Great so see a car like this find a competent owner thats willing to take care of it. Imagine a stance kid getting a hold of it, would be trashed in a week..
would love if you guys could look into upgrading the brake master cylinder. I put TL Type S spindles/knuckles with the Brembo 4 piston and larger rotor on my TSX but the TSX master cylinder is undersized. You have to use way more pedal travel to get the brakes to really bite and i don't really like how much travel there is. the stopping power is there just takes too much effort to get it. i can lock up the fronts and get ABS to kick in way easier than the TSX calipers. I know the booster and cylinder from the TL-s fits but the issue is different size brake hard line fittings.
I bought this set up for my 09 tsx but i got stop tech rotors. when i put my wheel on , my wheel hub is bigger than the rotor hat it hangs out about a quarter inch ..is this a problem does anyone know ?
@@ahcgarage your video was excellent and I hope to see more TSX videos! I'm the original owner to my TSX since 2005 and it's been slowly becoming a track car.
@@ahcgarage what were the specs on the Mugen wheels? I'm concerned about the offset I guess but I know Mugen wheels have similar offsets to OEM. My Mugen M5 wheels I had on the TSX we're the same specs as the OEM set.
I installed a wilwood brake kit on my integra with SS lines and the pedal feel is super spongy even after multiple bleeding. Any ideas on what I should look at next?
Look into the brake master cylinder, and re-bleed all of the caliper. Try out the special tool we use, it makes brake bleeding a simple task. Link is in the description.
If you let the Master Cylinder run dry/empty, you need to bleed it or you’ll always have air in the brakes. If you have drum brakes, you need to make sure they are adjusted well because that determines the brake pedal height. Also you need to bleed both sides of the caliper (inside and outside).

100%
I've held onto my TSX for 17 years. Still the original owner and kept in Florida. It's becoming a track car build but still daily driven.
Ahhh YESS the TSX is back! Thank you AHC! Much respect to your entire team.👍🏻🇺🇸
Thank you!!
I need a shop like yall in Dallas with the care you put into the install and overall satisfaction for the customer.
Cheers!!
I'm glad to see that you swapped out the blue lug nuts.
Got me looking at big brake kits for my TSX wagon which absolutely does not need it... 😂 beautiful work and thats a clean sedan!

Glad you like them and great catch!!
Can I upgrade my 04 TL brakes to type S brakes? Or do I need to replace the spindal and brake rotors as well?
Do something with the radio please I have the OEM one and I’m so done with the NAV 🥲🥲🥲
They should have added the link to the kit
I absolutely Love this channel.
Wow, thank you!
I can't wait to upgrade to a Wilwood BBK 🔥
You should
Did you change the size of the master cylinder ? I’m wondering if I have to do that as well
We did not change the stock brake master cylinder
and what was the break in procedure? I have the same kit on the accord and it's making a lot of noise still. thanks
There’s a procedure. You should reach out to them
Great job guys god bless y’all 🙏🏻💯
Thank you!!
any problems where the brake squeaks when hot?
Is this style of slotted brakes better than drilled?
We like the slotted look better vs the drilled
Great job guys! 🖤
Thanks a lot!!

On time today!!!

How do they compare to the rl calipers bbk?
Hey guys, I’ve tried to bleed my Wilwoods and the fluid does not come out both valves when pressing the brake, what can cause this ? Acura TL 2004
Did you check your brake lines? Are they Oem brake lines? If so, as they age, the brake hose can collapse internally.
Can you bleed the clutch slave with that tool?
Yes, you definitely can
@@ahcgarage nice i will definitely need it in my tool collection then😬 ,thanks for the response 🙏🏻
Whats that spacer he put for? not really a car guy love watchin these typa vids
I think you are referring to the adapter brackets. It's to mount up the Wilwood calipers to the knuckles
What does the check valve do on the brake bleeder bottle ??
Also what brake fluid do you recommend for this setup? I purchased the same one
Check valve is a one-way valve where you won't get air in the braking hydraulic system
Any type of brake fluids. For the most applications, Dot 3 or 4
Thank you appreciate it !
I have a set of DC5R wheels on my TSX. Do you know if it will have enough clearance with this kit?
Tough to say since we have not done it yet. DC5-R does comes with factory Brembo so based on that, it should.

Hi! I need help my car is a 2008 Acura TSX. I can't find the air sensor can anyone tell me where it is?
Are you referring to the TPMS sensors?
Air mass
@@ahcgarage Is it possible for my car to have no air mass?
I’m looking for a oem windshield sunshade for my 2008 tsx which shade from another acura would fit
The iLX might be the closest

You have the part # for the wilwood pads!?
Unfortunately we don’t. The front brake pads are Hawk pads
@@ahcgarage no part# on the boxes
It should fit 07 tax correct?
Yes
I wish you had painted the rear calipers red haha
We might upgrade for rear BBK. Painting the Oem caliper in red might look silly
More info on brake kit plz

Nvm it's was in the video
