'Rooftops' was directly inspired by the band 'Good kid', as a guitarist who cant sing, I heard Good Kid for the first time and was hooked by how upbeat and radiant their songs sounded and thought there was not much way of me replicating that without vocals, so I tried singing for the first time and it sounds alright!!! The lyrics are about chasing your dreams! Full song ua-cam.com/video/zArCEfKHgLk/v-deo.htmlsi=0yBK12YHoAZZRGuw
amazing job on the whole album, could tell there was a ton of work put into it!!! wish ill one day actually finish my album too 😭as a fellow one man producer. your technical skill for guitar is insane too
Man, that's crazy! You're so good at production. Do you have any recommendations for mixing guitars? I really appreciate any advice from you. I only know how to produce orchestral stuff but i really struggle with guitars, hahaha. My music is kind of cinematic, with Yngwie and Michael Romeo vibes, but more modern, obviously. and the other instrumental stuff its like hanz zimmer, ludwig göransson typa thing, But maybe it's just my inspirations because what I actually create sounds pretty unique. In fact, I hope to start on UA-cam and upload my music to streaming platforms by the end of this year, so, yeah man, less talking more practice man fuck fuck fuck!!! Btw, my favorite songs of yours are 'Void,' 'Cloud9' (of course), and 'Skylines.' I'm really happy for you, man, and I've been following your journey for about a year and a half. You're a really good guitarist, and I really hope to see you soon on any lists of the best modern guitarists or something like that hahahah, tksm for the inspiration leroy !!!
Hello man thank you for your comment! I’m not the best mixing guitars myself haha but I know making space for all my guitar parts is crucial with the eq. For solo guitars I like to boost the 1k-1.5k range and for bass guitar I like to boost at 2-3k range. Panning left and right rhythm guitars is my favourite thing to do and it’s done in most songs of my album, whether they are the exact same part or same chords different voicing!
