Actually, you can keep whatever you end up growing. I think the possession laws are with regard to cannabis that you purchase. I don't recall which one it was but there was a video explaining that. I think it was in someone's "what you need to know" video about issue 2. I mean surely even the people that wrote the Initiative knew that a single cannabis plant can grow more than two and a half ounces.

The THC value only comes into play when the plant starts to produce resin or AKA Trichomes with a THC value that can be measured, some farmers had to destroy their hemp crop because it went above 0.3 even if it was 0.4 or 0.35 it would have to be destroyed by law. They should charge $25-$100 dollars a year for a licence similar to one like you have for hunting or fishing,and that would cover the costs of taxes for it too. For 10 plant limit.
