Ohioans voted last week to make recreational marijuana legal in their state. Challenges lay ahead in the Ohio statehouse, but if the referendum becomes law Indiana will be surrounded on three sides by recreational marijuana states.

Well if you vote republican you vote for corporations to do anything they want to you and they can look up on social media to see if you complain and hold that against you.
I support drug testing welfare recipients. If our tax dollars are feeding and housing a person who can otherwise afford weed,then we have the right as tax payers to demand accountability.

Like Texas, Indianna government doesn't have enough to do but worry what brand of cigarettes its citizens are smoking. It's been legal in Canada for years....Even before it was "officially" legalized, you could order on line in Canada.....About 2 yrs before it became official.....Canada Post was the biggest weed delivery system, and there were no problems......Now there are stores everywhere.....

There’s really no point in fighting it anymore. They’ve lost the battle, we’re just waiting for them to fully realize it. Soon it’ll be federally legal and they’ll be forced to figure out how to regulate it anyway so just get it over with!
While I’m all for legalization everywhere, there are times and places where it doesn’t belong. Any job that involves driving, heavy machinery or other safety precautions should treat it like alcohol or other intoxicants. Too often am I driving behind a car with plumes of smoke flowing out the windows. Time and place for it but NOT then and there.

How stupid can Indiana be?!?!?! Our state BADLY needs tax money, and we have a lot of conservatives that don't want their taxes raised. Great! Then #1- legalize weed for those 21 and over, #2- tax it heavily so we can keep INVOLUNTARY taxes low for citizens, and #3- make VERY stiff criminal penalties for selling black market weed. If you do those three things, this is a big win for the state.

As a Libertarian, I am all for legalizing maijuana, however changes to the social safety net should be changed in response. If a normal, healthy, and able-bodied person can afford an ounce of weed, then they can afford to feed themselves without the need for welfare.
