This is SO SICK! My favorite song all time. Period. In fact, in my music theory class in college (many many years ago), our final thesis paper was to write a thesis on your favorite song, and convince the professor it’s a great tune. Saosin- Seven Years was my choice. Which was kinda risky bc the professor made it very clear the genres he liked and didn’t like. He hated this style music and was a jazz guy. Most just picked a jazz song in hopes for an easy A. I just couldn’t do that. Welp, got an A on the paper. And the feedback I got from the professor was basically “not a genre of music I’d ever listen to, but you helped me appreciate this song, both musically and lyrically, and did a great job explaining what it is that made it special to you.” Good times. And feels like an eternity ago. Lol. Thanks for putting this up Greyson!! Just wish I got to see you do a full playthrough. Lol. And good luck on your upcoming project with Sepultura! You’ll do perfectly fine! Not a doubt in my mind! It’s just a fact that there’s not a genre out there that you can’t master!
