potency
Higher THC also doesn't necessarily mean less of other cannabinoids as long as correct breeding practices are in places@@EnergyWRLD
30% is a good round number to use as bottom number
now we need to legalize cross border shipping of weed from other states. because states that have a surplus could help new states get started and it would help them too.
even those that start growing now are looking at a minimum of three months before their first harvest.
That's not legal? (Under the issue 2)
That’s a good idea
Just drive to Michigan….
cant cross state ship till its federally legalized...felony arrest if you busted doing it now
@zigzagzarf Don't care. Do it anyway. Then, arrest any feds trying to stop or steal it.
If they cap the % of thc then they need to limit the % of alcohol
They already do
@@seangelarden9543 i meant lower
Lol issues 2 is trash just like Ohio⚪️🗑️💩🤡👿
Since the law allows personal cultivation of cannabis how can they mandate the level of potency of cannabis in Ohio? THC is largely determined by genetic inheritance passed on to the seed.
@@user-yp9nz6bs9qall this is going to do is keep people shopping in Michigan or continue buying on the streets with no additional tax.
Legislature has already said they are going to do all they can to fight this.
They can be voted out.
About time Ohio. Congrats
Just let the dispensaries sell to everyone on that day. Problem solved. Or go to Michigan to buy…
I’ll be doing that anyway, because he wants the excise tax to go to fund the police departments. No thanks. Our law enforcement doesn’t have a good record already I mean, it wasn’t that long ago a trucker, that was cooperating, was mauled by a police dog. His crime? Missing mud flap.
Just grow your own.
A portion of that needs to go to the communities that were damaged by the war on drugs
All communities
Maby they will replumb water so it's safe
We all need to move to Michigan
Stay TF out of my state.
Help me make sense of this: We can grow up to 6 plants per adults (max 12 if two adults live in same house) but we can possess up to 2.5 ounces. 6 plants can grow well over this amount, so are we just supposed to give it to a friends?
I believe they mean Possess as in having on your person
Possess as in on the street love. You can have more inside your private residence.
You must be stupid… it’s for personal use 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
@@ashleyspazzymonsterbeatz Only if you want to be labeled a tax cheat or have your Kids taken by CSD,.....I'm in Colorado,....YOU ALL JUST PUT A HUGE MONKEY ON YOUR BACKS IN THE NAME OF CONVEINCE
Define "possession". Does this mean on your person or in your home...car...dog house? Card holders cannot possess a gun. So then does the same rule apply?
Only thing recreational legalization does for card holders is make long lines for overpriced product, michigan sells ounces for $75 everywhere,
I am not sure where you are located in Michigan but you can get ounces for $50 and in some dispensaries you can get shake ounces for $30.
Consider the THC level, higher level of THC, less cannabis needed to be consumed. @@barbaraeslick558
@@barbaraeslick558yeah of straight bunk 😂 just because it comes from a dispensary doesn’t mean it’s fire lmao
I love how reporters NEVER speak the way normal people do
people mad about the THC cap like please some 35% pack would turn your mf pacemaker off yall goofy 🤣🤣
The debate on the rules will never end and therefore recreational cannabis will never happen . The elites didn't want issue 2 to pass in the first place . Obviously democracy doesn't exist in Ohio.
Exactly.
I'm growing a dozen plants ( Sour Diesel, 23% THC) and giving every last bit of it away. The General Assembly can blow me.
And if anyone from Liquor Control tries to tell me what's what on a bar patio they better bring the Fayette County Sheriff with them if they don't want slapped.
Yes that would be what you would believe to happen by order. ... but the wheels have well been greased
OTC drugs and medicines labeled with a Drug Facts panel in accordance with the regulations of the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are exempt from sales tax.
Whats worse, harmful substances that aren’t legal are cheaper than weed.
Thats OK we know we're to get it been doing before it was legal.
I'd rather grow my owen
Smart choice if you have the resources and assets to grow the maximum amount allowed by law. The neighbors should probably not be informed about the hobby.
It does not take alot, some lights in a room, or a small greenhouse, why would your neighbors care, it is legal, everyone can grow.
Lowes just stocked a section of Grow lights!
Government mafia is like yeah more war money
Respect the vote of the PEOPLE!!! Democracy Remember???Morons!
They had the opportunity to make changes before it was voted on.....duh.
No…they did not! You do not know how it works! The bill is altered after its passed, not before, as it was placed on the ballet by petition!
de wine has to go, he is power hungry
looked like you were bout to make out with him on that green screen 🤣
Michigan is open
I think it should be legalized but somebody please answer this is the job market still going drug test for this
Yes lots of jobs will still drug test.
No, my son just accepted employment with the usps, NO DRUG TEST, they even make light of it
Federal jobs like truck drivers will test.
I know a man whose dream job was working in a marijuana growing facility.
He didn’t smoke for 90 days to pass their drug test.
After he got the job he asked if they drug test.
They laughed in his face! And said “Look around. Everybody in here is high right now.”
So I guess you need to ask first.
It’s going to throw responsibility on the individual to not get high on the job. Especially a dangerous job.
Because getting fired for being high on the job will follow you.
Let's be real. No job will be able to afford to keep pot smokers away. There's too many
@@blehblah8361 The only problem with that theory is if job-related injuries go up workman's comp will eat companies alive
Gosh bless States of America...(not united).
Mike dewine or any politician who try to stop any issue we the people vote in they should be voted out of office immediately ohio has spoken on issue 1 issue 2. Can't stop change adjust it or voters should vote you out. All politicians better listen we the people put you in office will take you out. No matter the issue. God bless America 🇺🇸 and Americans
Dewine doesn’t even want his job back he’s not running again so it doesn’t matter if he fucks it up or not
Dewine don’t give af he already said he’s done anyway
@@bradylyons3281 Lol so Dewhinney regret running for and won the second turn.
You can start smoking it Dec.7th
Been smoking
unless something changes, you can start growing on December 7th
Lol they probably change it no home grow just retail sales of low thc products
1941
Right on, not hard.
LEGALIZE IT DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!
If it's to expensive you can still drive to Michigan, I had a medical card and it was cheaper to drive to Michigan. But if they change the law to much I will vote for democrats this next election
Just grow your own.
@@user-bo4gw1xj4u Cost too much. I have tried .
Voting blue because of weed, is about as ignorant as it gets!
@@cowboyx9380 True. I vote blue so that the religious fundamentalists don't get to take this country back to the 1620s. You can make the argument for GOP economic policy, depending on economic conditions, but you won't convince me that people who think the world is only 6,000 years old are the best people to put in charge of anything other than a Sunday school.
@@VulcanLogic Yet you elected a Catholic? 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Hypocrite much?
What a joke.
why is the Govt involved with what I put in my body?
They don't care to hand out Oxy's, Percs, Fentanyl, etc. Clowns.
seriously?? The government is involved in everything you put in your body. From food, to water, to medicine, to the air you breathe. Which is why regulations are so important. They make companies responsible (well at least they used to before we became beholden to corporations).

Lawmakers can still repeal it.
Based on past history in Ohio politics, the odds are that this law will never be on the books at all. Sorry.
The people voted for it. The people have spoken.
I doubt they will repeal but they will water it down and make it as expensive as they can.
