I've just had this exact problem on my CLS320, tyre fitter for the previous owner has buzzed all the nuts on to a ridiculous degree, it took all 16 stone of me on the end of a 3ft bar to crack the hex bolts loose so obviously the locking nut snapped just like yours. I've got hold of a new key but not sure how I'm going to get this locking nut out! I've got some reverse thread female stud extractors coming so hopefull they work...
@stevendcruze7395 I don't understand why mine were so tight, I put them on myself and I never overtighten them. If they needed to be so tight the car manufacturers would supply a longer wheelbrace. The best way to get them off is to split the outer ring with a good quality sharp steel chisel then use the stud extractor. Hope that helps.
