If you haven’t tried this little trick, you gotta try it! It’s works amazingly. You can make your own labels for your sewn projects.

Great way to get your own custom logo onto a fabric product. Example; purses, bags, t-shirts, etc. Besides stenciling straight onto the fabric.

🤩🤩🤩 thanks!! I used this method using "Prym" freezer paper bought online (cannot find any freezer paper around my place (Spain) I needed to find a scaled down fabric from 1790 era. at a reasonable price. for a doll project. I printed it on my inkjet printer. I was a bit scared as I never did this before. I used transfer paper for little motif on t-shirt but it leave a "plastic shine" around and on the motif. This method with freezer paper does not leave any shine. . it looks like a real factory printed fabric. I used cotton .

Thanks! Great video! Are you using an ink jet printer, or a laser printer? If ink jet, wouldn't the image run if washed?

My Reynolds kitchen freezer paper I just bought is not sticking to my fabric, unlike yours it says bpa free idk if it's a newer environmentally friendly type but it doesn't iron and stick. any advice? thanks

Isn't better to wash the fabric before this procedure? I would think that maybe the ink would enter the fibers better. What do you think?

Amazing!!!!! Will this work with inkjet printer only, or can I use it with a regular canon printer?

The freezer paper we have in the states doesn’t have a shiny side. Is there a certain brand that people use?

Sounds like you may have parchment paper. Freezer paper has the waxy shinny side. Reynolds makes it but off brands just as good. "Freezer" will be printed on box. Parchment paper will not have the shinny, waxy coating and box will have Parchment printed on it.

I use Reynolds...it does have a shiny side and is great for drawing appliques and patterns (and freezing things!)

Smoothly tightly woven fabrics are best, we prefer cotton as it takes in the ink better.

Nobody tells you how to make the image washable!

It depends on the inks but I've had success with a simple vinegar bath to set the inks. Just float the fabric in a dish of white vinegar for a few minutes. Allow it to air dry then iron the image. There was one brand of generic ink I used that still lost some vibrancy from the red but was otherwise fine :)

I thought using high heat on the iron set the ink. Never used the vinegar method. I would use heat before I dunked it in any liquid.... after all is done....heat that puppy on high if your fabric iscotton

Iron on high heat to set the ink then removed from the freezer paper. Use a product called Retayne. Follow the directions on the product. Then when that is finished iron dry ink side down.
